Okie dokie…so now we know what to do, lets hear those scenarios!! Many of you have emailed me your plans.Β I have seen them in the comments too!Β Let’s see if we can get them all in one place so everyone can see them.Β I am also including a linky so if you would prefer you can link to your scenario (links need to go directly to scenario please!)
Thanks so much for posting this as I have not been able to locate the form(it was not in the P & G saver either). I will be doing your Tide Stain Release Scenario as I have all the coupons and I’m hoping to find the $3 peelies! I would have done the Covergirl scenario but I had already purchased nine CG items on two seperate receipts last week (bummer!). Thank you!
Thank you so much for saying the paper isn’t required!! My Publix stores get everything after everyone else and I’m not even sure they’ll get the tear pad! (I’ve been to 3 and none had heard of it). Thanks again!!
So glad to see they’re raising awareness for early detection, rather than just basic awareness (who doesn’t know about breast cancer?)! Women over 40, GET YOUR YEARLY MAMMOGRAMS!!
now they say you don’t need to start until you are fifty, and I’m not sure if it is yearly or every two years at that age. I think they just like to confuse people, lol.
My ob/gyn recommended I get my baseline at 35 w/ no family history…so I think it really depends on your doctor and (sadly) your insurance.
Do coupons count against the total? I spent $45 on P&G products but after coupons I only spent $24. Can I still send that in? Sorry if this was answered somewhere else.
Whitney…. The required $25 is before coupons! Now… Hurry up and get that receipt in the mail! π
Thanks!! Will do!! π
Anyone know what the participating products are? I saw at the Proctor and Gamble website that IAMS is a P&G brand, does that qualify? I could get the dog food and qualify pretty easily.
Ok, I just answered my own question. LOL I called the toll free number, and IAMS is part of the promotion. One large bag of dog food should put me at the $25 mark ,and since I usually spend that on dog food anyway during a 2 week period, I’m going over my dog food budget. And I get free cookware! π
Argh…that should read *NOT* going over my dog food budget.
For areas that double coupons:
Buy:
6 β Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray @ $3.79 ea. = 22.74
2 β Bounty Paper towels @ $1.99 ea = 3.98
Use:
3 β BOGO Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray (P&G 09-26)
3 β .50/1 Swiffer Dust & Shine (P&G 09-26)
6 β $1/1 Any Swiffer Product Publix Q (Put Clean In Your Cart)
2 β Free Bounty Paper Towels WYB 3 Participating items (Put Clean in your cart)
2 β .25/1 Bounty Paper towels (P&G 09-26)
Pay $1.37 (Before tax). If your store allows the $3/5 participating P&G products… You will end up with $1.63 in overage (there again… if your store allows).
Thanks for posting this!
I modified a bit because I will never use that much Dust & Shine, (4 Dust and Shine, 2 rolls Bounty, 2 Febreze set and refresh — $25.08 before tax and coupons), so I ended up paying around $4 OOP. Still not bad for all that and cookware!
What is the price on the Febreeze set and refresh? Thanks. π
Set and Refresh – $2.99 each
Lexi, I like your scenario, I think I’ll use it. Tonya, thanks for the original idea too π
You were FABULOUS to post this!! Thank you SO MUCH!!
Do you have to purchase the items from Publix or anywhere?
Only at Publix it says on the form
I’m doing the following
buy
3 – puffs with vicks – $1.50 each
3 – Tide Stain Release – $5.99
2 – bounty paper towels – $1.96
Use
$3/5 publix P&G q
2 – Free bounty paper towel q
3 – $3 Tide Stain q
3 – $1 Tide Stain Publix Q
2 – $1.50 any 1 vicks q (P&G booklet q)
1 – $1 Any Vicks q
1 – $1 Bounty q (P&G booklet)
1 – .25 (doubled) bounty q
total will be $1.97 plus tax
Ok, from reading everyone’s comments I came up with the following and did it last night with no problems whatsoever!
