OK I have decided to try something new…I have received many requests to list the price of each item after coupon. I hesitated as I was afraid that more shorthand would cause even more confusion and possibly make the match ups difficult to read…but since so many have asked I am doing a trial run this week.
I have listed the Item Price After Coupon (IPAC) in parenthesis after each coupon. Please note that the IPAC is only for the specific coupon and final price may be less for items where you can also use a store coupon (or competitor coupon).
Please give me some feedback. I would like to know if this would be something you would like to see in future match ups. Best priced items will continue to be listed in the Super Deals post.

I think that you already do so much for us that it is ridiculous to ask you to type up the final price after each and every coupon that you list. I am very greatful that you give us the item’s price and list all the coupons available for that item. I think that it would be an unnecessary step for you to have to type up all the IPAC’s. Thank you for all you do!!
I love IPAC! That will help immensely! Thanks so much for adding it. . .I hope everyone else loves it as well.
The only problem I see is with us Florida odd balls who don’t get double coupons. Not everybody’s IPAC will be the same. Other than that. It is a good idea!
This is just my 2 cents worth. The prices are not always the same in the posted ad here as in my local ad so I always make corrections on my shopping list and then do the math to figure what the price will actually be after price correction and coupons. I think it might be unnecessary extra work on your already FULL plate. I know opinions will vary but that’s just my 2 cents worth. You provide sooo much information already I think I can handle the math. Your are soo kind to think of ways to make this process even easier for us then you already do. Merry Christmas Michelle !! Bless you hon 🙂
I agree with benz1968. I’m in the Columbus area and find that prices here sometimes are higher than what’s listed here. Because prices do vary by region, I always check the publix website while compiling my grocery list and determining my OOP cost.
The idea is a great one, don’t get me wrong, but since there is already a ton of information given and there can be price discrepencies, I think it’s just a little extra work on your part. Sheesh, you gotta leave some work up to us, otherwise you’ll have to start charging for your services!! Just kidding 🙂 Lots of love and Merry Christmas!!
You do an excellent job all the way around! this seems like a lot of extra work for you, maybe just list the final prices on the super deals? that would draw reader’s attention to how low the final price is and that it is indeed a super deal……
I think you do enough work already. The least we could do is figure out our own totals
I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, I’m in FL too but I can always make the necessary adjustments myself when I’m at the store and decide if the price is that much different if I still want to buy it or not (it’s usually only a few cents different price wise, and I know coupons don’t double here, so I can adjust like I said) but it does seem like a lot of extra work for you, don’t want you to be killing yourself to do it, but if it’s easy for you, then I vote to keep it! Love it! Love you and what you do for all of us too! Merry Christmas!
This looks great. Though being a Floridian.. I think our prices are a little different. I’m thinking if it’s too much work for you (you do so much already), we may all be able to figure it out ourselves. 🙂
Merry Christmas!
I agree with benz1968. You are so nice to try to accomodate everyone. But, prices vary, and the coupons I have available may vary. I was already wondering if you have any free time!!! Merry Christmas!
I am so grateful for finding your website. It’s been such a help. I’m in FL and also get thrown off by the doubling and different prices. I benefit from seeing the dates of coupons and matchups. The IPAC seems like extra work for an already fantastic website. It’s the really wacky deals (like the Nivea lip balms + free lotion, all items under a dollar) that I need help with and that you do help us with. Thanks!
Yes, as stated; prices aren’t always the same, FLA & parts GA dont double, Coupon amounts vary in regions. If anything I would prefer the total price paid listed. I know I am going to get 2, as its BOGO, so now I would have to double the single price listed to get a total amount spent for product.
Please don’t make this change permanent!!! Its easy enough to do the math in my head, based on what I know I have coupon wise. If you do please continue to have the non IPAC available.
First, thank you for the site, I recommend it to everyone! But I think this is unnecessary work…and the prices can be diffrent from region to region….Give yourself a break and slet everyone figure out their own math!
Just noticed that the new concept doesnt take into account combining store and mfq coupons…. Love, Love, Love the site as it is. Thanks

Have to agree with the above…I think I like the old way better. Love your website! Thanks for all your hard work!
I love your site and actually link back to yours from mine. I agree with the majority, you provide us all the information we need for coupons and you do so much already! I think it might be unnecessary work. thanks!!!
I think the “IPAC” is a great idea. Even if your price in store is a little bit different, it gives you a ballpark figure to decide whether the deal is a good one or not. I shop with a very active two year old and I can not be calculating and deciding whether something is a good deal at that point. A few cents here or there will not change my mind as to whether or not I should buy it.
I agree with benz1968. You do enough by gathering all the info. I live in Florida so I’m used to adjusting to the non doubling prices anyway. I just think it’s too much for us to ask you to do!
I also concurr that you do an awesome job already and hopefully most of us (on a good day!) can do the math for ourselves!!! Thank you so much for what you do!!!! Your site alone has allowed me to bring my grocery biil for a family of 5 from $200/week down to $40/week in 6 months!!!
I agree with others…I think this is way to much for you to do. I can figure out my own totals. It’s the least I can do considering you provide all of the other information. I love your site and thank you for all you do.
I love that you are willing to do this, but I agree with Amanda. Our prices in FL are often a little off, so I would just leave that IPAC stuff off! You already do so much for us, we don’t want to overwhelm you with these details. Merry Christmas!
Love the effort that you put into the site already. You have helped so many! But, regarding the IPAC idea, I think it’s best for “us” to figure the prices out on our own. It’s good for us to create our own systems and do the work. Because, as so many have already said…You have a very full plate. Thanks so much for what you already do and I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas!!!!
I agree with the previous posts, you do soooo much already, we can handle figuring out our own totals. Maybe next we’ll ask you if you can do our shopping for us? LOL. Seriously though, prices are different everywhere, and some areas don’t double (like us in Florida). So it really seems like this will be helpful to only a very small % of your readers. Thanks so much for the work you do!
I like this way…but I also like having the bottom line best deal: “use MQ and Store Q to pay $.50 per item”.
Thanks for all your hard work!
Appreciate the work that you do!! Leave off the IPAC and save some time for you and your family! Merry Christmas!
Like some have already pointed out, you do enough for us as it is. While the IPAC is nice, it won’t matter to me whether it is there or not. Especially since Publix doubles coupons in some areas and not in others. But I do appreciate very much what you do already.
Love love love this new feature! Like someone else said, you do so much for us already, this is just icing on the cake. Not necessary, but super helpful!
I really don’t think it is necessary and just more work for you. The price depends on many variables as Publix prices differ in states plus Florida doesn’t get to double coupons. I think we should be able to perform simple addition and subtraction.
It’s not necessary – don’t do it!
I am in FL and I really find it helpful, but I appreciate all you do, so only keep it if you want to, I’m sure it’s a lot of work.
Stick with super deals, and what you were doing. Too much work, and it is different for different states. You do too much already, and I dont believe the extra work is that beneficial. Thanks for all that you do! Your site is wonderful.
I love the old way so don’t change it keep up the freat work
Thanks for the new (IPAC) but I have to agree with others – seems like ALOT of work for you, and you already do SO much for us! Have a Merry Christmas!
I appreciate you going to the extra work to put the item price after coupon. Personally, I liked it better without them. I can do the quick math in my head or grab a calculator if need be. I think that the IPAC just makes it harder to read. Thank you for all you do!
I’m with the majority…it’s really not necessary and just puts an additional burden on yourself. You already provide the Super Deals list that gives us the bottom line for the BEST deals each week. I think we can figure out the rest on our own! 🙂 Merry Christmas!!
I personally love seeing the price after coupon. It is a WHOLE bunch of extra work for you however. Maybe if you just listed the IPAC of the one best coupon from each super deal that would be a little easier but still satisfy the masses. 🙂
I don’t see any need for the IPAC. As previously stated (a million times) it’s more work for you. If someone can’t find the final price on their own (it’s not rocket science here) then they shouldn’t be couponing anyway. This is simply 1st grade math, and they should be able to figure it out on their own. Great job, anyway Michelle! 🙂
I prefer the old way – IPAC makes the post too busy and crowded for me. Thanks for all that you already do – you’ve saved my family tons of money!
I agree with Cheri. Even if it is helpful to some, the page is now too crowded with information. I take the time to go through the whole list, do my own calculations, and collect my coupons before I hit the store anyway. This is just more work for you, and you do enough already! IMHO, I would rather you got rid of IPAC and kept up with the Dollar Deals. Merry Christmas!
With the IPAC posts, the page looks very busy and it’s tiring on the eyes! Not to mention tiring on you, too!! Regional coupons, coupon stacking, and store pricing can cause IPACs to vary as much as $1-$4 on an item. That will affect my decision to purchase it or not. If I just go by your IPAC, I might be making a faulty decision. Please stay with the old method. Thanks for trying to please everyone.
My 2 cents is that the IPAC, while helpful, makes for a busy screen. I really like your Super Deals where the best bottom line price is the last row. If I had to vote…I’d choose no IPAC but that is just my preference.
Thanks so much for all you do. It’s great.
Hey Michelle! while you’re at it- can you cut all my coupons and do my grocery shopping for me too?! LOL. Definitely extra work that is not necessary imo. Everyone’s brain need a little exercise!
Seems like a lot more work for you…certainly we can do a little math to figure out prices after all of the work you do for us locating the coupons! I like the Super Deals list myself…
I love seeing the price after coupon. Thank you for going the extra mile, once again! Merry Christmas.
It just makes it confusing with all the match-ups and coupon links. you do so much for us, plus your saving money site. We all have different coupons in our own stash that the prices don’t apply to everyone. I prefer NO IPAC….we can do our own math. thanks though. cheryl
You ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS EXTRA STEP! We should all be fully capable of doing this extra bit of very simple arithmetic in our heads…or on a calculator. There are a lot of differences in pricing in different areas and you’re certainly not going to be able to make everyone happy.
Thank you soooo much for trying this but I really think it makes the post much more jumbled looking. Sit back a take a breather now and then! We appreciate all you do and I love the posts just like they’ve been.
I am grateful for your blog and all the great deals and education you provide. My prices in North Florida differ. I prefer the non-ipac version b/c it’s just too distracting.
If it requires extra work, I say skip it and go back to the old version.
And Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
Merry Christmas Michelle! I am with the majority above…. you do the hard work; we can do our own math!!!! You already do so much, thank you.
Merry Christmas Michelle,Not necessary …you go above and beyond already. Thank you!!
Leave it off. It way much more than you should do. I really like the old way better and if someone cannot do simply subtraction than they arejust being lazy. I really liked the old way and am super glad you started this site! Thanks for all your HARD WORK!!!!
It does make it more crowded and tiring on the eyes. Because fo variations on price and coupon availability, I’d leave it off. Surely we can all do ur own math??? 🙂 You do a super job! Thank you for having the sneak peek posted each monday!! I LOVE that!!!
Thanks for all that you do!!! With your help this Christmas will be a little more merrier for our girls!!! Have a wonderful day with your family! No need for extra work on the IPAC…it’s great the way it is!!!
I agree with everyone, it seems like alot more work and prices seem to be different for so many along with coupon amounts. You already take the ad and break it down with matches for us, if this takes more time I would not do it. I appreciate all you do and everyone else that gives there helpful hints as well. Thanks Michelle for all you do. Merry Christmas to everyone.
I agree that the IPAC is NOT necessary. Thanks for taking the time to try it out though!
I love it, I do that every week so it saves me the time to do it. I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your time and effort into putting this together and sharing this freely with all of us. Thank you so much, you have saved me more money and time than you will ever know!
I vote for leaving it off–we can all add and subtract and really, it’s just more work on you!!!! Merry Christmas–Thanks for all you do!
I vote for leaving it off too! it’s pretty confusing with the new set up- easier without it- especially w/coupon variations and such, i’d be figuring my own prices anyways. Thanks for the trial though!
I love it. I made it through my list in half the time.
Thank you so very much for your help in saving my family money on our grocery list!
