If this is true, it’s one Penny item I won’t hurry out to get. In my opinion, this is one generic that is pretty gross. Thanks for the heads up, though.

It was lemon essence Publix water where I live in Birmingham, AL. I was pretty disappointed. The Publix vanilla wafers were on display where the mystery item is usually kept but they were $1.99. I was pretty upset about the water…I wonder who got to make that decision? Seemed pretty weird to me.

Publix chips in Prattville, AL. The receipt discount to make them $.01 said “Vanilla Wafers” though. Weird.