Tide Stain Release (3 @ 5.99 each)
Bounty Single Roll (2 @ 1.95 each)
Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray (4 @ 3.79 each)
Gain Liquid Dish soap (1 @ 2.29)(this is the big bottle)
use 3 $3 off 1 Tide Stain Release Coupons from 9/26 P&G
use 3 $1 off 1 Tide Stain Release Coupons from Put clean in your cart book
use 2 Free Single Roll Bounty Coupons from Put clean in your cart book
use 2 BOGO Swiffer Dust & Shine coupons from 9/26 P&G
use 4 $1 off any Swiffer product Publix Coupon from Put clean in your cart book
use 1 $1 off 1 Swiffer Dust & Shine coupon from P&G book I got in the mail
use 1 .50 off 1 Swiffer Dust & Shine coupons from 9/26 P&G
use 1 $1 off Gain dish liquid
use 2 $3 off 5 P&G products from 9/26 RP
I paid $2.34 before tax
(I just realized while typing this that my receipt showed 20 coupons but I only listed 19 so I have no idea what another $1 coupon was for or if it was the cashier’s mistake and entered something twice but oh well!!)
How were you able to use all the man coupons at the same time?
The Publix I go to doesn’t usually question any coupons. The only reason the cashier had to call someone over was because I had more coupons than items and the manager entered in his numbers and knew it was because I was using a manufacturer coupon and store coupon per item. Other than that, no questions asked!
I live in Tampa and when I went to do my scenario, they would not take the Publix Qs with the MQs because they said cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupons. Many say that, but that was the first time I have ever had them refuse them.
She actually said to the bagger, “Oh look, it’s one of those coupons!” and refused to take it with the MQ. They must have just had a class about it or something! She said Publix was losing money by stacking! I seriously doubt that! Time to go to another Publix!
@Dawn- which Publix did you go to? I live in Tampa and would like to avoid that Publix. I typically go to the one on Fowler and 56th …
I had the Bloomingdale Publix tell me the other day that they were cracking down too! I was using a man with a store. ????? Errrrrr! T
Brandon Mall is very coupon friendly as is Valrico. Causeway is very good, I have never had a problem at Bloomingdale but don’t frequent that one to often. I know another site local to our area uses Valrico so they are the coupon friendliest. HTH
I had trouble at the Publix on Lithia Pinecrest which I find to be very strict. I actually like the one on Bloomingdale and Bell Shoals and the one in Winthrop ( who actually takes the Walgreens RRs!! Yea! but they recently told me they would not longer take GFS, boo!!)
I am totally loyal to the Winthrop store. The managers are great. Get to know them and they will work with you. The Lithia store I find to be very unfriendly to couponing. and the Bloomingdale and Bell Shoals is good with coupons just not a good customer service as the Winthrop.
Just out of curiosity, why did you get the Gain? Also, you could add the 25 cents off bounty mqs as well
Last year my cookware arrived within 3 weeks – I was very surprised!
I’ll probably get a box of diapers; that’s an easy way to get a high value PG receipt, and we need ’em anyway!
I did that! Fyi…. Publix has buy a box of Pampers and you get a pack of Pampers wipes free!
I need scenarios that don’t include the Clean in your Cart booklet. My store hasn’t had any booklets in months. Help!
Same here.. i see really great scenarios but I can’t even find the coupons on ebay!
You could just do 5 tide stain release and use 5-$3 p&g coupons, 5-1.50 target coupons form 8/15 ss?, and the $3/5 publix coupon. It would cost you around $4.50.
I have looked for the target $1.50 q on tide stain release. It did not come in my paper. Any other scenarios? My publix does not have the “put clean in your cart” booklet either. So frustrating!
I’m not sure, but things like tampax, pringles, mr. clean, and old spice have had some good coupons. maybe we can find scenarios for those?
I did not get the $3/5 P&G Coupon in my paper Sunday anyone else in the Pensacola area get one?. I did get the P&G coupons but it did not include the $3/5, Bummer!
this was in the redplum, not p&g insert.
Just checked my Red Plum and did not see it and I looked in 2 of them, must not have gotten it out here.
No 3/5 in our area either! π
I didn’t get the $3/5 in my RP either. I’m in central FL area.
I live in Central Florida and didn’t get it in my local paper but found it in the Orlando Sentinel.
Got the $3/5 in the RP insert in the Lakeland Ledger and the Tampa Tribune.
I cannot find those $3 Tide peelies anywhere in the South Broward area. Any luck anyone?
I found them at the Lauderhill store but they were for the 26oz size (34 count).
