It seems that every week I think things will slow down and I will have more time to get things done…but it never seems to happen! My meal plan Monday is a day late–but I really like doing this as it keeps me trying new recipes! Speaking of new recipes…if anyone has any ideas for all the Hillshire Farm Polska Kielbasa I have I would love some ideas 🙂
Here is what I have planned for the week:
Taco night (did this last night as I was feeling lazy!)
Lasagna Roll Ups (Beef & Tomato Version)
Crock Pot Limas & Cornbread (requested by my husband)
Jaralea’s Succotash (thanks for the email!), Potatoes & Rolls
Marinated Pork Steaks, Cabbage, Rice Side & Frozen Veggie
Meat & Bean Burritos (Amanda’s Meal Deal from last week)
I love to make Red Beans & Rice with polska kielbasa. I will post the recipe when I make later this week, but fry up the sausage and make the red beans & rice according to the directions. It’s delicious!
There is a kielbasa recipe in the latest Publix Family magazine. I tried it a few weeks ago and it was enjoyed by both the hubby and myself!

Polish Kielbasa is a quick meal fav around our house. I use it with cajun rice mixes like Zaterains. I also like to slice it and simmer it in BBQ sauce. And I even used it instead of little smokies in pigs in a blanket… just had to cut it up.
I used some of the sausage for spanish bean soup.
-2 32 oz boxes of chicken broth
-3 cans garbanzo beans
-2 cans of diced potatos
-1 rope of sausage sliced
-1 yellow onion rough chopped
-1 packet of Vigro spanish seasoning mix
cook in the crock pot for 1 hr.
Fast. Easy. Yummy!
Winter Harvest Casserole is my favorite way of using Polska Kielbasa. I posted the recipe here:
