Several of you have emailed me in a panic about the Beauty For All Ages Rebate and whether the total is before or after coupons. I have great news for you all. Both Kerry and I contacted Johnson & Johnson separately and were told that the only requirement in regards to totals is that you MUST be able to circle $30 worth of participating J&J products (within 2 product categories). The use of coupons is of no consequence and will NOT impact the status of your rebate!!
I will let you know that at first the customer service agent told me that my receipt had to say I paid $30–when I asked him where this was specified on the form he put me on hold while he contacted a supervisor. The supervisor was able to confirm that the rebate only required a $30 product purchase. He confirmed that I need only show that I purchased $30 of qualifying products–not that I spent $30! His exact words “You must be able to circle $30 worth of qualifying products on your receipt. What you actually paid is not a factor.”
Kerry called and was given the exact same information. I would encourage you all to call if you need confirmation. The number is 888-638-5242. I will let you know that it may take a while. I was on hold for 15+ minutes before I was assisted. Also, as with any rebate make sure to keep a copy of your receipt and a copy of any supporting documents that are required for the MIR. I scan all of my info and keep it in my “rebate folder” on my computer. If there is ever a question I can easily access the info with the click of a mouse!
You can go HERE to visit Kerry at Totally Target to see her details and of course to check out all the latest Target deals 😉
this has nothing to do with the rebate, but was there supposed to be a red plum in yesterdays [1/17] paper?
We didn’t get one in the AJC (Atlanta).
I know you posted the best deal on this from Frugal Fair hope the othe day and I cant see ??? can you post it again
thanks
oh and Why does my publix take those $XX off of $xx AFTER my coupons…. it so gets to me!!!!
This is so good to know. I had bought $70 of stuff at Rite Aid for only $15. All the stuff is going to a battered womens shelter in our town. Now that I’m probably going to get my rebate I will go out and buy more. Thanks for the update.
Thanks so much for waiting on hold that long to find out for us! Really appreciate it 🙂
Thanks for clearing this up for us. I got the deal today, but I spent $31 at TArget just in case.