Merry CHRISTmas, Denise
I vote for leaving it off too. It’s more confusing and hard on my eyes, plus the prices here in FL. aren’t the same. I have always been able to figure figure out the math. No need for you do all through all that extra trouble. Thank you so much for all you do!!!!
I vote yes-it’s easier to scan through and make my list!
I don’t like this format. It is too confusing. I do appreciate all you do.
Anybody else have trouble with the Snack Factory pretzel coupons? The link worked but it just said, “Please wait…” and then nothing.
I’m in Fl, and it saved me a ton of time, but it seems like it would be way too much more work for you. If it is more work, then I’d leave it off since I’m fine with doing the math myself. Thank you so much for all of your work with this site. You have saved us so much and kept us with food when we might not have had it. Thank you again!
It looks too crowded to me. I can subtract it myself 🙂 But I appreciate you taking the time to try it out!
I think you are beyond generous and sweet to do this but COME ON! I find it appalling that anyone would even THINK of asking you to do more work than you already do! It’s basic adding and subtracting and I just don’t understand why people can’t do that themselves. By the way, I think you are AWESOME!
@Sara – I did have that problem because it’s an IE link and I was trying to print from Firefox. Change the middle portion of the link that reads =vi&o= to =wg&o= and it will work.
Thanks for all the extra work, but the IPAC is really not necessary. I am in Florida also and prices are different so I already would have to refigure, besides that different regions have different prices even within Florida.
I am really excited about the TGIF appetizers going BOGO this week. It is our New Year’s Eve family tradition to have appetizers for dinner that night. My kids look forward to it every year.
Thanks for all that you do for us…your faithful readers/shoppers. Have a blessed New Year celebration!
more match ups: there is a booklet I found in the beer aisle “The Season to Celebrate”
$1/2 Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
$3/4 Nabisco Toasted chips (or Triscuit, wheat thins, or Ritz)
$2/2 Planters
also this week I found:
Free bread (up to $2.50) tear pad wyb lays chips and sun chips
and
A1 tear pad – $3 off beef wyb A1 and Budweiser
hope this helps 🙂
Sara, I’m guessing this is through bricks . . . it never works for me. Always a “please wait” unless it goes through the manufacturer’s sight.
Even if it is easier for us, and I don’t know that it is or is not – everyone will have an opinion, it makes so much work for you and for that reason, you should leave it off. We can do our own math and take our time to do the work. Thank you for everything!
Michelle, I LOVE your site and you go way beyond what is expected of you. My opinion on the final pricing? I’d skip it. I live in South Florida, we do NOT have double coupons and you MUST by 2 of an item to get B1G1F AND sometimes you have to flex your patience muscles to get the cashiers to take coupons on the free item (“if you are getting it for free, then what am I taking a dollar off of?”) … and oh what I wouldn’t do to have some of the prices you have up in your area!! Regardless, it’s a great idea, but not useful to me individually 🙂 But hey, if YOU want to do it, by all means, DO IT!!! 🙂 Merry belated Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year to all!
Thank you for all of your hard work, but I tend to think we can do our own math too – and plus, here in FL we don’t double and so the totals aren’t going to be accurate for each of us anyway. It’s easier to scan the list without the IPAC. Thank you for being willing to do this though! You rule! 🙂
I tend to agree with Melanie.. In FL the prices are NOT the same.. Unless they are the advantage buy flyer prices.. so the prices are never correct nor do we double coupons.. 🙁 Although I do appreciate all of the work!!
I am in FL too…I read this site and understand that coupons don’t double. When making my list, I do the math in my head to determine if it is a good deal or not. The format with prices is actually too distracting to me. Plus it seems like more work than necessary. The list you provide is great with just the available coupons and links for printable ones. This site is great, thanks!
I have a question. Does the Publix stores that does not accept Target coupons, accept the manufacturer once with the Target logo on?
Yeah! I saved more than I spent again this week 🙂 Frugal Mom-my Publix doesn’t accept Target as a competitor but since the coupon is a MQ with a target logo they should take the coupon….call and ask first!
I think you should leave it off, it hurts my eyes and is way to much to read. you already do enough for us to show us that coupons are avaliable so you should leave it as is! thank you so mcuh