I looked almost everywhere in Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, and even Plantation. No peelies anywhere…
I did not see anyone mention that along with the 25.00 in P&G products for the cookware if you buy 5 particpation P&G items you automatically got 3.00 off from Publix. You did not need a coupon for this it was automatic.
What are the participating items?
$3.00 is not deducting automaticly. At least in South Florida, Broward County. I bought yesterday 10 items and nothing has been taking out until I provide coupons. I went to another store today and bought 10 PG items and $3.00 hasn’t been taking out. You do need a coupon with Publix number at the bottom.
thanks so much to everyone!!!
The 3/5 P&G q was in 9/26 Red Plum. Also, the free bounty roll q is also in 8/29 Red Plum. If you still have the 8/29 P&G insert, you can use q’s from that as they expire at the end of this week.
The free bounty coupon in the 8/29 red plum expired on 9/15!! the one in the booklet from the store is still good though.
Do BOGOs count?
Does anyone know how much the Febreeze Set & Refresh are?
Thanks!
at my store they are $2.99
Thank you!
i have some $1.50 off coupons for them would you like me to mail you some? or are going for this deal like tomorrow? email me @ jamesandamber03@yahoo.com
Thank you Amber. That was incredibly kind of you to offer. I have a couple of coupons that will make for a pretty good deal and am planning on going this morning. Thank you anyway. You Rock.
Does anyone have any idea why a pink pot is getting us so excited lol? I missed last years saute pan which I need but dont need a saucepan but cant wait to send off for mine lol. I hope they do another fry pan next year . I burn up a lot of the saute ones lol
Ok on to my question how come none of the Publix have gotten any of the forms yet or knows anything about the promotion here in N. Florida ? We are in the Corp office state , so why when it is advertised Nation Wide and only at Publix did P&G not get the info to Publix or Corp Publix did not get it to the stores before the ad hit the stands ? Ok off my soap box now . I just hate sending in with out the proper forms .
I actually got last year’s deal…and I LOVE my pan!! I’m so excited to get a pot to go w/it!! I have very old kitchen ware and have been wanting to get rid of it…so this is GREAT…use it all the time..and the fact that its pink..is just way to cute!! Not to mention the other fun stuff that came last year (although my timer never worked)..I was so thrilled just to get a bunch of cute pink stuff!!
too funny – my timer never worked either!!! But I love the pan from last year and am excited about this years!
i work at publix and i think because october is breast cancer awareness month we will probibly get it around then. Well at least i hope so because i am so excited!
We called one of our Publix stores about the forms, and they weren’t aware of them. However, we gave them our contact info, and they called P&G and had them call us, and P&G is sending us a rebate form. I thought that was pretty awesome of Publix to do.
The forms were on a tripod display on the back, is where I found them at least.
i went to four different publix stores in the alpharetta/buckhead area and finally found a store with them. I have two extra if you need one, hit me up and i will mail it out tomorrow.
Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray (4 @ 3.79 each)
Mr Clean surface cleaner (2@ $3.99 each- unsure of price checked online)
Cascade $3.99
Total ~$27
Use:
$5 off $25 from save-a-lot email sign up
use $3/5 from 9/26 red plum
use 2 BOGO Swiffer Dust & Shine coupons from 9/26 P&G
use 4 $1 Swiffer Dust & Shine coupon from P&G book I got in the mail
or from Put clean in your cart book
Use 2 BOGO Mr Clean coupon from P&G 8/29
Use 4 0.75 off Mr Clean surface cleaner from P&G i got in mail
or use $1 off from 8/20 P&G if buying bathroom cleaner
Use 0.25 off cascade from 8/29 P&G
Total close to nothing (of course i’m not 100% sure what the price of mr clean is- could be cheaper)
correction: Use 1 BOGO and 2 0.75 off…..i was doing it both ways in my head
If you are buying two mr clean items, you can only use two coupons. One mq per item; $.75 q counts as your q for the first item and use the bogo q to get the second free when you buy the first one. You can’t also apply another $.75 q to either item. Make sense?
Same for the dust and shine; one coupon per item. You may use one bogo coupon and one $x/1 coupon per set.
For the dust and shine you may then add two $1/1 PUBLIX swiifer coupons (clean in your cart) per set, but only one per item of each type of q.
