This was a really good stockpile week! I was able to fill my freezer with over $50 of fresh meat and fill my pantry with tons of paper products and lots of fresh veggies! I also bumped up my husband’s Caffeine Free Diet Coke stash by TEN 12-Packs! My OOP was a bit higher than usual but I feel that the quantity of items MORE than justify what I spent. I paid $35.04 for over $338 worth of products! I saved almost 90% using coupons this week. I will also send in for a few Mail In Rebates for the meats that I purchased– I should get $9 back in rebates.
OK–so I didn’t get a chance to provide details on the coupons I used last week…but–I did this week! I made several trips to Publix and one trip to Kroger. I combined all my trips into one big list for you all to see. I was able to give a bunch of stuff away too. I have plenty of Kraft BBQ from the last sale so I didn’t bring any of those 24 bottles home 🙂 Here is what I got for $35.04 OOP:

HI!
I am new to couponing, and I am simply not saving as much as the other people I read about here. I think I am missing something important. I cannot find a “how-to” guide on your website. Can you point me in the right direction? I do know what all of the abbreviations are. I just don’t seem to be able to “get it.”
Thank you!
gjn,
I sent you an email with some links to my soon to be up site…I hope it helps. If you have other questions–ask away!
Didn’t know where to put this, or if you’d already heard about this. I just signed up for Save a lot Smart shopper club and they emailed me a $5/$20 Q! This is a great sub for my $5/$25 Rite Aid coupons! http://save-a-lot.com/smartshopper
Hey Jen S.
THANKS! I will put up a post so everyone can see! I am not sure my stores will consider them a competitor but I am sure others will!
thanks so much for showing us your coupon usage. It helps sooo much to see how you save. I have always been impressed with your site and keep trying to save as much as you do. I do have a question, do you buy the 24 coupons over the internet, or how do you get that many? I usually get 4 inserts each week am wondering if this is why I am not saving as much as others. Thanks so much for the work you do for others on your site.
Thanks Michelle for posting your coupon matches! You have definitely given me some insight on how you are saving so much money.
I am new to the site, and am not sure how to find some of the coupons for the deals. I believe for some of them, I need the mailer and for some I can print online…can you please help?
Hi Hina,
Coupons come from a variety of places…I try to list as many as possible. Coupons listed in this format (07-05-09 SS) are from the corresponding newspaper date. If you see a blue PRINT– click it and it will take you to where you can print the coupon. Tearpads, Blinkies, Hangtas and Booklet coupons exist out there somewhere–you may or may not have them. I list them in case you do or to make you aware so you can be on the lookout!
Hi Michelle,
You helped me several days ago. I think I am learning!
First, I had to find a grocery store that would take most coupons. Well, I found two, but I have to drive past numerous perfectly good grocery stores to get to them! 🙂
But, it seems as though it will be worth it. Last night, I saved close to 50% of my food bill. We were very excited. If I had figured out about the grocery store coupon policy before then, I would have been able to use the $10 Harvey’s coupon also! I had to throw it away when it expired because I did not know any better!
Well, I am still learning. But with your help, I am well on my way!
Thank you again!
Gail
