I am playing catch up…sorry for this being a day late.
I thought I didn’t do much shopping this week… but once I looked at my spreadsheet–I got more than I thought! This week was a bit different as I bought items for my son’s T-ball party. Of course I got some great deals but the cost is not part of my budget as I had funds from the other parents to cover the costs for the supplies. I am not including those items in my weekly totals…although let me just tell you I was able to completely cater the party for less than $5 per family (food, paper products, drinks, everything!!) I did splurge a bit—since I bought $30 worth of hamburgers for the party I decided to take advantage of a MIR that I was able to get my hands on. The MIR is for $15.00 WYB burgers and Bass Ale—works for me!
I spent $22.15 for $189+worth of products. My savings percentage is 89%…not too shabby. The starred items were purchased at Kroger. I had a rain check for the Hormel Pork Roast’s and the Country Time Lemonade is producing catalinas–so I earned $2 in catalinas that I will spend at a later date. I will also earn the $15 from the Bass MIR and $3 for a MIR for my flowers–so overall I think I had a GREAT week!
Here is what I purchased:
Jennie O Turkey Burgers (Frozen) x 2
Tide (Huge Bottle on Clearance) x 1
Gerber Daisy Bunch x 3
Dixie plates x 4
Pork ($13.65 worth–various packages)
Athenos feta x 1
Philly Cream Cheese x 2
Glad Wrap X 2
Kraft Salad Dressing x 3
Kraft BBQ x 6
Hefty Gripper Trash Bags x 2
Sweet Potatoes X 2
Tomatoes x 3
Lemon x x 1
Lettuce 1
Butternut Squash x 1
Dentastix x 6
Watermelon x 1
J&J Steri-Pads x 4
Vidalia Onions x 5
**Hormel Pork Roast x 5 (7.5 lbs)
**Country Time Lemonade x 4
**Bass Ale 6-pack x 1
How did you do this week? Since Mister Linky is having issues…use this linky to leave your link or post a comment!!
I can’t tell you thanks enough for all the VALUABLE info I get from visiting this place! There are many sites that I’ve found with the matching thing going on, but this one is my FAVE! Keep up the great work! Also……what kinda spreadsheet are you using to keep up with your purchases? I’m REALLY interested in finding out more and doing the same. My hubby keeps telling me to write it all down! 🙂 ~Heather
Great site! I use all your tips and print all the coupons – and although the cashiers usually give me a hard time at my Publix, they inevitably ask where I get all my information from. Of course! I tell them about your site and they always write it down.
This weekend was my best trip ever. I spent $77 (which will be $67, when I get my $10 ConAgra publix gift card in the mail), and I saved $137. I had almost 2 carts of stuff, including meat and other pricey items.
Thanks for all you do.
