Ok –so I have been so busy doing a million other things that I forgot to post the weekly totals. This was a slow shopping week–so I spent next to nothing OOP. I KNOW I will make up for it this coming week–have you seen all the deals? I have the upcoming CVS and Rite Aid deals posted on I Heart Saving Money and will have Walgreens up in a bit–there are MAJOR deals everywhere starting on Sunday! I have yet to shop the new Publix ad but I already have a doozie planned! So next week is sure to be a WHOPPER!! I got all three of my $10 Publix gift cards last week so I don’t anticipate any out of pocket expense at Publix for a while!
As for this past week, I spent $3.17 OOP for over $103 worth of products. I lost my CVS receipt so my actual saving percentage will be a bit off as I will just use the sale price of the items. It really doesn’t matter as my savings percentage this week is 97% savings!

My trip to Publix yesterday was grand. I bought only the BOGO products that I had coupons for and saved a great deal. The best deal was the pasta, BOGO, so I purchased 6 boxes and had two coupons for 1.00 off three boxes. Final cost was $1.61. I love the BOGO deals at Publix.
Hi I have a question regarding the 3/10 publix gift certificates everyone is getting as well as you.
I heard that the receipt totals needed to be 50 after coupons then I have heard after coupons. What is your experience with this.
Sorry flubbed that post. What I meant to say is there are different stories on the message boards on whether or not the 50 total is before or after coupons. Since you have received your gift cards just wondering how your receipts looked when you mailed them in.

I sent in 3 receipts–the OOP combined was much less than $150 as I (of course) used a ton of coupons. But I definitely had over $150 of items purchased. The “your savings section” said I saved over $150 on one reciept alone. I sent mine in as there was confirmation that the $150 was before Q’s. So –as long as you purchase $50 worth of products and purchase the correct items–you CAN use Q’s to reduce the OOP and you will be set for the gift card! 🙂
