Once again another week has flown by!! I had actually intended to pop into Publix once again this week as I need a bell pepper for tonight’s Sweet & Sour Chicken but we are going to make do without it!! I took the boys to the skating rink this morning for the last Tiny Tot’s party and Jeb-a-doo was NOT happy about leaving–so I just decided that we would head home! Sometime you have to pick your battles and today Jeb won–I was not in the mood for a grumpy two year old in Publix 🙂
Somehow I managed to forget bananas this week too… so I may have to break down and go to the store tomorrow. I have apples, strawberries, grapes and a variety of canned fruit on hand but wouldn’t you know that is completely inconsequential to a child who NEEDS a banana 😀
This week I spent $35.09 for $135+ worth of groceries!! That means I saved about 75% this week which is not bad at all!!

How did you do this week? Leave a comment or link to your weekly totals!
Wow! You did awesome! This week I saved 50%, not my best but I’m happy 🙂 Still made my goal of 50% savings on groceries.
I did $122.13 for $12.53. It was my best week yet thanks to all the wonderful deals on your site!
First time doing the coupon thing. Saved 65%. I told my husband this coupon thing is like gambling! I’m addicted….to couponing, that is. Not to gambling!
I noticed that you used 2 $5 off $50 coupons. Did you divide your purchase into two transactions or did your store let you use both coupons in one transaction? I had a recent trip where they wouldn’t let me use a second coupon for dollars off a purchase on a second transaction, so I wondered if that was standard.
My store will let me use multiples in 1 transaction just so I meet the purchase requirements. For example, if I make a $150 purchase I could use 2 WD $10/50’s and 1 Albie’s $5/50. This is definitely not the norm though. In my area we have a Publix on every corner and I pass 5 on my way to this one, which is still only 6 miles from my house. If you have choices shop around until you find YOUR store 🙂
I spent $29.35 for $209.30 worth, saved $179.95 = 86%
I was excited when I went to the grocery store today so was the
cashier. I saved 86% on my grocery bill. The cashier was very friendly
and thanked me for placing the coupons with each item it went with. I
have started doing this because it just seems easier for the cashiers
and not such a chore to checkout. Thanks Michelle!
I am 20 years old and live on my own with my boyfriend. I started seriously couponing about a month ago. Today I did my best yet, spent $50 and saved $83. I am so proud of myself!! I am addicted to couponing as well!
