Duncan SC store only taking $4/4 on cereal, Nature Valley products, Pillsbury Cookie dough and Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits. Seems this came from corporate.
I purchased 4 Wanchai Ferry dinners on the clearance yesterday (2/4.39) and had 4 $1.10 coupons. But how do I find the $4 coupon so I can take it back to the store and get my refund?
this coupon will be available in the ad that starts tomorrow.
at my store, the 4 ct biscuits and cresents were 4oz, so they don’t qualify for the publix coupon.
So its not just cereal? If not will the pillsbury cookies qualify?
The warm delights do not meet the size requirement, but the BC muffin mix in the pouch does and they are .99 so that makes them free with the in-ad coupon. Remember the size has to be at least 5 oz.
I asked at the CS counter at my store if the Q was good for just cereal, or any GM item, and the cashier seemed shocked that I even questioned it. She said since it didn’t mention any specifics, it was good for any GM item. She called the assistant manager over to be sure, who in turn called over the general manager, who said that yes, as far as he was concerned, it was good for $4 off ANY 4 GM products. I was able to get 4 Pillsbury Simply cookie dough ($8.00), use 4 $1.25 Qs (down to $3), and then took $4 off for $1.00 overage. I think I’m going to go back tomorrow and do that again! I’m in northwest FL.
just a suggestion: Before shopping at publix this week please make sure to go here and print this first page if you plan to take advantage of the $4/4 general mills products coupon (Unless you plan on using it on straight GM items!)
If the brands you are interested in aren’t listed on that page make sure to print the page that lists the item so you can prove to publix the item is a general mills item.

Sorry I missed the weight on the Warm Delights and the Small Size Biscuits. I did check most weights – but please point out anything else that I missed. I did not check the weight on the pie crusts though- so I am not sure on that one. Seeing all the posts here though, I am not so sure how this Q will work out. I plan on asking management before I do my shopping so I am not disappointed or surprised if there are restrictions.

I have been out of town and saw this awesome deal Michelle! I called my favorite Publix yesterday prior to doing my shopping today and asked about the coupon. The manager told me “if the coupon says “any” then that it what it means & of course they will honor it for all GM and Nature Valley items and subsidories.” I told her that there has been alot of stores denying the coupon for these items and she was shocked and said managers did not have the right to impose opinions on a Publix coupon. She also pointed out that the picture did not matter due to the fact that they could not picture EVERY GM or Nature valley item. I hope this helps anyone. I say that since there is a Publix on almost every corner that if one store says no….go to the next one down the road. I believe that Publix is run by some pretty smart cookies and that if they meant ONLY cereal they would have printed ONLY cereal on the coupon. Especially since the add is looked over probably a 100 times for approval prior to printing and I am pretty sure that if it was a mistake on someone’s part it would have been seen and fixed by the upper “powers that be” at Publix.

P.S. Non-Publix Deal I got yesterday that some of you might be interested in (at Kroger)- Ziplock Freezer vacuum bag refills were $1.59- I bought 6 and used 3 $1.50 off 2 coupons. I also got back 2 $2 coupons. This makes each box only $0.17 each!!
My coupon may be differnt but ya’ll are saying that they have to honor it because it says ANY General Mills product but the one in my ad sayd Assorted Variaties. Does some of the ad’s state ANY? Thanks!
If you go to publix.com you can print the $4 coupon from there. Just view the weekly ad (you’ll need to enter your zip), then go to the ‘coupon’ tab to print.
WOO-HOO! I just got back and had to let ya’ll know that it is confirmed that the coupon is for ANY general mills! My manager actually called his DM and he confirmed it is for ****ANY**** GM or NV. I had called yesterday but soooo did not need any suprises at the register so I double checked!

HI Monalisa! My store is top notch at keeping huge quantities but when I do need super large quantities I place my order via telephone. My Publix gets deliveries on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and if I can get my request in my 10 a.m. the day prior I can usually have it the next delivery day and sometimes I can get it in 24 hours. I just placed my order for the cookie mixes & muffin & cornbread mixes and potatos for my holiday donations via the telephone. I find that ordering is soooo much easier as I do not have to push an overfilled cart through the store and stand in the checkout and have each item rang up individually. Orders can be picked up at customer service and they are still in the sealed factory cases. The cashier at customer service has the ability to ring up in quantity (example 1.99 x 20, etc) so it is super fast and easy!!!
Also, this is a great way to shop if you cannot get to the store and there is a sale item you really want you can call your store and actually purchase the item over the phone with your bank card and they will have it ready for you to pick up. When you get to the store you can collect it at customer service and they will let you do a “return” and then use your coupons. It is FABULOUS and super FAST! Perfect for those rush days when you just don’t have the time to shop!!!!

how many of the $4/4 GM coupons can you use at one time? I sometimes have trouble at Publix. It depends on who’s there. Sometimes I can use more than one store coupon, sometimes not. Ex: the maybelline cps. Once I used 5. The next time they would only let me use 1, but then he changed his mind and let me use the 4 cps.
It always seems that they only let me use 1. I can sometimes get away with 2 or 3, but if I try more than that, it never flies.
I called the Corporate office and got marketing and she said the $4/4 Q is for Cereal on sale only and Nature Valley bars because it’s next to the pcture of those things on sale. Now she’s passing me off to the district manager. I think I will just go in there and pay with my internet printable publix Q and wing it.
BTW if any of you like ALL Small & Mighty, the One Stop On Store Q expires tomorrow, OCT 31. Right now its $2.99, minus $1 Q, only $1.99 a bottle!
Every Publix I have gone to in the Hoover, AL area has said they will only accept the coupon for cereals and NV products. At least we can still get some good deals on the nut clusters! I’m going to see if any of the others will accept for Pillsbury or other GM products, but it seems as if they are being pretty strict.
My Publix was happy to accept the coupon for any GM product this evening, and believe me I tested the waters! Then to sweeten the deal the Progresso breadcrumbs have a Try me Free, mail in rebate! OH my… I do not have the storage for all this. On the other hand the kids think I am the greatest mom ever for all the cookie dough. Does anyone know if you can freeze the pre portioned cookie dough? Mine expires in Feb. 10 and I doubt we will have it around very long, but worth asking.
My Publix has been AWESOME so far! I have saved a little under 900.00 so far and mu o.o.p has been less then 20.00! My donation pile is enormous and I still have one large order left to pick up that will cost me absolutly $0.00 o.o.p. I am super happy it is the end of the month so I can drop off my donations because I have absolutly no where to put it all and I have been stacking it up in plastic bins. I am super sorry to hear that there are alot of people having troubles with this coupon. My Publix goes by the wording on the coupon and not the picture. I mean it is silly to think that just because they pictured cheerios that it is not good for other things. Seriously, if that were the case …why not include a picture of granola as well on the coupon??????
DEAR MARGARET: Good morning to you! Yes, you can totally freeze the cookie dough. That stuff is good in the fridge for a long time but I freeze mine because the kiddies have a habit of moving items in the fridge and the dough gets smashed flat. lol!

My store is allowing this coupon on ANY General Mills or Nature Valley products, and for as many deals as I wanted. I asked at the customer service desk before I shopped to be sure. They almost acted like it was a silly question…but I wanted to make sure before I reached the check-out and got a surprise I wasn’t ready for!

I used 6 today and the manager was right there. She also told me that they are letting you use Target and Food Lion coupons again. It was a great day at Publix today!!
I was allowed “as many as I wanted,” according to customer service, but the cashier told me “I don’t think that’s right” and was very hostile toward me after I handed my coupons over. I didn’t know you could do Food Lion coupons there – thanks for the tip!
