Â
I am just in awe at the pictures and news reports of the devastation and loss faced by so many in Haiti after the massive earthquake this week. It just breaks my heart and really puts things into perspective! Â I posted yesterday about how even a little can mean a lot. Â With that in mind I am joining with Crystal over at Money Saving Mom to blog to make a difference.Â
For each person who blogs about what specifically they have done to help those in Haiti I will personally donate $1 to the American Red Cross. Just leave your link below to your “how you helped” blog post.
If you do not have a blog you can comment (or email me if you wish) with how you are helping and I will personally donate .10¢ per comment to the American Red Cross.
I know that I may not be able to help everyone but I honestly believe that together we can make a difference!

We donated to the US fund for UNICEF and also to a local (Kentucky)-based charity called Ten Kids whose goal is to provide a safe home, education, etc. to Ten Kids http://www.tenkids.org/. I like the idea of giving to an organization meeting general needs of the people of Haiti and to one meeting the needs of specific children. We are so blessed–I can’t imagine the losses of the Haitian people.

I don’t have a blog either…. My husband and I both have been on mission trips to Haiti (he just got back a few months ago) with New Missions and Brent Gambrell Ministries. We are helping our church to help New Missions and BGM to fill up crates of supplies for Haiti. It’s so cool to see how so many are helping as long as we keep filling the crates they will ship them for free to Haiti at New Missions. May God be glorified in all of this! I am glad to see so many helping a country that needs it sooo bad. Thanks SOOOOO much for all that you do with the coupons and with things like this. God is using you in so many ways.
I donated to the Red Cross through text messaging. I am also praying day and night for everyone there, ezpecially those poor children. It was already a tough place to be a child, now it’s unimaginable! God bless them!
