Is the penny item coupon in the Sunday paper or the Wednesday ad paper? I can’t find it.
It is now in the Wednesday Paper.

mine had grape juice. i’m in the birmingham area, in alabama and they now require the coupon for the penny item. one location blamed in on the newspaper and said that they are making publix have to take coupons since paper sales are down due to them switching their penny item. another claimed they need the coupon to balance their tills each day.
the sad thing is my ad came in the mail today and there wasn’t a coupon. last week my ad came on thursday. my cashier today told me i could print it online, but i didn’t see a place on their site with the penny coupon.
Megan, the penny item coupon is in the Wednesday paper, but not in the ad. It is in the actual paper somewhere. Mine (Birmingham, AL News) is usually on the back of the front page. Other people said they found theirs near the obituaries. Hope that helps!
this is a bummer to me though – i don’t want to buy a second paper each week just to get a penny item – then it’s not a penny item. i wish it were in the ad that came in the mail – or in sunday’s paper!
