So–say you just bought 4 measuring cups you would pay $6.07 per cup with the promo. I am actually thinking of ordering a bunch as this is a super cute way to do a housewarming gift–add cookie mix, some measuring spoon and a ribbon–voila 🙂

Thanks! They ran the same promotion around Christmas time and I was able to get a lot of nice Christmas gifts for free. I love Amazon!!
If you are in need for some kitchen goodies-Kroger has now BOGO on alot of them(at least mine in Atl)! Just went yesterday and scored soooo much great quality kitchen stuff for 2-5$ each. I think it is a great deal- but is not at Publix either 🙂
That is a good deal, I found them on another site for a little less. Not sure about the shipping tho.

As much as I love Amazon, I have come to realize that their site is truly Buyer Beware now.
The deal above (79% off) is crazy. A 2 cup pyrex measuring cup does NOT cost $43 retail. Sellers are screwing around with the retail cost on nearly everything now and making people *think* they are getting a deal, when in fact, they are being overcharged.

I hate to be a naysayer, but I got burnt on Amazon more than once before I figured it out, so I wanted to make sure others realized what’s been going on. If you’re going to make a purchase that is on sale, just poke around other sites first to see if you’re really getting a deal.
For me it is a great deal because to get the $3.99 price I have to also pay tax & shipping and/or drive to the store to pick up the item which increases the cost dramatically. So for me it is already over $4.30 with tax and since I have to pick it up I will incur gas $$ –so it is likely not much of a better deal if any!! Another fabulous perk with Amazon is that I do nothing but let it show up at my door and use free money –I don’t touch my bank account at all!!
Of course Amazon makes it seem like a deal that is too good to be true but with the Buy 4 pay for 3 promo it definitely gives Sears a run for the money as far as the actual “cost” of the item! (of course this is my opinion 🙂 )
