Hey Meghan! Thanks for the advice! Unfortunatly my stores don’t take them BUT if you live anywhere near a Doris they have $5/50 as well! You are super awesome for reminding me and you are right! I will only be paying $18.70! Hehehehe! OMGosh I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE PUBLIX THIS WEEK! Thanks cmchilton!! 🙂
Good deal on breakfast! Cookie crisp will be bogo and you can use 2 $1/1 coups from better at home and get 2 boxes for $2.00 AND you can combine 2 $1.00 off o.j. wyb 1 general mills cereal from better at home booklet AND stack with 2 -.75 off o.j. blinkies! O.j. is on sale this week 2/$6.00 so you can get 2 boxes of cookie crisp and 2 o.j.’s for $4.50!
Quick Question for the OJ, The $1 off OJ WYB GM Cereal, Can you not use two on one? Im for some reason am under the impression that you can altho now it doesnt make sense.
My brain is going into coupon overload ;D
I am drawing a blank. . .what is the one page flyer listed under the Dove Chocolates?
Kim: Sometimes Publix or Other Companies just put out a Single Page ad that Stores are supposed to put out, Just a normal piece of glossy paper with a ad of on it, most times with a coupon on it.
Hope that explains it!
Rosemary,
Where did you get the better at home books? I’m new to this and would love to get some of the items you mentioned. I have a better at home one page book that has the $1 off meat with hamburger helper and the free shopping bags but I don’t have any of the other coupons.
Question: The ad states that ground chuck will be the essential item for $1.99/lb, not ground beef. Is this correct? Not sure if the $1/1 ground beef Publix Q wyb HH will work on this deal or not. Anyone know for sure?
ground chuck is a type of ground beef so I think it is a good match!
Hey Meghan! Reg: O.J. If you get 2 boxes of the cookie crisp you can use 2 of the $1/1 Cookie crisp coups in the better at home booklet. Then you can use 2 of the $1/1 o.j. (the coup is 1/1 o.j. wyb 1 gm cereal) found in the other better at home booklet. Since the 1/1 o.j. is a Publix q you are able to stack with 2 manuf -.75 off o.j. blinkie. OH- AND you can also get a FREE shopping bag as well since you are buying 2 gm products (the cookie crisp cereal). This coup is also in the better at home booklet. I hope this helps!
I found a IP for Musselman’s apple sauce. I don’t know if it is a match though but either way it is for $1/1 and even if it’s not a match it can make for some cheap apple sauce. I hope it is o.k. to put the link here. It is http://www.musselmans.com/blogs/
Hi Everyone, How many $1 off 1 package of ground beef coupons do you think Publix will let us use per transaction?
Thanks!
Jennifer
Jennifer- It should be for every HH you buy you should be able to match qaunity per qaunity. Ask your Customer Service to Make Sure!
I have a question- I’m looking at my better at home booklet and it does not have the $1/1 meat coupon. I’m in Florida…is anyone else missing this coupon? I’m trying to get everything together for Rosemary’s awesome scenario!
Rosemary, I am new to this but I am wondering how you can do such a big transaction if the Better at home booklet states limit one purchase per coupon per customer. I am confused help!
Thanks!
There’s a coupon for $1 off Nestle Toll House Refrigerated cookie dough at
http://www.verybestbaking.com/promotions/free/coupon.aspx
This’ll make for some cheap cookies!!
If you found the Celebrating Hispanic Heritage flyer in your store there is a $1/2 Ragu and a $2/1 Ponds. That should make the ponds products pretty inexpensive.
Hey All! Lots of good ideas this week! Help me out with the books, ima little confused…what is the Live Well Feel Well P&G booklet? Is that the one from over the summer? and if so does anyone know where I put that? Hey Rosemary, what is the other Better at Home booklet? There were two of those? Thanks for any help!!
Hi Christine,
There are two Better at Home booklets: (1) the small one the size of a large index card, and (2) the large one that was in the newspaper a couple of weeks ago. Hope this helps!
Jennifer
I’ve looked thru both Better At Home booklets I have & there’s not a $1/1 Cookie Crisp Q!!All I find is the $1/3 Q!!
Hey ladies!
There are 2 actual Better at home “BOOKLETS”. I found both of them at my store. They are both orange and blue. One is a single page fold out that is folded similar to a greeting card and has 6 coups inside. The front of it has a picture of hamburger helper & the little glove guy and says: SAVE $1 on ground beef, etc. This book contains all PUBLIX q’s (These coupons inside can also be found at: http://www.clickcallmail.com).
The second Better at home “BOOKLET” is a flip up style. It says: Smart Ideas Plus $20 in Savings Inside. It has sections labeled for “breakfast”, “brown bag”, “Dinner”, “Desserts” with the MANUFACTURER coupons in each section.
There is ALSO the insert from the newspaper BUT it does not have all the same coupons and the values are lower. For example: 1/1 cookie crisp is ONLY in the Better at Home Booklet that has the MANU coupons.
I hope this helps to clear up any confusion that everyone is having!!!!
Hi I saw on tv that Publix will be taking donations for Georgia flood victims. Perhaps we can use our couponing to help them out. I have copied the items that are most in need for those who want to help out.
Most Needed Food Items
•Peanut Butter
•Canned Tuna
•Canned Beans
•Canned Soups, Stews and Pastas
•100% Fruit Juice
•Canned Fruits and Vegetables
•Macaroni and Cheese Dinners
•Whole Grain, Low Sugar Cereals
That is GREAT information qpnsrfun! I know that designated fire stations are as well but this will make it SUPER convienent! This is the perfect week to donate if you are financially able to do so! Michelle just reported a great peanut butter and green beans and fruit deal and on top of all the low cost/free soup and mac & cheese this would be the PERFECT time to help someone in need! Did you find out if they will have a designated space for donations and what counties will be participating?
