Here is the Publix weekly ad starting 9/30 (9/29 for some)
This is the metro Atlanta version. Please note that prices and/or products may vary by region. If you find any additional coupons let me know and I will get them added!
When you see the checkmark –those items are either a great stockpile price or a stockpile price with coupon(s). Please note that some items are designated stock up price based on a coupon doubling. Since each person will have a different stock up price based on need…I tried to list the best ones I noticed.

DO NOT CUT AND PASTE THE ENTIRE AD WITH MATCHUPS TO ANOTHER SITE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!
Join me at BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering!
Thank you for getting this up so early! It really helps me in my planning that I always do on Mondays. 🙂
How sad is it that I do a little happy dance when I check in at lunch and see the sneak peek is up?? LOL Thank you!! !
Not sad.. i felt like i was stalking this site this morning waiting for it to post! lol I love the sneak peaks it makes things soo much easier!!
I’ve been stalking the site, too! Just waiting to make my list…. Thanks!!!
Cracking up here!! Stalking it all morning long!!! Im-patiently waiting!! Thanks Michelle!!
Girl I do too! My sister and I always try to see it before the other one does- lol
I could get excited about a few things this week if our Publix didn’t stop letting us stack coupons! We can’t even use a Publix store coupon with a manufacturer!! So frustrating!
Is this true for the FL & Al Publix too? I haven’t heard of it…
I live in North Florida and we can still stack!
I’m in Tuscaloosa, AL and they just changed the rules. I’m not sure about Florida. I just wish they would all stick to one policy. I think ours changed because so many people in our area have learned about couponing and lots have been going to two specific stores and we’ve heard from the cashiers that Publix is losing money on the competitor coupons so they will no longer allow us to stack. Well, they’re going to lose more because now I will just go to Rite Aid or CVS and get the deal instead. I love Publix but I’m just mad because I think they are tired of dealing with the sudden influx of couponers.
beverly,
do you know which ones in tuscaloosa, I also live there. I talked to the one I go to at 69 and they said they have a new manager who is considering not allowing target ones. The cashiers told me to speak to the manager and ask him to continue to allow it. The cashiers are apparently also pleading that competitor coupons be allowed. It might be worth a shot.
That stinks, but it’s not surprising. It’s only a matter of time before more stores cut back on the coupons they’re willing to accept. It’s sad that some ruin it by using more than one $/$$ competitor coupon. I am thrilled to be allowed to use ONE of those. People must realize that at some point, they will start losing money and have to cut back. The greedy ones will eventually ruin it for everyone! 🙁
I know the one in Northport and the one in Northridge are no longer allowing stacks. The one in Northport will take the competitor coupons and the $/$$ but the on in Northridge will no longer take the $/$$. I’ve contacted Corporate but I haven’t heard anything. The manager in Northport is not really all that nice. Anytime I have question about something she just kinda shrugs me off like she doesn’t want to deal with me when I’m just trying to make sure I go by the rules!!
I’m in south Fl and we can still stack.
I live in the Prattville area and our store also just drastically changed their coupon policy. They used to take all the competitor coupons, now they will only take Winn-Dixie. What is upsetting to me is that rather than inform everybody nicely, they wait until you’re in line using the coupons to tell you they won’t take them anymore. So, while I still shop Publix, I am not there nearly as often anymore.
This reply is to Christy in Prattville.I have been so upset by the change that I now shop at WalMart(gasp!).Target has also been very Q friendly lately. Many cashiers at both places use Q’s themselves.Of course Rite Aid and CVS are always Q friendly so I have been going to all these other stores too.I only go to Publix for the really good sales combined with Q’s.Hope they change soon because I really loved shopping there.
Hwy 69 Publix manager told me effective this past saturday, they would no longer accept any walgreens, cvs, or rite aid coupons and the northport publix will only accept 1 competitor coupon. The manager told me corporate had made the decision and all publix’s in tuscaloosa will follow those guidelines. Northport Publix is not coupon friendly, I tend to you use the northridge publix for that reason.
Well, I was upset about the news, but it made me realize that I wasn’t really using that many competitor store coupons anyway. I have in the past, but not recently. Publix has a ton of coupons available for things that are on sale in their store. I think that you still save a ton of money shopping publix just using their store coupons and MQ’s–that they STILL double up to and including $.50 at my store. We don’t want to be greedy folks. They don’t HAVE to do any of it. I went yesterday to to do my weekly trip and I used only publix store coupons and MQ’s and (1) save a lot $5/$25 (my last one from doing the e-mail thing) and spent only $50.03 and saved $121.42!! Publix is still my go to for grocery shopping. I drive 30 miles to go to my store and I think it is WELL worth it–even without the competitor drugstore coupons!! =)
the founder of Publix, George Jenkins, once said “There is nothing we can do for a customer that will put us out of business.” I agree, it’s what managers decide NOT to do that will lose business!
I went for a quick Glade and Tide run this morning and used several coupons. The customer service person came over to tell me the new policy for the Jacksonville/Orange Park stores because she knows I am a frequent couponer. The stores that I shop at will now only accept Target, Food Lion, and Winn Dixie coupons and they will no longer accept expired Publix coupons. This is the new policy for the stores on and around Blanding blvd.
And they are still ok with stacking.
Hi Sarah
I shop at the blanding blvd stores too. Now I can throw away all the publix booklets I’ve been holding to(LOL))
how about save a lot? is it still a competitor?
Save a lot is still a competitor for us! 🙂
I’m in south Fl and we can only use a TRUE grocery competitor Q, such as Winn Dixie, Sorbaro’s and Albertson’s. They do not accept expired store Q’s, unless it is still active in the system. (which means you might get 1 day out of it at most). BUT, w can stack a store Q and a product Q OR a product Q and a competitor Q. Not a store and a competitor.
on the expired Publix Coupons…get a manager to inital the coupon if the product is out of stock. Smile and mention you came in a timely matter and are willingly to wait for the product if you can use the coupon later. (with the raincheck you will be getting for the sale item that is out of stock.)
