I found an awesome coupon HERE on the CVS site that is for $.50/1 any Coca-Cola single serve product at CVS. Now– here is where the confusing part comes in. This is a manufacturer coupon with a standard bar code that begins with a 5 BUT it specifically states to be used at CVS. So my question to you: is this a CVS store coupon or is this a manufacturer coupon that should be accepted anywhere?? Answer: depends on who you ask!! There are many fuzzy areas of couponing that are subject to interpretation so in case of doubt–ASK YOUR STORE!!
I get questions and see comments here about the use of competitor coupons at Publix. If you notice I always use the little disclaimer “if your store considers XYZ a competitor”. I say this because all stores will differ!! I encourage you to talk to your store to find out their coupon policy and who they deem a competitor. Honest and proper coupon usage is how we help to ensure stores remain coupon friendly!!
If you are ever in doubt about a coupon or a policy all you need to do is stop by the customer service desk and they will be able to assist you!!
My Publix is real easy – if it scans, it’s good (ie: manufacturer). If not, is is entered as a competitor!!! 🙂 🙂
I find a lot of it comes down to the willingness of the cashier to work with you. Almost all of the time, if I give it to the cashier and ask her to give it a try, he/she will try it. If it works, it’s a win! And if it doesn’t work, most cashiers will try to manually imput it. I went to Ingle’s the other night with some Nilla wafer coupons that clearly had Publix on them. But she scanned ’em and they worked. Never hurts to try, I say.
Today….these where hangtags on 2 liters at CVS in Ft Myers, FL.
I found these hangtags today at the Druid Hills Atlanta CVS on 2 liters of coke products. Although they say CVS on them they are a Manu Q. Should make for some super cheap or free coke prods. if your store doubles!!
I was able to use the dollar/off Baked Lays coupon from CVS at Publix last week. The manager was bagging groceries and they said it rang up as a manufacturer coupon.
Also, my Publix in Huntville Al had Barber’s Chicken on sale 2 for $7 and there are dollar off coupons on the smart source link. We got hooked on the Barber chicken with the last buy one get one free sale. Thanks for all you do. It’s a BIG help!
I’m just curious if Publix will get reimbursed from Coca-Cola like they would a regular (non-CVS) manufacturer coupon. I think my store would scan it and double, but they won’t double it if it’s considered a competitor coupon. I’d sure like some cheap diet coke!
What zip can I use to findthis coupon? I don’t see it! Thanks
90210 worked for me.
I agree with Lori and Traci… the same thing works at the Publix I go to… If it scans they take it!
