It’s Friday and that means that today is the day to send in your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”!
Your questions can be about anything – basic couponing information, how to use the site, finding coupons, other ways to save, whatever you’re curious about! Every Wednesday I’ll answer 10 of your questions. There’s also a tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.
Keep asking, and we’ll keep answering! Email your questions to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com. If it has been a while and your question has not been answered please resend. My inbox can be a monster and sometimes things can get lost 😀
Also, if you’d like to be featured on the new Reader Spotlight, you can also email the idea for your post (or your completed post!) to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com.
Thinking back from when you started couponing, obviously you see a big difference in your grocery budget.. but do your totals still surprise you or is just like a second nature now to you?
Can you use more than one of the same publix coupons in the same transaction??
I was just wanting to clarify. If a Publix accepts CVS as a competitor they will accept a $5 off of $25 coupon from CVS because I have gotten 3 of those recently that will expire at the end of this month. Thanks!
If a coupon says “limit one per household” is it a rule that needs to be followed? For example I have several $5 off of $25 coupons with aforementioned limit stated on them but my Publix has been taking multiples in a transaction (one per every $25 spent). Is this ok? I don’t want to be cheating them!
How do you resist buying items that are a really good deal…but that you don’t need? I find this really hard!!!!!
Why do some manufacturers coupons say Do not double? It’s the store that’s doing the doubling—so why does the manufacturer care? Also, some cashiers suppress the doubling and some don’t. Is it wrong for me to avoid a particular cashier because she suppresses the doubling on coupons that say do not double in favor of one that doesn’t suppress it?
I want to know if it is worth it to buy coupons? I haven’t taken any time to look into this, but it just seems odd to me to pay for coupons? When is it really beneficial to use this type of service?
yes i buy lots on ebay all the time. last week i got 20 peter pan coupons 4 1.00 & bought 20 jars 4 .11 ea @ bilo.
can you tell me, what your cost for the coupons was? That’s the part I wonder about if due to purchasing coupons you end up losing the value of the deal?
Are SS or RP inserts pulished with a date?