You can also use two publix $x/1 q’s per set, but the hardfast rule is one store coupon and one Manu q per item.
Mr Clean is 3.19 at my store Gainesville FL.
Why do we need to include the “name of retailer” on the paper we mail in if this is only a publix promotion? Are we sure that it is? Because I’d much rather reach my $25 threshold at CVS this week with the toothbrush ECB deal…
I think its also good at Shaws and a couple of regional only grocery stores.
I called the rebate hotline yesterday and was told it’s not just Publix participating. The rep asked what stores I had in my area and told me whether they were participating or not. I have Target, Walmart, Kmart, Publix, Kroger, Harris Teeter, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid in my area. I was told of all my stores only Publix, Harris Teeter, and Kmart were participants.
I was hoping to do a scenario at CVS or Rite Aid, but it wouldn’t count towards the rebate :0( HTH
Great info. Thanks!
I DID THE SWIFFER DUST AND SHINE WITH THE .75/1 MQ + BOGO + TARGET Q + PUT CLEAN IN YOUR CART PUBLIX Q…. TWO COUPONS FOR EACH ITEM. I BOUGHT EIGHT. IT WAS A SWEET DEAL.
I ALSO DID THE DEAL WITH TIDE STAIN RELEASE AND AM SUBMITTING IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE – DO Y’ALL THINK THAT IS OK? I AM NEW AT THIS. I THOUGHT SINCE I BOUGHT THE ITEMS AND AM NOT GOING TO BE COLLECTING TWO COOKWARE SETS FOR MYSELF IT WOULD BE OK? ANY THOUGHTS? I WILL WAIT UNTIL I HEAR SOME COMMENTS….
Melissa: I think it’s great that you are thinking of getting one for someone else since you purchased the items yourself. I believe the limit is one per household/address so if you have them send it to another address that should be ok.
Go for it. I thought about doing the same thing.
I was planning on doing the same thing & getting it for my mom.
The best I can come up with is
3 tide stain releases
1 bounty
2 swiffer dust and shine
my OOP looks to be aboutt 9.00
I only have one of the clean in your cart books, so I don’t have a lot to work with. Any other suggestions? I have all of the matching coupons store and Man.
My store never got the Clean Cart booklets and my inserts didn’t have the $3/5 coupons. For some reason, I’m drawing a blank on coming up with a scenerio with my lack of coupons. Any one have any suggestions?
I had an awesome coupon for ‘buy 2 Olay moisturizers, get an Olay Regenerist rollerball free’. I have no idea where I got this coupon from, but I used it with a $1/1 moisturizer and a $3/1 moisturizer, and got $35 of P&G for around $12. More OOP than other scenarios, but a lot saved, too – IF you have that regenerist Q.
Mizzy S, Jamilla, Tala or other Broward So. Florida couponers,
Do you know any stores that accept Target (or Whole Foods) coupons as competitors? I can’t find any. I’m looking for a coupon friendly store. Especially to do this deal where you’ll need lots of coupons for a few items. Any Suggestions… thanks in advance!
The only Publix I know of in my area that accepts competitors coupons is the one at Coral Ridge (Oakland Park and US1). I don’t really shop there alot but there is a big poster on the window that advertises that fact that they accept competitiors coupons. There is also a Target in that Plaza too.
No luck for me either on the Target competitor coupons. I have stopped trying altogether.
Not for me. I am in Coral Springs, and my Publix on Wiles and Coral Springs Drive only takes Winn Dixie. I was told this from only one person that answered the phone. I think I’ll ask someone else when I go in today π
I am a PT cashier at Sawgrass Publix and I was told last week that we were now accepting Target Q’s as competitor Q’s. When I asked the manager a few months back, he told me we were not but now I understand we are. These q’s come right off the bottom line for Publix and actually cost the company quite a bit of money but I guess Publix finally realized that WalMart & Target are grocery competitors.
Don’t take my word on it yet because I have not confirmed this myself but I work tonight from 5:30-11 so I will try and confirm. Overall, my store is extremely coupon friendly as many of the cashiers are couponers and we have alot of regular customers who use ALOT of coupons and know of this website. To those of you close by….stop by and check out this store. It’s a nice store, average to large size and located across from Sawgrass Mills Mall.