Also, a Yoplait $1/8 in the Better at Home Manu Coupon booklet.
Any idea the price range on the Healthy Choice meals that are 50%?
just to let Everyone know you can use the FREE Reusable Bag WYB 2 GM Products paired up with the Pillsbury Biscuits and Hamburger Helper, they are General Mills Products!
Kim – The HC frozen meals here in NW Florida range from about $2.50 to about $4.00. HC website has a $2/1 Q you can print, makes them free or even overage.
What is the zip code to access those Smart Source links for the Pillsbury bread products? Thanks
Hi! Does anyone know how much baby powder will cost (the sale price)?
Rosemary – thanks for the tip this week. I don’t know that I would have thought of all of that! I was able to get 20 boxs of Hamburger Helper, 10 pounds of hamburger, 20 tubes of crescent/Grands rolls and 20 cans of Progresso soup for a grand total of $19.00. I would have liked to have had more coupons, that would have brought it down even lower, but $19 for all that is amazing! Thanks again for the heads-up.
Has anyone noticed the signage change at their Publix stores lately? I was in mine this morning (Hermitage, Tn) and noticed on my way out that the signs which until recently read that Publix accepted all competitors coupons. The new signs now read that Publix accepts all supermarket competitor coupons. Are they changing their coupon policy so that they will no longer accept walgreens and target coupons?
Where do you guys live? I live in Orlando, FL and my ad shows the Publix milk going UP to $3.09/gallon.
Sunni – In Crestview (NW Florida), the Publix here only accepts direct food store competitor coupons, not drug store/pharmacy competitors. They have been doing this for about 5-6 months now. The only direct food competitor is Winn-Dixie. I spoke with a manager about it, and she said that since technically Walgreens and CVS were not grocery stores, they were not technically competitors. I have family in Atlanta, and I know that their Publix does accept CVS coupons, but no Walgreens. I think it is on an individual basis.
Thanks Jen! That is good insight to know. I have been using Target, walgreens and cvs coupons at this location without any issue. I hope that this Publix is not changing because using the non grocery store coupons has been a huge budget helper and the only reason I drive past 3 Kroger stores to go to Publix.
The Johnsons Products will be 2.89 each. Before Qs.
Thanks Meghan!
Sunni – I’m in FL too, and none of the Publix around here take other store coupons anymore, like Target, etc. Unless there is a Super Target near by and it is a Super Target coupon (which the girl at the desk tells me is different from a regular target coupon), so there have been several people that have been upset trying to use their Target coupons and they can’t anymore. I never knew they did it at mine, I was told when I asked a while back that they only took other grocery store coupons, but still other people have been allowed to use Target coupons until a couple of weeks ago, I guess they are getting strict on it now. They have been real funny w/other coupons lately, and scrutinizing them big time. They must be having lots of problems w/fraud or something? Anyway, I haven’t seen any signs posted, but then again, I’m not all that observant, I will look next time I’m there, but yes, I think they are changing, or maybe it is a store by store, or regional option or something, but all of the ones in my county have changed their policy. They do not accept Food Lion (Flips) either, since we don’t have Food Lion’s in FL anymore, at least not my section of FL. Good luck, I hope you still get to use your target coups…I can’t 🙁 Sorry for the novel!
🙁 In Central Florida, the Milk went UP to $3.09 from $2.99. POOEY!!!
Hi Kim,
I just came from Publix, and the cheapest health choice meal at my store was $2.60. 50% off would make it $1.30. 🙂 Hope this helps.
Jennifer
Here’s another bricks for the $1/1 crescent rolls for those of you that missed the campaign posted above.

Hi all I think this is the first time I have posted on this site.
Anyway as far as accepting competitor coupons each publix store is different. Here in Gainesville Fl. we have about 12 Publix stores. Each store has a different policy. It all depends on the store manager, even sometimes the front desk person or cashier. It all depends on whether or not they see the big picture. I used to work for Publix and there was a saying “you can’t give publix away”. Basically you do anything to make the customer happy even if it means giving them a cake free because something minor was screwed up on it. Again though it all depends on who you are dealing with at the store. If the manager is shortsighted and only sees his daily profit and loss statement than they will be more strict. For instance, at one store here they were so strict on coupons it was useless to even try and go there. Recently they put in a new manager and he will take almost coupon you want to bring in. So don’t loss heart. Just follow the rules the store lays out at the time and keep asking. Things change constantly.
Kevin
hey let me get this strait I can use more then 1 coupon from the Q for the hamburger and the biscuits
Amy I live in FL. to I use other store coupons and they take them and I love albertson coupons they always have good coupons last week got hamburger bog2 free and pork chops bog2 and a roast bog2 saved a bundle
Brenda… you use the Albertsons coupons at Publix? That must be pretty good b/c I like the Alb. bog2 deals, but they always seem to jack up the prices on that item.. so if it can be used at Publix, does that work out pretty well??
Karrie aman yes it does works out well I always ask first because some times I cant find the exact thing and they tell me what I can get last week I just went for the meet saved 70 dollars and I love publix meet
In today’s Sunday paper there is a coupon 1.50 off of Cheez-Its! Just wanted to let everyone know!
New high dollar Old El Paso q on the Click.call.mail site- it’s for $1/2 any Old El paso (excluding refrigerated, frozen or soup) – could make for cheap or free with a sale. (You could use it on the meals this week, but I’d wait for something better to come along.) 🙂
In East Orlando FL Publix there is also an in-store coupon for .75/1 Egg Beaters. Stack the $1/1 with it and get them for free!
