It’s Friday and that means that today is the day to send in your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”!
Your questions can be about anything – basic couponing information, how to use the site, finding coupons, other ways to save, whatever you’re curious about! Every Wednesday I’ll answer 10 of your questions. There’s also a tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.
Keep asking, and we’ll keep answering! Email your questions to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com. If it has been a while and your question has not been answered please resend. My inbox can be a monster and sometimes things can get lost 😀
Also, if you’d like to be featured on the new Reader Spotlight, you can also email the idea for your post (or your completed post!) to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com.

Here’s a question just to get your opinion. I love couponing, and i started about a year ago, and since then have noticed more and more people do it. Are you worried that one day, it’s going to have to stop? Stores will change policy’s, less coupons put out, etc?
Good question. We have been wondering about that also.
I know that at my locals stores they say only about 5-7% of the customers use coupons and even a smaller amount are very adapted at it. Manufacture coupons that they collect in a week is around $1000.00. Less on Publix and competitors Q’s. So it really is a very small percentage.
I have a really hard time finding all the coupon booklets you talk about at all 4 Publix around my house. And if I ask customer service they either act like they don’t know what I’m talking about, or are just plain rude and dismiss me. I was just wondering if you have an “in” at your Publix that puts things aside for you or if the company itself helps you out since you send them a lot of business. Thanks, Lark
I am having the same issue finding the coupon booklets especially the Buy Big Save Big one. Is there a certain date these booklets come out?
I have 3 children who work at Publix plus my future daughter in law. They are customer service managers in 4 different stores and I can’t even get the booklets. I drive them crazy everytime I read about a new booklet and ask them for it. They usually don’t know what I mean. The grocery managers are responsible for putting them out. They are delivered with all the other merchandise and displays. The priority is to get the merchandise out and keeping shelves stock so depending on the staff at your store and grocery manager when they get put out. Sometimes they stay in a box and are never even opened. ugh…
I am confused on free product coupons. I have read that you people try to use them when something is BOGO. They are getting (2) half price items on the (1) free item coupon as long as it doesnt exceed the max price stated on the coupon. How does that work? Do most Publix allow this? Do you have to tell your cashier?
