This store will now take only ONE Publix coupon per transaction (they claim that the “one deal per coupon per customer” wording on virtually ALL the Publix coupons means one per transaction), and only ONE Target coupon per transaction (due to the “one coupon per transaction” wording).
The fact that they will only take one Target coupon per transaction is frustrating, but understandable – despite the fact that the Target directly across the street will take several of the same coupon in the same transaction. What’s really frustrating is their new take on Publix coupons; one deal per coupon per customer is pretty logically ONE deal PER coupon PER customer, not ONE coupon PER transaction!
I asked their CS about this last month, when the Green Advantage Buy flyer had the $3 off milk wyb a certain amount of toothpaste, etc. The wording on that coupon specifically said “one deal per transaction,” while all the other coupons said “one deal per coupon per customer.” They were unable to give a reasonable response about why their manager was putting such a rule in place, given the differing wording.
I now shop at the Publix twenty minutes away, rather than this store that is less than two minutes away.
