I thought I would share our fun this morning. We have been outside making snowmen, snow angels and throwing snowballs. Hey–we have to take advantage of it since it is such a rarity here 🙂 I hope you all are staying warm!!
Even though we receive just a flaking of snow in McDonough, it was nice to be able to sleep in. Now, I can catch up on grading papers. I know my students are happy!

We are here in Chattanooga, TN & got a decent amount – good enough for the kids to go sledding down our hill & driveway. Of course since we don’t have sleds (don’t need them here to often) they are using makeshift cardboard “sleds”. They seem to work just fine. Keep warm everyone…

Not much snow here, mostly just ice. We’re at the bottom of a hill, which is the only way out of the neighborhood. We’ve spent the morning watching everyone trying to make the hill to get out…nobody has made it yet! Cheap entertainment!! LOL

Great picture! The only thing we have here in N. FL are frozen pipes and that’s not fun at all!
I’m also waiting to see if there are any flurries in Orlando/Central Florida since it’s such a rare occurrence! I hope you’re enjoying your snow day 🙂
What a shame about the calendar. I hope they don’t decide to pull the concept indefinitely.
Ft Lauderdale here … been cold enough for me now to erase the ‘wishes’ for being back up north during the snow … heard we have a 10% of snow tomorrow. Of course, almost guaranteed to get the rain but that little 10%, well, it makes us pretty excited (my kids have already seen & played before up north) … we want to see what the cat has to say/do! 🙂 Thinking I need to leave work EARLY today so I can go shop because I plan on staying INDOORS all weekend and bake and cook

Wendy- that is NUTS!! Another blogger had a calendar giveaway on her website, but ended up clipping the coupons and giving them away without the calendar, citing a “misprint” in the calendar. I remember thinking, what kind of misprint, and assumed there was some kind of accidental profanity on the calendar. People’s ignorance never ceases to amaze me.

Whoops- just realized that it was this site that called it a misprint!
