The Pulix around me (have several in the county since the warehouse is here), doesn’t allow to use 2 coupons like that on one item. Had the same thing for candy around Halloween and could only use 1 of the coupons. Plus if your item is $2 and your coupon is $3, you just get it for free. They don’t give you that extra $1 as a credit. You just simply lose it. What can you do…
This website has saved my family soooo much money. We have had a very hard year and didnt qualify for any assistance, but now are garage is so full we are able to help other people in need when five months ago I was picking up a food box from a local pantry. Thank you so much. Today I got $50 worth of stuff for $1.08 which includes the double Sunday paper.

Can’t print the Zantac Q on either of my computers!! It says it’s printing,then a message pops up saying Smartsource Application Warning-make sure ur printer is on & has paper!! Does this happen to anyone else? Sometimes it does this & I have NO IDEA why or how to fix it!! It always seems to do it with the best Q’s also!! I really could’ve used these Q’s,because my husband & I both take Zantac!!! This Sucks!!!
Tabby, I have found that one of our stores won’t allow overages either. However we have done overages at that store, you just have to get the right cashiers, and make sure you do it when you are buying several other items.
We are blessed too, to have about 10 Publix stores that we pass in our weekly travels. So we know that if we are using overages, to do it at Publix..es?
I don’t know if this helps, but the teenage cashiers are often easier to get the overages past as well.

I just went to my Publix here in Pensacola and they would not let me use both the coupons on the 4.79 box because it exceeded the amount of the item…so I had to purchase the larger box that cost 9.79…still, that is $8.00 in savings!

The coupon amount seems to have changed! I printed a $5 off one a couple days ago and did the deal today- worked great! But I looked at the site again just now, and the amount has been lowered to $2. Oh well! At least I scored on it once!
We should all try to do what is right and follow the store’s rules. I don’t look fo ryoung cashiers becasue they are easy to pull one over on. I try to have all my coupons situated before I go and I like the younger girls because they are faster, don’t hassle you, and don’t look at every little thing as if you are some criminal. I did have one young girl who freaked out so I avoid her now. We are just trying to save money and most of us try to follow the rules. If the overages are not allowed and we know it, then we should not try it.
I don’t “search out” the young cashiers to “pull one over” on them. I shop at the same Publix every week. I’ve learned which cashiers to avoid because they think they know everything. Even when the manager tells them to use both coupons, etc., they will want to argue. It’s crazy. I had one argue with the manager over a 1 cent overage! 1 cent! I told him, “It was okay. To price match it.” He said, “No. The milk is Free w/ the purchase of ANY 3 cereals.” In the end, he just gave up arguing with her and walked away. I just rolled my eyes and paid. Seriously, if I talked to my manager like that, I’d be fired. So, yes, I usually go through the lines with the young men. They are polite. And, they love to announce how much you saved. Give me a young black man over an old white woman any day. Sorry if this offends anyone, just the way I feel. P.S. I LOVE this site!! Thanks for all the help.
