Don’t forget that today’s the day to send me your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”!
Your questions can be about anything – couponing, how to use the site, where to buy coupons, etc – ask away! Every Wednesday I’ll answer 10 of your questions. There’s also a new tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.
It’s been a lot of fun reading and answering your questions – I really look forward to it every week, so keep asking, and I’ll keep answering! Email your questions to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com.
I have a question!
Can I use a manufacturer coupon, store coupon, and a competitor coupon all for one item?
Can you stack a competitor’s coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon at Publix?
This is an opinion they question: Just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on ‘selling’ their stock pile? Either having a yard sale, flea market..That sort of thing. Anyone do that?
What is the best way to organize coupons? I have tried a few different ways… but always seem to have a huge spread on the dining room table when I match up for the week. I just started using coupons a little over a month ago and already my collection is getting out of hand! 🙂
I have been couponing for the last few months. I feel like I’ve gotten the hang of it, but now I want to be better about meal planning and using the things I get on sale/with coupons in my meals. I feel like I still spend too much at places like Kroger and Publix where I get anything that I haven’t gotten on sale/couponed to make meals. Any tips on how to do this better? Thanks! 🙂
Each week there are always at least a few things I need to get that aren’t on sale. How do I find out if there are any coupons for those items and the dates of the inserts they’re in?
Hi Leah and Brittany! We’ve actually answered your questions in previous weeks – just click on Q&A at the very top of the page – look under “coupon stacking” (or something like that) 🙂
Hi. I know you print a lot of coupons. What’s the best deals on printer cartridges or refills? I hate spending $$ for replacements and they seem to get used up really fast! Thnaks. Susan.
I can never seem to find any tear pads at my publix. Ive looked all over the store! Any ideas? I see all the great coupon match ups and often theres a tearpad coupon included but I can never get my hands on them.
If I have a coupon that is BOGO for lets say Windex and I find a two pack of windex wrapped together, can I get (2) of the two packs and use the BOGO coupon?
I see on rebates it requires original receipt. Sometimes I have multiple item quailifing for rebates on the same receipt. I ask for duplicate copies when I check out.(they shut down the lane when I check out)I don’t do rebates but give them to my daughters. Will duplicates be accepted?also same-same products(schick razors)as long as you have all the u.p.c labels.
Similar to Shannon’s question, what about home mailers? I see deals all the time that say the coupon came from a home mailer, and for products I buy often. Do you have to go to the company’s website to register for those? Is that what they mean by home mailer?
I have two questions.
In my area there are SOOO many couponers which makes it really hard to get Publix store coupons. I’ve had to focus on competitors coupons so I can get really good deals. Do you have any advice for obtaining more books?
Second question is regarding FLIPs. For example the $2/1 block of FL cheese. Will Publix honor it for a Publix brand cheese block?
I recently read that the Publix Store coupons never expire. Is that correct?
How many times a week do you guys make meals at home? Only about one day a week do I not make meals at home. I have a husband and 3 kids and my weekly grocery budget is $100. With a $40 budget it blows my mind that you are eating at home every night of the week! Thanks!
