So this week was another week where I just grabbed a few of the best deals and went on my way.  I did grab a few last minute items that were not planned. Apparently the world just would not be the same if my four year old did not get the bag of donuts he noticed on the shelf –a $2 bag of donuts saves the day every time 🙂  I also had a day this week where I just did not have a spare moment—I was on the go from the time I woke up until I hit the pillow that night…I forgot to take meat out to defrost so I just grabbed some ground beef and threw together crock pot chili for dinner as a way to save time and sanity!! 
I went to Publix twice and that was all of my shopping for the week!!  I spent $26.64 for 107.03 worth of groceries.  That means I saved about 76% this week.  That is actually probably my lowest savings in quite a while but I got what I needed and stayed under budget so I am thrilled!  We tend to be on the go much more during this time of year!  The weather will soon be nice and so we are out more (zoo, park, Six Flags, T-ball, etc…) and that means that my already crazy life gets even more hectic so if I give myself a little slack and allow for more improvising without guilt 😀
