Question about the Pace salsa: Isn’t the FLIP a manufacturer coupon? Can those still be stacked?
I do not see this Publix LU coupon in this flier. I am headed out in the a.m. if anyone knows where this is? It’s also not listed under this flier in the booklet page on this site.
Thanks,
Wende

flip is a competitor coupon. it is a food lion printable
jo- i see what you are saying now, it does look like that particular flip is in fact a manu… it seems to me that those 2 coupons shouldn’t be stacked:(
Thanks guys I didn’t notice–all fixed 🙂
Wende–it is actually an older version…last year’s coupons that had no expiration date–I still have 2 left 🙂 Sorry I will clarify in the post!
Thanks Michelle!!
I think Hamburger Helper is 9/13/09 GM not SS.
WOW!!! i JUST GOT 16LBS OF HAMBERGER AT PUBLIX. ROSEMARY’S DEAL WORKED LIKE A CHARM. THEY TOOK ALL 16 Q’S FOR IT. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, PUBLIX. OOP $23.19
Can’t find the New England coffee printable!!Click on print which brought up the Red Plum Q’s but there wasn’t one for the coffee!!BTW,the Del Monte Q is still on there but when I try to print it says it expired!!Why doesn’t Red Plum remove it if it’s not available?
The crescent rolls are a tiny package that holds 4, not the normal package. I bought 2 at the Publix in Duncan, SC and had 2 $1 off coupons. Usually, there is no problem at that store but today Jonathon, my cashier said that the language on the coupon “one per purchase” meant I could only use one coupon. I really think Publix needs to work on educating the cashiers. I told him it was one per can, not one per entire purchase and that if it were then it would read “one per transaction.” He said there is no such phrase as one per transaction. I tried to friendly about the whole thing and luckily, the manager, Laurie seemed to agree with me. Stores, please make sure that the cashiers do not needlessly give customers a hard time. This was at store number 543.
Hi Amy – when they try to say that it’s one per “purchase” i always say “Yes, and how many am I purchasing?” Usually they see your point and take the coupons 🙂
There is a .55/1 Q for PACE Picante Sauce in Campbell’s ‘Nourish Your Family with Money-Saving Meal Ideas’ booklet that I found at my Publix store. Exp date is 12/31/09. I will go back to the store and pick up a couple more booklets. Just in time for BOGO deals.
Amy-I’ve been having the same problems at my local Publix(Dallas,GA).I was told today when I asked for the new P&G pink flyer that I can only have 2!She said 2 flyers per customer was the limit!!My store will not put them out U have to ask for them!!I’ve decided that everytime I see a different person at customer service,I’ll ask for 2 more that way they won’t know I already got my 2!!That’s a shame because our food bank is empty & I’m trying to get as many good deals as possible so I can donate!But,with them limiting the coupon booklets,I won’t b able to get much!!!Sometimes the cashiers act like the money u save comes out of their pockets & act sort of rude to me!!I’m seriously considering changing to another store because of it!!
Hey everyone 🙂 Just a heads up to anyone who played the Pace Salsa game a while back. If you won a $4.00 coupon, this deal may be a little bit better for you 🙂
Pace Salsa BOGO 2.79
Buy 4
Use -4.00/1 MQ from Pace Game
Use 3 MQ’s -$.50/1; $1/1; $.75/2; $.50/2; $.40/2 from 08-30-09 SS
Use 2 FLIPS $1.00/1
Total = 5.58
Coupons = -$9.00 (if you use 3 of the $1.00/1 MQ’s)
Up to $3.42 money maker 🙂
Or you could add a few more sets and add coupons accordingly…either way, GREAT deal!
Georgia…I see your point if you are donating and I commend you for doing that but the problem with that is if someone or several people who donate takes the majority or in some cases all the coupons then that leaves none for people like me who do donate from time to time from my excess… but mostly coupon to save money on groceries to feed my family…lol..or I’m gonna have to go to those food banks that couponers donate to. Hope you don’t take this as an insult because I don’t mean it that way. Just wanted you to see it from another view.
Thanks to the ladies who clarify the “one per purchase” statement… I run into that ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLl the time at Target and lately at one of my CVS’s…. I am going to use that phrase for sure!!!!!!!
Money Maker on Dr Pepper 2 Liters

I saved %87 at Publix tonight with the help of your website. You can see the details of my shopping trip at daughterofprudence.wordpress.com, if you’d like. Thank you so, so much for your wonderful matchups every week!
I couldn’t see the coffee q either and went directly to New England’s site. Fill out a form and it will take you to the red plum q.
Benz1968… cheers to you! thank you for your most obvious point for those of us who like you are just trying to save money and feed our families. In this past week I have been to four different publix stores trying to make good on the sale with coupons and find the mysterious coupons that publix puts out. The shelves are empty as well as the coupon holders. I have spoken with several employees and a manager of a couple of these stores and the manager became outright upset at the mention of coupons. Not at me, but as he explained, whenever they put coupons out for everyone, a few regular people who seem to know when the coupons are put out, always manages to be the first ones to take “greedy” handfuls of what should be enough for everyone who frequents his store on a regular basis. They know who the “abusers” are (his word not mine) because every time there is a sale, these same people come in with arm loads of coupons and clean out the shelves. He has been getting more and more reports of complaints about the empty shelf spaces from his regular non coupon customers that whenever they go to buy a particular item, it’s gone. He said that the (again I quote him) “selfishness of these few coupon abusers is wreaking havoc for everyone as the regular customers are having to take their business elsewhere because this problem has increased tremendously in the last few months.” He went on to say that “the coupons that publix puts out is a courtesy for everyone, not financial aid for a few. But because of all the problems, his store is reviewing their coupon policy to make changes.” He didn’t say what kind of changes, but it won’t be helpful as it has been. I’m with you in not trying to be mean here, but common sense and respect toward others really needs to be practiced or we all will be out in the cold with no coupons.
I went to my publix (Alabaster, AL) today and the Pillbury Crescent rolls were not tagged as being included in the 10/$10 sale. They were also not ringing up! Just a heads up to check your receipts, they had to override my ticket!
I just want to defend myself here & say that I’m not one of the ones who takes handfuls of booklets. I too have had to go to 3 or 4 diff. stores to find a booklet!I’m just trying to save money & feed my own family as well,& when I can,I like to help those less fortunate!
I am new to this site (and a single man). I really appreciate the effort that goes into making this site work. I have a question about money-maker deals and what everyone’s experience is. I tried the $2/1 Healthy Choice coupons backed up against the 50% off sale in this week’s super deals. However, the store would only let the items be free (not bad, I guess) and would not apply the extra $$ to other items on the bill. However, I would think the store would get the face value for the coupons – thus the store makes money on the deal (granted, I do get the meals for free).
So what is everyone’s experience. A coworker went to a different Publix and got money back. Did I just pick the wrong store or did my coworker get a break?
MrK – it is my experience that you buy a “filler” item when you are purchasing other items that are considered “money makers” or that give overage. I have never had a problem using a manufacturer coupon that gave me overage when I had other items to absorb that cost – especially if I am using one coupon and not stacking a store coupon with a MQ. I hope you have better luck next time!
I wanna share my “coupon experience”!
I signed up at this coupon site and get real benefit by using the free coupon codes on it.
