Jerri emailed me about the current Albertons coupons available in their weekly ad. If you store accepts Albertsons as a competitor you may be able to use these at Publix. Be sure and confirm with your store. Here are the current coupons:

Note: there are other coupons listed–these “coupons” list the price rather than provide a specific discount. Since Publix does not price match they may not be valid to use as competitor coupons–ask your store.

I used some of these specific price Q’s several weeks ago at my Publix and they went thru just fine.
As for the Sirloin steak coupon, watch for a $1/1 Q that was found by that cooking display in the front of the store (you know where they are cooking a meal for you to taste). TI says Save $1 on any steak OR on Samuel Adams beer. Almost laid it back down when I saw the beer, but then read the words and saw the “OR”!! This would save you $3 more on the steaks this week!!!
I use these EVERY WEEK. Yippee!!!! Lots of free meat! The round roast i get ground up into hamburger mean, and it is virtuallyl fat free when i fry it up!!!! The petite sirloin make killer steak sandwiches and fajitas as well!!!! And I still have NO IDEA what Swai is, although it has been in their ad for like 6 weeks in a row now….

I checked 4 Publix in my area and none of them is selling swai file. And I haven’t found Boneless Petite Sirloin Steak either. At least I used some produce coupons!!!!
I have used some of these coupons succefully, but my Publix now claims that no bar code for petite sirloin exists in their system (I have bought it there before), and now they said their meat is not angus, so they will not honor the coupons!
I wouldn’t be suprised to see a policy change coming soon regarding these coupons.
I too use these specific price Q’s at my Publix and they go thru just fine. They don’t consider it a price match since it literally a paper coupon and says “Coupon” at the top!
I heart Publix 🙂 because the butchers will cut the exact meat I need if it is not found in the case. Technically “Top” sirloin (Publix’ name for it) is the same cut of meat as “Petite” sirloin. Only once did a manager remark on the Top vs Petite. He verified with the butcher, then gladly accepted it. Same goes for ALL of the Albies meat Qs. I just ask my friendly butcher and they’ll cut some right up for me! Hooray for Publix!
None of my Publix sells swai either, but you may try a special order sometime.
swai is fish. its pretty good, fairly mild.
anyway, our meat department says if they have the item, theyll accept it. usually ill take the coupon up to the meat guys/lady and ask where it is and theyll show me right to it. 🙂
and my albertsons ad had a $1/1 coupon for any nutrogena sunless product. [excl. trial.] thats in the port staint lucie, fl area. 🙂
