It is Friday that means that today is the day to send in your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”!
Your questions can be about anything – basic couponing information, how to use the site, finding coupons, other ways to save, whatever you’re curious about! Every Wednesday I’ll answer 10 of your questions. There’s also a new tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.
Keep asking, and we’ll keep answering! Email your questions to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com. If it has been a while and your question has not been answered please resend. My inbox can be a monster and sometimes things can get lost 😀
Also, if you’d like to be featured on the new Reader Spotlight, email the idea for your post (or your completed post!) to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com.

If a coupon is accessible via adobe and you print several of the same coupon will the store still get reimbursed? I have not done this, but I’ve been curious nonetheless.
Yes, I wondered this, too. I have been sticking to the 2 per printer rule, as a matter of courtesy, but hey, it never hurts to ask. 🙂
What is a true BOGO vs a half BOGO?
Analisa, a true BOGO you buy one at full price and then the second one will show a zero. A half BOGO you buy one at half price and then the second is also half price. So basically, you get the two at the price of the one.
I have an old printer, and sometimes I may print one printable, and the other one gets jammed and ruined. Is it ok to make a photo copy of the first one, or is this a no no?
Elizabeth: The way I understand it that is a No-No. I think they say on the coupons they cannot be copied. But maybe someone else can confirm this.
For me, the money I save in groceries using coupons would more than pay for an upgraded printer. Or better yet, check out Craigslist or local classifieds. It’s worthwhile to have equipment in good working order to be able to take advantage of deals.
The sunflower coupon is for the 14.5 oz bag. The ones that are 2/$1 are the small ones. 🙁
I have a contact at the Coupon Information Corporation(CIC) http://www.cents-off.com and has been informed that it is very illegal to photo copy coupons or recreate them in any other way.
