I tried to price the Kim & Scott’s pretzels today at Publix but couldn’t find them. I wanted to see what the regular price is. I was in a hurry so couldn’t track down a manager. Anyone have any idea how much these regularly sell for?
The Kim & Scott’s Pretzels are $4.99 at my stores so 99 cents for 2 boxes!
Is the BeneVia in the drink aisle? Or somewhere with health/vitamins? Thanks!
Benevia is in the Health & Beauty Aid aisle….where the Boost, Glucerna, Special K and other health drinks are. I personally like the Blueberry/Pomegranite and the Pineapple ones. They are a bit strong for me so I add some water to weaken them down a bit. Not bad tho….but the first two ingredients are water and sugar….not what I would expect to see in a “health drink”.
The Bob Evans potatoes will be $0.30 each instead of $.60, even better than you thought!
The Kim & Scott’s Pretzels are $4.99 regular price at my store.
Thanks Sally–that is why I should always use a calculator…distractions are rampant in my house and trying to do math at the same time is not a smart thing 😀
I have been unable to print the $1 coupon for Kim and Scotts pretzels. Any suggestions?
I’m confused! I have 11/15 Smartsources-and I don’t see the $5 benevia coupon in that-is there another insert I should be looking in? 11/14 was a Saturday!
FYI I would pass on the Tollhouse cookie dough. It’s being recalled for ecoli and my friend and her whole family were extremely ill after Thanksgiving with food poisoning from the that dough. No one wants that!
http://www.fda.gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm168012.htm
However, after a plant shutdown, an investigation, and a cleanup, Nestlé is now using main ingredients from new suppliers and is making the cookie dough again. These newly made products are not part of the ongoing recall and are not associated with any illness outbreaks or known contamination. Consumers can identify the newly made products by looking for labels with shields that say “new batch” on them; these batches are not part of the current recall.
Kelly, the coupons are regional so you may not have gotten them in your area.
For the Kim & Scott’s pretzels, it refers to a Publix Coupon. I don’t have one in my Green Flyer. Does anyone know where this is?
Where do you get the Publix Winter Savings coupons? They are not out at our stores yet.
The last time we had Tollhouse cookie dough here in Florida they were $2.89 BOGO, but they’ve hiked it up to $3.49, along with the Post cereal at $4.41. I think it’s time to move a little further north (but within range of a Publix, of course)!
I don’t see any benevia coupon in the green advantage flyer???
Does anyone know what to do when you try to print coupons from coupons.com and it says “you must be an administrator to install the coupon printer”. I am an administrator and I had my computer savy tec look at my computer and he says it’s their server. I have tried to call, e-mail over and over again to no avail. Any ideas?!?!?!?? help!!!!
The cookie dough is $3.39 here as well. Still cheap, but free would be so much nicer (not that I don’t still have to pay lovely tax on it!).
I bought the Fisher Snacks that were BOGO $1.79 in last week sales. I had 2-$1 MQ and I got a beep on the second coupon. The cashier told me that the coupon value was greater than the sale value (.21 cents overage). In the past any overage i had was subtracted from my bill, all my overage has always come on internet coupons(as they are usually higher then Newspaper coupons). This was my first overage experience using insert coupons and they wouldn’t take the coupon for the free item. I bought 2 items for $.79 as oppose to free and $.21 cents in overage. They anyone else had a problem with these coupon.
Maria My Publix I got the overage. No beeping going on here.
I live in Florida. We have all the rules and restrictions here. But like i said this never happened before. I never had an issue with overage with printable coupons. This time I use the reg. Q and i got a beep.
The lysol $1.00 coupon appears to be dead. Now there is a $0.50 coupon. Anyone have a link for the $1.00 off coupon
Kim and Scott pretzel coupon says there is an error and just a blank screen opens up. Anyone else having this problem?
Just printed out 2. It’s in PDF format, so each Q is identical. Hope the Q police don’t think I’m copying them! Also note that’s it’s HUGE! Take up the whole page!
Susan, I had the same problem…updated my Adobe to newest version and had no problems. Hope that helps!