JoAnn
Hi JoAnn,
I live in Coral Springs, so it’s a bit of a hike to go to Sawgrass (thought I do love that mall)! I wish our store was as coupon friendly as yours. Mine only accepts Winn Dixie and Albertsons π
Filling out my form right now, and it states “official offer form must be obtained from Publix” at the bottom, and says “complete this original offer form” in 2 other places, but nothing about a sheet of paper being acceptable.
Question since I am new to this whole couponing and rebate world.
Can this be for ANY P&G items? or are there specific ones? Thanks in advance.
I’m in Cape Coral, and the Publix closest to me takes Winn Dixie AND Target coupons. Since Winn Dixie usually prints out a $10/$50 Q every week I do my Winn Dixie shopping first and then use the $10/$50 at Publix. π
I was thinking of doing this:
2 Tide Stain Releas – $5.99
2 Swiffer Dust and Shine – $2.69
2 Swiffer refills – $4.75
Total = $26.86
Minus
– (2) $3.00 Tide
– (2) Buy Swiffer starter kit get refill free
– (2) $1.00 Tide Publix coupon
– (4) $1.00 Swiffer Publix coupon
– (1) $3.00 when you buy 5 P&G products
Total after coupons: $2.36 plus tax
Does that look correct? I could also add the bounty coupons as well.
Well I need the Swiffer WetJet starter kit. So here’s my scenario:
1 Swiffer WetJet Starter Kit – $21.99
1 Swiffer Refill – $2.38
1 Bounty Single Roll – $1.95
1 Tide Stain Release – $5.99
Total = 32.31
Minus
-(1) $5.00 off One Swiffer Wetjet or Sweepervac starter kit (P&G coupon)
-(1) $1.00 off One Swiffer Product (Publix coupon)
-(1) B1Swiffer Starter Kit G1 Swiffer refill Free $2.38 (P&G 9/26)
-(1) $3.00 off One Tide Stain Release (P&G Coupon)
-(1) $1.00 off One Tide Stain Release (Publix coupon)
-(1) Free Single Roll Bounty Paper Towel $1.95 (Publix Coupon)
=$17.98
This is one I’m debating on. What you guys think?
I just realized I can use a $1/1 Swiffer on the Refill as well and a .25 MQ on the Bounty Roll bringing my total down to $16.73
Since the Huggies are on sale for 19.99, I could buy the box of huggies and I could use the “free huggies baby wipes tub” from the “one stop one store” book… But that wouldnt equal the 25.00. I dont have any “put clean in your cart” books or the $3/5 coupons. Can someone help me to come up with a scenario for this? Thanks in advance!!
Ok, I dont think Huggies is a P&G product, is it? Maybe I could get a box of Pampers for 19.99 and use the $1.00 coupon in last weeks insert and then get a downy and use the 1.00 off coupon in last weeks paper, and the 1.00 off downy in the Publix coupon sheet I got today. Would this be right?
Crystal, how about this scenario:
1 box of Pampers – 19.99
2 tubs of Pampers wipes – $2.99/ea
1 single roll of Bounty – $1.99
Total: $27.96
Use:
$2 wyb pampers diapers and wipes, PG 8/29(exp 9/30)
$2 Pampers diapers, Publix coupon (exp 9/30)
2-$1 Pampers wipes, Publix coupon (exp 9/30)
Free roll of bounty wyb 3 participating products, Publix coupon (exp 9/30)
$.25 Bounty coupon, PG 9/26
Your total OOP $19.47. You’re paying less than the original price for the box of pampers for everything! If your store takes Rite Aid as a competitor, use a $5/$25 coupon to make it an even sweeter deal. Good luck!
I went to the Publix on Pleasant Hill in Duluth, GA today. They are usually awesome and will accept any coupon (even drugstores), but not today. The girl that checked me out was rude and tried to not let me use some coupons. She even tried to convince me that she’d already rang them when she hadn’t. She then made the bagger pull my bags out of the cart so she could go through my items again because she didn’t think I’d bought the right number. There was a lady (using the term loosely) behind me buying nothing more than a kit kat huffing and puffing the whole time.
