why do you need to buy two?
I think she was referring to the SC Johnson mail-in rebate. If you buy 3 SC Johnson products, you can send in for a $5.00 rebate. For this deal, you would have bought 4 products total, qualifying for the rebate.
My store has been out of these for WEEKS. I got to buy one when the coupons first came out but they haven’t had any since. Same with the Reach floss and Finish Automatic Dishwasher Detergent. Do you think they figured out that they’re free (or close to it) after coupons and just aren’t stocking them?
Aw, man! I didn’t know there was a free refill coupon! I’ve already got 3 of the starter kits for free with the previous $5 printables and OSOS coupons, so I’m ready to submit my final SC Johnson rebate (3 submission per household). I got my last one yesterday and wish I’d known about the refill.
@Stephanie – my store was fully stocked on these until this weekend when the $5 coupon came out. I think they didn’t expect to be out of a new item that fast and just didn’t plan to restock. It doesn’t matter to them if the item is free because they’re still getting their money back in coupons.
Thanks for posting this – up until now, I hadn’t really paid attention to all the Scrubbing Bubble coupons – I will now, though!!
I just tried this scenario and the manager said that I could not do it because the Publix coupon states that it “May not be used in conjunction with any other coupons.” So in other words it was either the manufacturer coupon or Publix coupon….*sigh*
I don’t know why the manager said this. I double checked the coupon and it is a Publix coupon, not a manufacturer one therefore you should be able to stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon (Publix store policy). Maybe the statement “May not be used in conjuction with any other coupons” means not to be used with any other Publix coupons?
My store has been out of the SB Starter Kits since before Easter. Yesterday, I asked the store manager about it and he said they’d be restocked this week…I hope!
I bought (or rather got them free) 2 on Sat, before knowing there was a Q in Sunday’s paper or about the free refill Q. Now, I’ll got back and get 2 more plus refills!
there were no free refill Q when i hit print on the site
sorry i find it thanks
Where do you find the one stop, one store coupon booklets? I read about all these different coupon booklets all the time that are supposed to be at Publix yet my Publix rarely has any of the coupon booklets. They mainly have the green and yellow flyers and its rare to find those available too!
My OSOS coupons were in my Sunday paper. they are sending the green/yellow page ad fliers to there too. I get the AJC in Atlanta. HTH
Thankfully I couldn’t find where I put these coupons when I went shopping this weekend. We were going out of town and it was one I printed and shoved to the side in my haste. I did find them and now I get to do the refills. BTW…I was looking in the One Stop One Store booklet and there’s a Publix Q that says $1/2 on any scrubbing bubbles…that should be able to work with the free refills so essentially you make $1 in overage!
Meagan, if you use the .55 off any scrubbing bubbles, you’ll make $1.10 in overage. That coupon is right above the $1/2 coupon. Unfortunately, my store is also out of these. Here’s hoping they get them in before the coupons expire.
My store and 3 others in the area have been out for almost two weeks now 🙁
