Remember that BOGO Athenos Feta coupon that I told you about yesterday (Go to Athenos Facebook page and “like” them to print a BOGO Athenos Feta Cheese coupon)
Great news…Laurie and cforsythe are both reporting that they found the Athenos Feta BOGO at their store today!! For you guys with true BOGO you will score two free with each coupon!! You should find this deal today if your sale starts on Wednesday and tomorrow for the rest of us!
Hmmm…I may actually have to make a trip early this week!! I hope you all find the same!
Anybody know of a way to access the coupon without going to Facebook? Maybe on the website or via a “brick”. I’m beginning to think I am the only one left in the world who is not a Facebook participant. 🙁
the way Facebook has picked up on coupons recently, it’d be worth having an account just for coupons. Even if you don’t use it as a social network.
I was a holdout on Facebook, too, but finally set up a page for myself just to be able to take advantage of all of the great offers. It’s totally worth it! Just get a free email from yahoo or gmail specifically for your Facebook, and omit any personal information if you don’t want to be bothered with it. You’ll be glad you did!
Don’t know if this will work, but you can try it:

Thank you to all of you for the comments. And YES, that bricks link worked so thanks especially for that. I just know I need to get on Facebook but I’m a librarian and am just drowning in technology all day, every day. Can’t face logging on to one new database right now. I imagine I’m not alone!
You know I’ve been on Facebook for years now (I’m a younger couponer and my University was one of the first to have it available) but I have created another account just for coupons and promotions. You don’t have to complete any information really and can log in just when prompted for the coupons.
The site has changed dramatically from when I was first on it, not to mention what feels like just the past few months. I don’t feel comfortable letting these corporations access my personal information so I simply use my completely blank facebook account. It has a fake name and is attached to my coupons/promotions only email. Works like a charm.
Plus, the real reason I use a fake account is so my friends don’t constantly see that I “like” Hefty trash bags and no one starts asking me why I posted a photo of myself holding a fake DiGiorno pizza on their wall 🙂
I know what you mean about facebook – I only use it for “liking ” products…all my friends are food!
Anyone know the price for this? I am in the land of ‘false’ bogo, lol.
I dont remember exactly but its pretty pricey! Even the coupon says “up to $6.40” for the free one. I think it was in the $5 and change range in my Publix.
I was wrong… it is $2.29 for the small box (3.5 – 4 oz)!!
This may be silly but can you freeze feta?
hey Christy got this from some greek food site:
“Feta can be frozen, but the texture will change slightly. After defrosting, use this feta to crumble on salads or in cooked dishes, rather than as slices. Freeze wrapped in airtight plastic packaging; defrost in the refrigerator without removing the wrapping. When defrosted, if not used at once, store in brine or olive oil.”
Feta has a pretty long shelf life w/o freezing. I just bought some thats good thru November 🙂
I’m in wesley Chapel, FL. The feta is not bogo but it was $2.29, not bad with the bogo.
WooHoo! This IS bogo in Miami, FL 🙂
Now I need a good feta recipe (besides in salads and burgers)!
This is one of our absolute favorite vegetables side dishes using feta….so yummy and looks so pretty. You don’t have to use so much olive oil. http://www.momswhothink.com/easy-recipes/roasted-asparagus-with-feta-cheese.html
I found this bogo in Cocoa, FL today. Bought 8 pks. (they’re small, and yes, we WILL use it all). Plus, they were all dated MARCH! Plenty of time. Awesome deal on some free feta!