Anyway, I got…
4 Swiffer Dust and Shine – $3.79
2 Tide Stain Release – $5.99
Total $27.14
I used:
(2) B1G1 Swiffer Dust and Shine(P&G 9/26)
(2) .50 Swiffer Dust and Shine (P&G 9/26)
(2) $3 Tide Stain Release (P&G 8/29)
(4) $1 off any Swiffer product (Store Coupon, P&G Breast Cancer Display)
(2) $1 off any Tide product (Store Coupon, P&G Breast Cancer Display)
OOP=$5.56
**They would not let me use the $3/5 because I already had one store coupon for each item. If your store lets you do it it would have been $2.56 OOP.
I picked up a handful of the P&G breast cancer display coupon sheets last night at the Killian Hill Publix. I almost missed them, they were by the front door. They didn’t have them at the Pleasant Hill Publix.
Yes they are right, one store coupon per item, to use the 3/5 with the other coupons would be double stacking- which is against their policy.
Be aware that publix registers don’t match q to item, so the cashier has to do that- the registers would allow you to scan just about anything. That doesn’t make it right.
Please, everyone, use coupons reponsibly, so publix remains so coupon friendly!
(4) Tide Stain Release 5.99 Each
(7) Bounty Single Roll 1.99 Each
Total= $37.89
Minus
(1) $5.00 of 25 (Rite Aid)
(4) $3.00 off One Tide Stain Release (P&G Coupon)
(2) $1.00 off any Bounty (P&G Coupon)
(1) .25 off any Bounty (P&G Coupon)
(2) $3 off 5 P&G products (Publix)
(4) 3.00 off One Tide Stain Release (Publix)
Total before Tax .39 cents
TAX Total 2.30 and Food tax was -0.01
I Paid 2.68
I did not have βput clean in your cartβ books.
I came up with a deal using the 1.50 off Nyquil and Dayquil qs. I purchased the trial sizes (no size restrictions on q); 4 Swiffer Dust and Shine; and free roll of Bounty. The trials are 1.29 each so I had about 4 dollars overage.
3 swiffer dusters handle= 8.07
3 duster refills=13.77
1 gain 50oz=3.99
=25.83
3 1.00 dusters from decor done right
3 buy starter get free refills (p&g 9-26)
6 Publix q’s 1.00 any swiffer
1 3.00 off 5 (ss 9-26)
=.06+ tax
Will that work?
That looks right to me, as you have 6 items, 6 MQ and 6SQ for the items.
Sounds like a good deal π
But wait, can you use the “but starter get free refills” on this scenario? Is the handles consider a “starter”? I’m not familiar with this line, so I don’t know, so I’m actually not sure this would work.
I was thinking of doing this today as well…
3 Swiffer starter kits – $2.69 ea
3 Swiffer Refills – $4.75 ea
2 Bounty’s – $1.97 ea
5 Febreze Set & Refresh – $2.99 ea
Total – $41.21
– (3) Swiffer buy starter kit get refill free – $4.75 x 3
– (2) Free bounty when you buy 3 P&G – $1.97 x 2
– (6) Publix Swiffer product – $1.00 x 6
– (5) Febreze Set & Refresh – $1.50 x 5 (Houseparty coupon)
– (5) Febreze Set & Refresh Publix coupon – $1.00 x 5
– (1) Save $3.00 when you buy 5 P&G priduct – $3.00 x 1
Total = $1.52
I know I could probably get away with using more of the Bounty Publix coupons and more of the $3.00 P&G coupon but I rather not go overboard.
I did the following deal:
(2) Swiffer Dust & Shine @ $3.79 each
(2) Natural Instinct Hair color @ $7.99 each
(1) Pepto Bismol
Total purchased = $25.35 + $1.52 tax = $26.87
Coupons Used = $24.28
(1) BOGO Swiffer = $3.79
(1) $1.00 MQ Swiffer product
(1) $.50 MQ Swiffer
(2) $1.00 Publix Swiffer = $2.00
(1) Free MQ Natural Instincts = $7.99 (from Facebook a few months ago)
(1) $3.00 MQ Natural Instincts
(2) $1.00 Publix Natural Instincts = $2.00
(1) $1.00 Publix Pepto Bismol
(1) $3/5 P&G
Total Out Of Pocket = $2.59 Including Tax
Since ALL the P&G products are taxable, tax must be included. The minimum purchase required is $25 which would be $1.50 tax so even if I had q’s for all $25 worth, I would still have paid the $1.50 tax. I only paid $1.52 tax. so $2.59 with tax included is a sweet deal and I am thrilled.