Maria,
I live in Florida also. I purchased 4 of the Fisher snacks a few days ago and the register also beeped for my purchase. The cashier didn’t say anything she just called over a manager who had to ok each coupon. I’ve been very lucky so far here in Florida. The cashiers have been super friendly and have never given me a problem.
FYI – I got some of those Kim & Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels…the Grilled Cheese were awesome! Haven’t tried the others yet, but if they’re as good as those…ya gotta try them!! Also, they were located near the frozen breakfast items (waffles, pancakes, bagels, etc.) in my store. Not where I expected to find them.
I don’t see the Bob Evans hash browns in my Jacksonville, Fl ad…is it not carried here?
Lori – it is on the same page as the Sirlion Tip Roast in the ad. I also live in Jax.
To those of you in FL, I am curious. Have you ever had a problem using two coupons on Publix BOGOs, since one rings up totally free? I can’t find an official policy that applies to FL. Thanks! : )
Jen,
No there is no problem using 2 Qs on the BOGO items unless the cashier notices that the Q would result in overage. Otherwise, its fine because they’re being reimbursed the amount anyway.
I am new to this and am not familiar with all the abbreviations, such as SS and RP. Is there a place that has a “key?”
Minah – They refer to the coupon inserts that come in Sunday’s paper. SS refers to SmartSource, RP is Red Plum. Procter & Gamble has one (PG) that comes out once a month, but the other 2 are usually every week.
Jen,
I live in South Florida and I have never had a problem using two coupons with BOGOs. I’ve been couponing for about 9 months now and I’ve pretty much always had a positive experience with my coupons.
I live in Georgia and I’ve never had a problem with Publix not accepting a coupon because the value exceeds the price. The product becomes free and the difference is always subtracted from my total so I come out ahead. I have had this problem with Ingles not accepting the coupon because the value exceeds the price and in that case I had a small number of grocery items so I noticed it did not deduct my coupon so the manager did an override so the product was free but I guess the store may have benefited from the additional savings on the coupon because I didn’t and if I wouldn’t of noticed then no coupon discount would have been deducted. I normally try to just shop at Publix so I will not have that kind of problem.
I had a major problem with overage at the Publix on Hwy 119 in Alabaster, AL. The customer service rep was actually rude. She said “We’re not paying you to buy our groceries.” – even though my bill would have been over the amount anyway. The manager then came over and started questioning my coupons (which were printed in color, mind you). He said, did you copy these coupons? We can’t take copied coupons. I was floored. It really made me feel like a common criminal. I said, “These coupons are in color – printed directly from the SmartSource, RedPlum, and Coupons.com sites.” He still said, “Well, copying coupons is not allowed in this store.” I have never had an experience like that in a Publix. I just wanted to share my story for anyone in Alabaster, AL. The Publix that is about 8 minutes down the road in Helena, AL is much nicer and I would recommend that anyone in that area go there instead. The manager even gave me a high-five on my savings last time I went there. YOU ROCK Helena, AL Publix!!!
Kellie and Shon, thanks for the input. Only been doing this a couple months now, and most of my Publix experiences here in Central FL have been great. I did have a disgruntled cashier recently who seemed very unhappy with me for saving so much money, but I emailed corporate and got a call back from the store manager who apologized to me. Just want to be sure of policy so I can be confident that I’m within the guidelines. Don’t want any surprises at the register. 🙂
To the person who had the “administrator problem”—it means you have multiple users on your machine there, and must log off, then log back on as the administrator. Mine does the same. We have 3 users set up on our machine at home. Good luck!
ugh! just had a bad experience with shopping at a difference publix than normal…one that wouldnt’ allow overage!! At first she wouldn’t accept the coupons at all… then she accepted them but marcked through each one so that it didn’t exceed the purchase price… not a big deal if I hadn’t specifically bought other items just to absorb the overage… 🙁 feeling a bit ripped off.
All I can say is the woman there…the “assistant manager”, I guess, (heavy set, brown hair and glasses)…..said she was sick and tired of spics and “nigras” coming in da stor….she shoud be sewed…me and my friends hear her say it….
I”m totally new at this and i’m not sure how the coupons work. I mean, I’ve used coupons before but not to the exptent of saving over half of my grocery bill…can someone help me??
