Anybody know how much the Apple & Eve Fruitables are? The coupon I was able to print was .75/1 combined with the $1.00/1 Publix coupon could make a great deal!
The jugs are on sale for $2.50 each.
It’s so sad that something as great as this is now smeared, now people who really need this now must pay the price for those who do not respect, appreciate and value the process of truly couponing to stay afloat, not just because you can. Went to publix today(out of area) and was denied the use of my ip, ALL MY IPS WERE LEGIT,the manager took the time and look them over as I asked, said he was sorry the good had to suffer for the bad.My op was way higher than expected. I pray this is not the beginning of the end.
This really gets me upset when people are so greedy and conniving that they mess it up for everyone. I really need to use coupons and this is a new change for me. I pray they are able to work something out for those that are actually using the coupons in the right way and with the right intentions!
i don’t see how they can deny “internet printed” coupons, if the coupons are from smart source, redplum and coupons.com – these are nearly identical to the ones that are received in newspapers and home mailers – and what about all the facebook coupons or the ones you can get from manufacturers websites? Personally, and i don’t mean to offend anyone, but i don’t believe in obtaining coupons from places such as ebay or clipping services – those maybe where the fraud is perpetuated unbeknownst to the person who receives them 🙁
actually, counterfeit coupons will be more likely to turn up as internet printables. they look alot like the ones we print from smartsource, redplum and coupons.com. but something is changed in the coding to make them give more of a discount. they circulate because people forward them to one another, alot of times not knowing that they are fake. i recently had a counterfeit coupon emailed to me at work! i was amazed at how much it looked like the legitimate coupons i print everyday.
The counterfeits are almost always IPs. People scan and copy them to get as many as they can and then go into a store and use dozens. And unfortunately, even without the fake coupons people are greedy. It’s a shame. The lady in front of me at Publix yesterday used 42 berry coupons. That’s the kind of thing that is going to cause Publix to think twice about putting out those types of coupons.
I have been ordering coupons from Ebay for years and I have NEVER once gotten a fradulent coupon. Yet when I trade with other couponers, I am constantly getting copied IPs even after I specify that I want originals only. So go figure. I guess a few will ruin it for the whole bunch.
I was shopping at Publix two days ago and was using a LOT of coupons. Some were “free product” Qs sent to me in the mail from the manufacturer for compliments and membership- sign-ups. The cashier turned to the Assistant Manager and ASKED if he could approve them. I was SHOCKED!!! He said they were getting a lot of fake Qs so that’s their policy, now–every “free product” Q has to be approved my a manager. 🙁 Luckily, I know all the managers at the Publix I shop at and I always ask Customer Service about my deals and IPs. It’s sad people stoop so low when they can get great deals with coupons that are legitimate. SOMETIMES the legit Qs are MMs so its an even better deal! Seriously…
I had no idea why my cashier was turning over all my IP’s…that’s why!! But they scanned fine and were legit. I am glad I read this, now I know. This is sad!!!
How do you get target to mail you coupons? I looked on the website and couldn’t figure it out. 🙁
Jennifer, thanks!!! That makes a great deal!
i’m curious on how to get the target home mailers and the redplum home mailers also- thanks!
That explains why the cashier, who was also a cashier trainer, fussed about taking my $1 off Crystal Light coupons the other day. He said “well, it went through, but we are having problems with counterfeit coupons”. I knew this one was legit – it came from coupons.com. He said they worry about the high amount ones…didn’t realize that $1 would be considered a hight amount one…Anyway, now I know not to take it personally. Publix is obviously putting their employees on high alert.
I actually had a cashier reject a coupon that i got out of the paper because it had no expiration date on it. She explained why but i was still ticked because it was from the newspaper that they even sell. oh well you can’t be upset forever.
How do you get the Target and Red Plum mailed to you?
I was also wondering how to get the Target and Red Plum coupons that are mailed to you.
A note about the Osteo Bi-Flex deal –
They were ‘clearanced’ on the shelf at my store for $11.19 but I asked the stocker to check the price. They weren’t registered in the system so she manually clearanced them down to 2/$11.19 making this is a FREE with mucho overage deal with $5 coupons and adv. coupon!
Never hurts to ask…
Michelle,
Which store did you get the Osteo Bi-Flex in? My dad takes this every day and I would love to get this deal. Thanks!
Susan, I suggest you check any of your local Publix stores. I assumed the deal in this post by Angeline was available here in NW FL (Pensacola) so I checked and it was labeled on the shelf as $11.19. But I didn’t give up. The product wasn’t even ringing up, so someone had to manually discount it. In my case, she was generous. I hope you have the same good fortune as we did.
Same thing happened to me, I had alot of coupons this week, alot of freebies from Kraft First Taste, etc. The cashier had the manager come over to check some of the IP’s// I asked her if there was a problem and she said they have to validate that they are real! Now I know why! Too bad for those of us doing it the right way to save our families money.
Wow, this is just great! I’m actually moving to Lakeland in a couple of days, I haven’t been to Publix in a while because there isn’t anything really worth the trip for me. Now I wonder how my trip is going to go tomorrow! We get so many great deals, that its hard to believe that there are greedy people out there trying to get more!
It’s only a matter of time before Internet printable coupons won’t be accepted anymore. The GREEDY copy multiples and pass them to the stores and don’t even think twice about it. I would really like to work with the stores to educate them on identifying the copied coupons from the real coupons.
