Wow, Publix just keeps getting better and better! We should probably drop a line to corporate and express our gratitude for all they do to make our communities a better place.
Thank you so much for this post! I really appreciate all that you do here on this site. Thanks again.
I have sent them thank you emails! Stores get so many complaint letters and I never have any complaints. I got a call from the store manager thanking me for my thank you, haha!
I called corporate and thanked them. I, too got a call from local manager to thank me!
This is an awesome resource, not just for people who have diabetes but also for women with PCOS as this is often prescribed to help. Well done, Publix!
Thank you to Pharmacist Magaly at Publix #0279-San Marco for her attentive care. I have been a pre-diabetic for a while and tested 122 back in April. Since working on my diet to reduce my numbers and reading my Medical Health book yesterday, it recommended that I purchase a home glucose to assist in daily tracking to monitor my glucose so I called my neighborhood Publix Pharmacy to inquire about units and supplies to test and Pharmacist Magaly advised me that Publix allows a unit at no cost. I was not aware of this and was pleasantly surprised. I visited Publix just after getting off phone, got back home and immediately tested and my results were down. I figured due to my diet change. It was 94. This was late afternoon with no fasting. I checked again this morning (fasting ) and the number was 84. Thank you Magaly and Publix for caring. I suggest to those that are monitoring their glucose either pre- diabetic or other to visit your neighborhood Publix to assist in taking care of your health.
