In my 10-18-09 SS (I think…) there was a Target coupon for $1/1 CoverGirl that also expires on 11/30/09 so I was able to use three – a Target, Publix and Manufacturer!
I used the “buy a foundation get a face product” Q, a $1 cover girl Q and 2 of the $2 Publix ones. The foundation was 3.19, the blush was 4.19 and with my coupons, I paid like 19 cents for both. The mngr. had to be called because I had more Q’s than items, and the make up ones went thru last- thus her catching the fact that they were going to pay me for the make up. She said “no”, so I took back one of the Publix Q’s and paid the 19 cents. Still not bad at all!
yes i came acrossed this deal as well, however when i went to go do this deal the first time it was fine because i paid all of the tax and even .99 however next day i went i got a little crazy and was using this deal like 11 times and lets just say i didnt realize the overage was so damm much i would have gotten some diapers or something else… got alot for like 4.39 and publix paid 7 of the 11 bucks taxs… i just love me some publix because make up is not cheap and i have to look good beings i am getting older and have kids lol
I bought CG clean foundation 3.19, Trueblend powder $4.39, Eye Kit $2.99, Eye Enhancers $4.99 and used “buy a foundation get a face product” Q, a $1 CG Q, $2.50/2 eye shadow Q and (4) $2 Publix Q. My total was $0.84 for 4 CG products!!
I think people need to be careful not to take advantage of Publix or they’re going to stop doubling and/or taking competitor coupons. If you find a great deal buy only two or maybe three.
I bought over $30 of makeup today, and it was all free with all the coupons, I even got some overage. My total before coupons was $70, but after coupons it was $12.89. I was so excited and the cashier was excited too, he could not believe it…… Love the deals! Thank you for posting them…..
My store let me do a “triple play” so I got to use a mfr q, Publix q, and Target q. I got 3 TruBlend foundations and 3 Wet Slick glosses all for free. 😀 I had actually forgotten completely about the make up deal and didn’t do it til last night (thank goodness my store was super nice and let me use the expired mfr q’s – and I checked first before even trying to check out) I would have gotten more, but like I said, I forgot all about it and just gone in to get some more chicken (20 lbs for under $10!). I love Publix oh so much.
