I have not had a chance to shop since doing the new ad. I had intended to go to the store to check out the prices of the various platters to see if I could find a good deal. Well…of course I have some smart cookies for readers so I think I have come up with an awesome deal!!
Emily emailed to let me know that she found the small shrimp rings on sale for $5 (medium are BOGO $11.99) So when you use the $5/1 Publix Platter with a $10 Purchase of Pepsi, Frito Lay, Gatorade or Stacy’s Products coupon— you get a FREE small shrimp platter with your $10 purchase.
Here is my plan as you guys know I need some Stacy’s chips for my favorite snack ever (Sabra Pinenut Hummus –on sale this week too!) We have family coming as it is my oldest son’s 4th birthday on Sunday 😀 So I am opting for tea and the larger platter:
Buy 5 Stacy’s Pita Chips, or Bagel Chips, Assorted Varieties, 8 oz bag, 2/$4 ($10)
Buy two Gallons of Deli Tea $2.39

Thanks so much to Emily for the super smart idea…now you guys better leave me some shrimp!! The only issue I see could be if your store says the shrimp ring is not considered a platter. I am guessing that will not be the case BUT ask your store to confirm the coupon is a match!!

use the bogo sobe + the target one for the sobo so free for the sobe ,instead of getting the chips or get chips plus the sobe… anyone have any staceys chips coupons… I dont trust getting the off of ebay… too many fake coupons out there

I asked today and the shrimp ring wasn’t considered a platter…only deli platters. I am sure it varies from store to store, so ask!
Where is the Publix platter coupon?
Where did you find the tear pad? I have been looking all over for it. Hopefully I can find it before the game, lots of hungry guys coming:)
The platter q is on the back of the weekly flier. The stores should consider it a platter bc my store mgr said anything in the “Start Something” book (brown booklet near the other fliers…you have probably never looked at it like me bc there are no coupons in it!) is a platter and there are pics of all the platters including the shrimp rings in the back of the book. Just kindly show them the book and all the pics.
If it is on a platter than it should be considered a platter!
You can also throw the Target 50 cents off $1 Deli coupon into the mix if your store takes Target as a competitor.
I did this today! I used the $5 Q in the flier and I had a Kroger coupon for $3 off a shrimp platter too!!! :o)
It is definitely a platter b/c the label on it says Medium Shrimp PLATTER!!! And it is on the Publix website under deli platters.
Coupons are also on tearpads around the Superbowl display. My store had those as well as Lays coupons in the same display. I came here to mention the $.50 Target deli coupon but Cathy beat me to it!

The small shrimp platters (and they DO say platter on them) at my store are $10/2, so 1 would be FREE with the $5 coupon from the back of the weekly ad 🙂

this is the same deal however you get more food for less if you can see I said medium platters and you get TWO FOR 1.99 which is a better deal// you also get 1 more bag of chips and you also get 6 velvettas FOR LESS than that deal… just trying to be nice and share my wisdom lol
