How many newspapers would you suggest us starting out couponing buy to get our stash started? How many do you buy every week?
What is the best way to take advantage of stores that have a triple coupon week(s). There are so many stipulations with the tripling system(spend so much to triple so many, under 50 cents, etc.). I got a few items really cheap at Ingles this week but didn’t save very much.
Does Publix get reimbursed when you use a Walgreens RR as payment? My store keys it in as a Competitor Coupon, not as a Manufacture Coupon like it states on top of the RR.
Also..the coupons that say manufacture coupons that print out on kiosk’s at walgreens and winn dixie, that say redemable only at ‘that store’, are those considered competitor coupons or manu at Publix?
How often/when do you get rid of weekly inserts? I recently went through inserts from back in March ’10… the majority of the coupons had expired, so I trashed the inserts. Keeping up with inserts takes a lot of space and organization (and even that doesn’t work most of the time) do you have any streamlining tips?
How do you get the goldfish coupon? Under my page its not an option
Is there a list/go to guide where I can figure out the best prices for meat/chicken? I pretty much have a handle on paper products, but that would be helpful as well. Thanks!
My question is on the SummerTime Savings Guide coupon booklet. I finally find them at my store and want to get the $10.00 rebate but I’m not too sure how it will work with coupons. Can I use coupons and have them not count towards the $50.00 I have to spend in one trip or should my total that I pay be $50.00 in order to get the gift card? I can easily get $50.00 of groceries to under $20.00 but want to make sure I get that gift card!
First if all Your website is my favorite and soo very helpful. You may have answered this before but what way works the best for you as far as organizing your coupons. I like not clipping them every week but then I forget what all is in the inserts.Any suggestions? Thanks again for all your hard work with this website and your iheartsaving website…
Just want to comment on last weeks question re: shelf clearing. Just because an item is gone when you get there for it does not mean someone cleared the shelves. There could have been only a few to begin with, and it could be that many people came b/f you got there and each person took one or two of said item. Just a friendly thought… happy shopping!
Why can I never find the coupons you mention for All You in that issue of All You? For example, Hunt’s Ketchup recently.
It means you have the subscription version of the All You magazine. There are always extra coupons in the store bought version (only sold at WalMart) that are NOT in the subscription copies. A sore point for a lot of people!!
I tell so many friends and family members about couponing, and all they say is “that sounds like too much work”, but I can’t see paying full price for anything…any ideas about how to help them get started an easy way? Of course, they think I can only do this b/c I am a stay at home mom. (which I think is the hardest job around!)
Does your website have a mobile version? I would love to be able easily view your site while I am on the go.

I seem to miss out on all the freebies that involve an advantage flyer coupon with a manufacturer coupon? The shelves are always bare. Is there a way to get a raincheck for these items?
Do you find that the “Rules” are constantly changing at your local Publix? It seems like every other week I go in and the manager says that they dont accept the same kind of deals they did a week ago. It is so very frustrating and I feel like I have to go throught the whole spill about coupons over again. I recently talked to my local store manager and he said they accept all the coupons I thought they did, my problem is he’s not there all the time :)Do you argue your case in this circumstance or hope for better luck next time?

Why is it that sometimes i cannot find the coupons that are mentioned — when I have the paper? In the recent ad for Publix. Ragu Pasta Sauce was on sale. It then mentioned to use : -$.75/2 Ragu Pasta Sauce, Any 16- 66 Oz. (Target Coupon) – 04-25-10 RP.
I had 2 copies of the 4/25/10 RP paper.
I believe there were several items that included the Target coupons. But neither one of my papers had these.
Do you cut coupons every week? Do you ever take a break and not shop for a week? I am new to couponing and am very excited about it! I already feel overwhelmed with cutting coupons every week! AND shopping every week! I have been used to shopping every 2 weeks to even once a month. How do I make this adjustment without getting overwhelmed!? Also, I have 4 young children (4 under 4) so what is a good way to do this without making my husband feel like I’m shopping all the time? 🙂 And, thanks for you website. I really do love Publix!
