I had a bad experience with the Publix I normally go. They are very anal about competitor coupons now and it makes me not want to go there with all of my coupons. They took me FL coupon for diapers, but they have cracked down on couponers big time there. It took me twice as long to go through the line because she wanted to scan every coupon after the item it matches. I had to stand there while she went through my enormous stack of coupons. I apologized to the people behind me and am still tempted not to go back there because I’m afraid of what they’re going to tell me next. Should I talk to the manager?

I am from Florida, and I love to shop at Publix. The same incident that you had I had it one of the Publix store in Panam City; however, I did not get discouraged. I try to shop with less amount of coupon, and I look for a young and friendly cashier.
Hey Michelle…the Daisy Sour Cream coupon up there is $1/1. I just printed those and I don’t see anywhere on that particular coupon where it says you gotta buy 2.

I noticed at the Publix where me and a friend were shopping that they were getting kinda picky too. I go to a different Publix now and the customer service is awesome! I also use less coupons at a time because I do smaller orders.
I’m new to using competitor coupons. Will Publix also accept FLIPS and Harvey’s for store brand items? For example, $1 of 2 Food Lion Sour Cream — could I buy Publix sour cream and use the coupon? Thanks!

Some store will allow you to use the coupon on their house brand…make sure to ask your store their policy on this!
