Gotta love cheap gas!!
I don’t see the Coffee Mate coupon in my 3/28 SS. Is that the correct date or was this regional? I live in Orlando, FL.
I’m in Orlando too and I couldn’t find it. Maybe next week. I’ve noticed some qs are a week off which is weird…
I’m in the Orlando area as well and I don’t have those coupons from 3/28. I did read on some blog that we would possibly be getting those this weekend??? Not sure.
Smartsource allso has .55/1 Reeses cereal
Smartsource online that is
i wish FL stores would double. 🙁
I also think that $0.93 PAM is a great deal if you are in need of that. You also have FREE Green Giant frozen veggies in your matchups, but I wonder if the .50 Q is only on Steamfresh and then I wonder if the Steamfresh is included at the 10/$10 price point?
One more thing, Publix Baby Club had a $1.50/1 Organic Valley milk in the last coupon set I received, a week or two ago. Combined with the MQ, that will make it $1 for a half gallon of organic milk!
The green giant veggies coupon pictures the Steamers, but the wording indicates it is valid on “any variety green giant frozen vegetables”. Yay for free veggies!
I think that is wrong. All of my coupons state any STEAMFRESH varieties!
Didn’t the Fiber One yogurt used to be in a 6 pack instead of a 4 pack, or am i crazy? I know the Yo Plus has always been only 4 pack….
I’ve only been buying it since September, but I’ve only seen the 4 pk.
I’m sure this has been done to death before but, what exactly are “tearpads” and where are they usually found? I’d love some free eggs :D, though I wish there were coupons for the regular Special K cereal; granola just isn’t my fav. Oh well 🙂
I think some of us in Central Florida got gipped! I bought two papers and they did not have all the coupons listed or the week. My mother in law who lives close by got them all as far as I can see (she gives me the ones she does not use). Weird.
There are B2G1 free Q for the coffeemate creamers on their website – http://www.coffee-mate.com/getyourcoupon/default.aspx?source=10086105
Also, the gatorade there is a hangtag B3G1 free – so 75 cents each.. not bad
I’m in Jacksonville, Fl and we got the coffe-mate Q’s
thanks Chrsity for the coffee-mate q i also got a .75 cent one too
THANKS for all your hard work – it really helps me out – big time!
I am a Publix newbie. I live in Mobile, AL but now work in Pensacola, FL. I have heard the coupon policy is different in Florida than it is in Alabama. Does anyone have the coupon policy for FL so I know exactly what I can and can’t do? Or do you know of a Pensacola blogger?
Which store do you plan to shop in Pcola? As with every Publix store, the store manager decides on the store’s coupon policy. Your best bet is to stop by the customer service counter and ask about the coupons they will and will not accept. FL does ring up true BOGOs. So you will have to buy 2 to get the deal.
The one I’m close to is over by Cordova Mall. I guess I will do that tomorrow. Thanks!!
Kari the 9 mile Publix is the friendliest. They welcome couponers and understand how they work. Patrick Nichols(Grocery Manager) has told me they have had a store meeting explaining the benefits of being coupon friendly. Stating they are just like cash. The Store Manager Patick Lascell rocks !! He came from Orlando(or south Florida area) where there is very heavy couponing going on..so he totally gets it.
You really have to have all your ducks in a row for the Cordova Store and be prepared to have a monkey wrench thrown in. They are getting better but are very very picky, rude cashiers and the cashiers are NOT coupon friendly. They will roll their eyes at you and totally treat you like a loser low life if you are a couponer. They look at every coupon with a fine tooth comb. They will call a manager over and over to ask if certain coupons are ok. Some cashiers will ask for all your coupons upfront which I always refuse. I very nicely say I’d rather not and you wouldn’t ask for my money upfront would you? I give them 2 or 3 at a time to make sure they get scanned. They’ve missed (3) $3 off coupons on my order before. Also alot of times they won’t bag you groceries until they have scanned all coupons to verify you bought the correct item…kinda embarrassing. To be quite frank Bernie the store manager of that store is a Moron. He doesn’t understand coupons at all and has no customer service sense. He does not see coupons as cash..just a coupon…a piece of paper. Be prepared to be told one thing at customer service and then it change once you are at the register. Oooh there is ONE gal at this store that totally gets it and is very nice. Sadly I don’t remember her name since I don’t frequent that store because of the harassment. I hate to describe her this way but she is heavy set, wears glasses and has dark Blonde hair. She visits old.iheartpublix.com from time to time. She will look over coupons well but not in a harassing way and has a good memory to know if you got the right item or not.
Both stores accept Target, Winn Dixie, CVS and Walgreens coupons. They both accept Register Rewards but only one per transaction. Also only one $ off coupon such as $10 off $50 purchase from Winn Dixie or $5 off $20 from CVS. You can use coupons on both items on bogo. Your allowed ONE Publix or competitor and ONE Manufacturer. I would arrange all Publix in one stack, all competitior in one stack and all Manf. in another stack..and hand over 2 or 3 at a time from first stack until your done with it and then the next stack and then the next. If you separate like that most cashiers don’t put together that you might be getting overage on something. They might get a little green or spunky on you if you give a Publix and Manf. together and they realize your getting overage..kwim. Both stores have a limit of only 4 deals per customer..in other words 4 bogo’s (or 8 items per person).
Good Luck!
