I’M CONFUSED THE GE LIGHT BULBS. I PRINTED THE Q MY Q SAID 1.50 OFF ANY THEY ARE BOGO DOES THAT MEAN THAT THEY ARE .79 WITH .70 IN OVERAGE FOR THE TARGET AND .9 FOR THE OTHER Q. I’M STILL LEARNING SO DID I LOOK AT SOMETHING WRONG THANKS.

I got a sneak peek ad in the mail today from Publix….they also have Progresso Soup BOGO, pop-secret pocorn BOGO, Tyson Chicken Nuggets BOGO…..I did a complete blog post….
since the the light bulbs are $1.59 each. you can think of it as
.79 and 1/2 cent per bulb. if you use one manufatures coupon it becomes
1.59-1.50 = 9 cents or 4.5 cents per buld. the only way to get overage is to use 2 manufature coupons, the you get 3$ off but it only cast $1.59.
so you would get $1.41 in overage. thats why normally you can only print 1 to 2 coupons from the website or else you could print 100 coupons and get $141.00 in overages. some publix actually oay oyu cash, some wont.
generally its a good idea to purchase another $141 in other groceries so that you dont have any overages. I have walk out of a publix with a cart full of groceries and 20$ cash back. but like 14 managers were involved and it backed up the line. so i have a rule to try to make sure i dont get cash back. some publix will not give cash back.

yep, if the Dentek floss piks are ringing up at $1 (10/$10), then we can’t use the IP for an item $2 or over-Boo! I wanted some free floss piks…

Healthy Choice coupon has a max of 9. I had printed up like 100 2$ of 1 healthy choice back when healthy choice.com had the special. so since they are 2 each now. i was using the $2 off plus 5o cents advantage buyer coupon to get lots of overage. but this week the cashier said her computer stop her at 9. so if your getting more than 9 just split up the order. Win dixie computer stops at 15.
I was humilated with the Dentek coupon today. I wished I’ve read the comments before printing the coupons. I thought it was a $1 off one Dentek product and thus the item would be free, as stated in this blog. I failed to read “over $2 or more” the cashier didn’t take it and I took it up with the manager. Who pointed out to me “OVER $2 OR MORE”. Get it that’s why we can’t take this coupon. I was humiliated!
COMENTS need a format: FOr Example we should all start our comments like: GE LIGHT BULBS: at the begining of the post that way we can scan and find what we want to read. maybe the the web site can be altered to have a subjuct line that you are requierd to fill out then postt your comments.
GE LIGHT BULBS: someone posted that they were able to pring a second coupon by entering a separate zip code. I founf this not to be the case for the target printables. it seems that once your PC usses 2 print out that target.com does not show the coupon anymore. restarting the computer and clearing the cookies for internet explorer do not work. However after I printed 2 coupons and counld not see a link for a third, i pulled up the website using Firefox, and alternate web browser, http://www.firefox.com and was able to see
the coupon again. no this could be a handy trick not to get extra coupons but in case you cant see the coupon in internet explorer to begin with, or your printing of the first set failed or got jammed, or your lost your first set. its a good back up for target.com. however this trick deos not seem to work in general for smartsource or coupons.com just for target website.
Dentek: Maria you should not have been humilated. first off all you were correct, the coupon says for “over $2 or more” means that they had to be origianly priced $2 or more. just because publix had them on special for 1$ they still meet the intent of the coupon. Simply put the manufacturer will give publix 1$ plus for every dentek sold that was normally non sale priced over $2. that is a rule made by the manufacturer. If the manufacturer gets 1,000 1$ coupons from publix they have the right to request proof from publix that they sold 1,000 dentek
packages of a certain size. if publix put them on bogo are on special 10 for 10$ Dentek cannot refuses to pay publix. It is no different then saying,
“save 2$ on a 24 oz or higher” Dentek says “over $2 or more” because they dont use ounces on thier products. So thats the only way Dentek can say use this on the larger size that retails for more than $2.
The manager can say hey this coupon is supposed to be used on a 24 oz or higher package and would be right if you tried to use it on a 12 oz package.same with dentek if you used the coupon for an item non sale priced at under $2 he would have been correct.
2nd its only a coupon nothing to be embarresed about, you are grocery shopping not on a first date! lol

Answer to Jaye: yes you should be able to do that. I had like 20 calender that have 2$ off when you spenrd 20$ or more. I always give that coupon first on the top of the stack and even though my bill was like 5$ it still worked. did this 3 tiems already with no push back.

I’m not trying to pick a fight over the Dentek coupon, but I”ve always understood that coupons are supposed to be used on items as stated. It states on the Dentek IP, floss picks $2 or over. They are priced at $1. Just because a q goes through the system, or the cashier doesn’t read it closely, doesn’t mean we are entitled to place non-matching items with them. Plenty of coupons will go through without beeping….it’s our job to be responsible and make sure we have the correct items. If we don’t, we risk losing our reputation as an honest couponer.
Am I looking at this q wrong, Michelle? I’d love to get in on the deal if it’s legit…
DENTEK: it comes down to the WORD, “priced” of course this means original maunfature price. after all it is a manufaturer coupon. it’s like when you have a coupon for a 24 oz or larger package. Manufaturer Coupon can be accepted in addition to publix coupon. If the dentek were bogo would you not be able to use 2 coupons? of course you could. but because priced could mean final sale price I would just say ok take them off the bill, simple.
In my 1/10 SS I had $1.50 off 1 Target Q’s!! I am so excited! Not to mention they were delivered in bags on driveways that week and my neighborhood was more than generous with me so I had 18 inserts!! 😀