Also, to those that used the $3 MQ for Tide Stain & Release please know you used an erroneous MQ. The $3 off q was for the $11.99 size of Tide Stain & Release and NOT the size on sale for $5.99. I considered using it but it was just not right and did not want to be embarrassed at the register because the coupon was NOT for the size I was buying.
I’m happy with my deal and this was my 2nd deal. I will be using this receipt to get a set for my Mother and if I can find another good deal, I’ll do it a 3rd time for a Christmas Gift.

If you’re concerned about using coupons properly, you might want to know that you can’t stack two publix coupons per item, and that’s what a lot if people here are doing by using pq’s off individual items in addition to the 3/5 q. Store policy is one publix q per item.
The 3/5 q is not attached to any one product it says on your next order so how is that using two pq’s on one item?
Sorry I should of said on your total order not next order.
That’s the way I interpreted it as did the cashier at Publix who happened to be a customer service team leader. I guess we’re wrong!
well, my coupons said specifically- this 26 oz product. verified by the customer service mgr AND the store mgr at a Publix that has very low number of customers using coupons. … .so i was able to use those and the 3.00 off mani’s along with the 3/5 since it was not attached to any particular product…. .(i did purchase other items as well)
Actually, using the $3 MQ for Tide Stain Release was not erroneous. My coupon says 15-34 ct duo-pac (and also could have been used on powder or liquid) & the 5.99 size was for the 18 count, so the coupon would be good.
Here is my scenario:
Buy 4 Tied liquid laundry detergents 5.99
1 Bounty paper towels 1.99
1 Downy fabric softner 3.19
Use:
4 1.50 off Tide
4 1.00 off Tide (target coupon)
4 1.00 Publix coupon (put clean in you cart booklet)
1 1.50 off Downy
1 1.00 off Downy (Family dollar coupon)
1 free Bounty single roll paper towel
1 $3/5 P&G products
1 $5/25 (rite aid coupon)
Total Free plus 0.83 overage!!!!
Did I do everything right???
Publix corporate policy is one mq and one store q per item. Your scenario is using three coupons per item on the tide. Some stores may allow this, but it goes against corporate policy.
Does anyone know if you can use a copy of the receipt for this cookware promotion? JW, because if we are also submitting for the P&G Everyday Savings booklet, that promo requires the original receipt.
It has to be an original receipt
Before I was able to finally obtain mine, I called the customer service number and they told me that all the info can be jotted down on a note paper and sent in with the receipt. So I would think that a copy would be fine too. However, I did grab several extras if anyone wants. You can email me at Lorinbob@myacc.net.
If you make a mistake and need an extra ORIGINAL receipt, ask your cashier to print you a duplicate. We have the ability to make a reprint of your receipt so you can submit an ORIGINAL but duplicate receipt. I have done this when I accidentally purchased items for more than one rebate on one transaction. The receipt states “duplicate” on the top but it is an ORIGINAL duplicate. It’s obvious that the people that handle these mail-ins know what this is because I have used duplicate original receipts twice for mail-in offers to different companies. I wouldn’t try sending in 2 receipts (original and duplicate original) for the same rebate because they might need to enter the transaction number into a computer to process the rebate. I don’t know if this is true but there has to be a way to make sure that the same transaction/CRT is not used for multiple and identical rebates.
Most of the scenarios above contain Tide for 5.99, and then using a $3 off Tide Stain Release coupon. Tide Stain Release is not 5.99…it’s 11.99. I don’t think Publix is reimbursed for coupons when they’re used on the wrong items.
the 26 oz was on sale for 5.99 at my local stores, down $1 from regular price. And there were 3.00 publix coupons attached to each and every product.
I went to 2 stores to see if they had the $3 Publix coupons attached to any of the Tides, but they didn’t have any. I was bummed π
Whoo Hoo, I finally found the forms today!! I think now that it’s October the stores will be putting the displays out. They were several tearpads on a stand by the Hallmark section. I ended up with a few extras when I was getting mine as they are very thin. Let me know if you need (I can mail it on Monday).
Jamilla, would you mind mailing me one?
I could email you something to trade??
Thanks!