Bernie the store manager is not a moron, you are. Just read the fine print on any manufacturer’s coupon, you will find the following printed on it:
1: Coupon has no cash value. (Sometimes they will print that it has a small cash value, usually 1/20th of a penny)
2: Customer is responsible for all sales tax. So even if you can pay for all of your your groceries with coupons (And it is indeed possible, just very difficult) YOU THE CUSTOMER are still required to pay something.
3: Any other use constitutes fraud. Now this part changes the most on manufacturers coupon, but the meaning is the same.
In other words, coupons are not legal tender.
Take an economics 101 class sometime. The first lesson they teach is this:
There is no such thing as a free lunch. Someone must pay for it one way or the other. Store Manager Bernie has to think about all of his customers, including the ones on his payroll. If he has to keep cutting said payroll to cover the losses abusive couponing hurts his store, his associates will be upset, not to mention hungry since they will not be able to buy groceries (after all, their paychecks will be getting smaller). And guess what? Publix stores do not get reimbursed for their coupons or competitors coupons, it is counted as operating costs. Think about that the next time you abuse their generosity, for eventually they will have to change their minds.
Wow…Thanks….That’s alot of great info! I will definitely check out the 9 Mile Publix. I sure don’t want any hassles especially when I’m just getting started…LOL
Wow, benz, I’d hate to have people be rude to me when I use coupons! Thank God for the wonderful people at the Phenix City, AL Publix! Russ, the manager, is a delight. Everyone there is polite and helpful, and they are always happy to see how much I save each week. I just recently learned about the iheartPublix site, and it was a Publix cashier who told me about it. I’ve even had cashiers give me coupons for items that I didn’t have coupons for, or tell me where to find specific coupons. Shopping at the Phenix City Publix is an absolute delight!
The Publix on the corner of Mobile Hwy/Michigan is pretty good. I haven’t had any problems with my coupons and the cashiers are very friendly and helpful, it sure beats the Publix in Orange Beach.
is the $25 purchase for the bp card deal before coupons?
Dana, yes- before coupons!
yay! 🙂
Hi, I am kinda new to the major couponing. Can someone explain to me about the peelies??? I am thinking its the coupon on the packaging but not sure. I need to learn the lingo. Also, any hints on where to find coupons and how to get great deals are welcomed.
Thanks.
on the BP gas card, do I have to give that coupon first, before they take off the rest of my coupons, so that in the beginning i will have the $25.00 in groceries? hope this makes sense, as i’m new to this. thanks!
At my publix, I get the $25 gift card first, before I hand them the coupons. Then the coupons. You bought the items, they will be reimbursed with the coupons. But if you try to do the gas card AFTER doing the coupons, it won’t work. Just hang on to them. I bring an envelope in to put them into my purse and I don’t get them out until I am ready to pay.
Out of the 3 different Sunday papers we get, none had RP or SS flyer ads. Did anyone else get these this week (4/4/10)?
I am fairly new to this site & don’t know how I ever survived without it. One abbreviation I haven’t figured out yet is DND. Any clues?
Thanks so much!
ours too. The only insert in the Sunday papers were from P&G.
DND = Do not double. But if the barcode # starts with a 5 then it still doubles (if your store does that)
Benz1968, I would like to know which store are you talking about the one on pine forest and 9 mile or the one on 9 mile by target, I am a customer to all of the pensacola publixs and lets just say I know all the managers but the by target dont know that one…I know someone needs to do a pensacola publix blog… I started one but cant keep up with it cus i have a few hellons…
I go to the one on moblie hwy and lets just say everyone knows my name and that I am a coupon freak lol… and of course just loves my little girl aka pookie lol…. that store is very friendly however some of the cashiers can be picky about coupons… so you have to watch whom rings you up lol….
julie, i think she means the one on pine forest. i have heard lots of great things about that store. i go to the one on mobile hwy. and can’t wait until the perdido store opens! i blog about my publix deals (http://frugalforyou.blogspot.com). but i have found this site (iheartpublix) to be the best. also, couponchix.com has match-ups and she’s a local pensacola blogger.
we get the bp card and use it to get gas whenever we’re at orange beach. their bp right before publix (coming from perdido) is usually cheaper than wal-mart gas!
Sunday Papers the weekend of Easter never have coups. There are other holidays, too I think thst will cause there to be no coupons in the paper. Maybe mother’s day or Thanksgiving? I forgot which one.
did anybody find the youplait coupons of the first two links?
i can not find any
There is no yoplait fiber one yogurt on the first two links. However, the third link is printing for a $1.00 not .75 cents for the fiber one yogurt.
Thanks, Shirley!
When the sale items are listed above and it says you can use ex. $1 coupon and tearpad coupon to get free eggs, does that mean that the tearpad is usually there or maybe that it was there at one time and if you happen to have taken it then you will have it. Any help would be appreciated and thanks.
Benz is referring to the Publix on 9 mile Road near University parkway. I have to agree that their grocery manager as well as many, many of their employees ROCK. That Publix is the closest one to my home and I am a HUGE fan. I have even written to corporate to brag on them.
I love the one on east nine mile as well! The manager is super friendly. I do wish they would keep some of their items stocked more though. I have to goto the west nine mile one when there is a good frozen item bogo (that has a coupon) because 9 out of 10 it will be out of stock at the east nine mile one 🙁 but I really do love that store!
FrugalFriend shes referring to the one on East Nine Mile Rd (on unversity parkway) because thats where Patick Lascell works.
