Amanda emailed to let me know that the Pillsbury Cresents $1/1 coupon has reset PRINT–I am going to need some recipes for all these Pillsbury items that will soon be in my fridge 🙂
I know! Last time I got these for free, I ended up throwing them away because I didn’t realize they expired so quickly! I felt terrible letting it go to waste. This time I’m only buying a few, and I’m going to find some recipes to use them with. =) I usually make homemade bread, so I don’t use them that often just by themselves.
Ladies Ladies…Never fear! I’ve got recipes for you! They are going to be coming up this week! Try to get crescents with good dates on the because a couple are Halloween recipes!

Apple Dumplings 350 degrees/40 minutes
1 can Crescent rolls separated into 8 triangles
1 Granny Smith apple peeled cored and cut into 8 slices
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Wrap roll around each slice of apple with the point on the outside and place in pyrex dish. Bring next 3 ingredients to a boil and pour over dumplings. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Add chopped pecans or walnuts if desired. Bake. Serve with ice cream or whipped cresm.

I love to make flaky grilled cheese sandwiches with the cresents. Unroll the cresents, leave 2 connected so they are a rectangle, place a slice a cheese on the side/center leaving room to fold over the other side and seal the edges, place them in one of these http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-WM-SW2-Sandwich-Grill/dp/B00006F2MD/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1254761633&sr=1-3 and cook till done, 2 cresents make one sandwich (I love love love these with the buttery cresents!) It may posibly work with a similar grill press type appliance but not sure.