I live in Pensacola, Fl, but also shop into Fairhope, Orange Beach, Al publix stores….
Thanks!!
Hey Bonnie – The Fairhope store will still accept (and stack) competitor’s coupons but they are abiding very strictly by the wording on the coupon. Most Target Qs say “one per transaction” so they’re only taking one of each Target Q. Also, the Wags Monthly Book Qs say “one per offer” so same thing. Not sure about the other stores near you.
Wow, that’s new.
My Publix has been cutting back on competitors but it’s still perfectly fine to use a manufacturer’s with a Publix.
Some Publix stores are getting strict on their coupon policies. I tried to use a competitor coupon at one Publix and they refused, so I left w/o buying groceries and nicely, told them that I could use it at another one. The mgr insisted none of the Publix should accept it, but I went to my regular Publix and it wasn’t an issue. And then used it at another Publix up the road. It is really dependent upon each store.
But I am not sure why Publix won’t accept a Store Q with a Man. Q, that doesn’t make sense. Because with the Man. Q they will get their money back. Have you checked with the store’s mgr,or tried contacting corporate. I can understand certain competitor coupons, but I don’t see the point in not allowing to stack Qs. I would complain to corporate about that.
I emailed Corporate and told them I didn’t understand because there is a Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, and Family Dollar all in the same corner of the Publix I shop at and all those stores allow you to stack and it says so in their policies! I told them I would be going there now because of this. It doesn’t make sense to me either. I can get past using a competitor with a manufacturer, but I can’t get past not being able to stack with a PUBLIX coupon.
I’m in the Birmingham area, and in this part of ALabama I am having no problem stackin MQ with either Publix or competitors Q’s, however, they have definitely tightened up on who they accept as competitors in the last several months.
I was shopping at the Northriver/Northridge Location of Publix in Tuscaloosa,AL They told me on my last shopping trip that they would not take Winn Dixie Catalina Coupons, CVS, RITE AID or any coupon deals that you had to have a reward card to receive and that they would not take a mfg and competitor coupon together one coupon per item and that Targe coupons are still acceptable but no stacking
and no competitor $/$$ off would be accepted either.. I also complained to coporate, its like they make it up as they go along
I normally use the $/$$ on things not on sale so the item I bought at a discount I really could get cheaper somewhere else but I go ahead and buy it there with the xtra off and then then they may have the same coupon on sale the followig week b1g1 anyway so I dont see how they could lose on purchases like that..
VERY FRUSTRATED.. about the changes!
my store has a big cvs right in front of it and ALWAYS took CVS..but I was informed yesterday they no longer are 🙁
Missy are you in AL? My store in Pelahm takes Target Qs but the one ni dotwntown Bham won’t. My store takes CVS but not Rite Aid—it can be very frustrating at times when you have a plan and have pulled together your list, coupons and have a child in tow only to find out at the register things have changed.
I hear you! Same here, every week something different..and yes having crabbing little kids with me doesnt help lol. I’m actually in Miami
are you talking about the Huntly Pelham Store. They take CVS coupons now?
We had a scare here in Savannah, GA last week. Someone posted on facebook that none of the Publix here would take black/white IPs anymore. Imagine the panic that broke out! They would only take internet coupons if they were in color. I guess several people called and within 24 hours the decision was reversed. Whew.
one of the cashiers told me this morning that they Northport Al store would most likely stop taking the $/$$ coupons because people were trying to copy and use them so i think if we did print in color they would not think that to be the case even though people could still copy them with a color copier…
I need to respectfully disagree with the statement above. I live in Bham but work in Tuscaloosa, and I know for a fact that they still allow Publix coupons to be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons. I actually just called a couple of the stores customer service desks to check as well. I think where you might be confused is that they are limiting the competitor coupons that they will take, especially the drug store if a rewards card (like an Extra Care Card) is required. However, they will still take a Publix and a MQ on the same item. I actually don’t know of any store (Publix or not) that won’t allow a store coupon and manufacturer coupon on the same item. Maybe just avoid the Northport store, although I’ve never had problems there. I just don’t want people in Tuscaloosa to think that couponing is over! 🙂
Let me clarify – I am disagreeing with the statement at the top that Tuscaloosa stores won’t allow a Publix Q and MQ on the same item…
I didn’t have problems there either until now and It’s the North River location and the Hwy 69 south location, I called ahead today and the Northport Location behind McDonalds is still taking the $/$$ for Now they said but the stacking policies have been very confusing they seem to be changing daily and fot other peoples experiences and problems go to http://www.couponingcentsal.blogspot.com and http://www.southernsavingsanddeals.blogspot.com
Beverly,
I just used a Rite Aid $5 off $25 at the one on Rice Mine Road on Saturday. When did you find out about this? What cashier was it?
A friend of mine mentioned that they soon would not be taking the $5/$25. I have no problem using those at the one in Northport though. However, last Friday, I went to the store in Northport and tried to use a Publix store coupon on an item and a manufacturer coupon (I had done this same thing a few days ago) and the cashier informed me that they would no longer be allowing people to stack coupons at all. I also had a raincheck on the All laundry and I had a manufacturer coupon and a Target coupon. He gave me the Target coupons back saying again we couldn’t stack. I had bought two bottles of the All laundry the week before using both coupons. I’m not trying to get people to stop couponing. That would be crazy!! I just want people to be aware in case they walk in expecting to spend so much and then get informed otherwise like I did.
Sounds to me that it could be the cashier is confused. Did you ever talk to a manager at the store? Or perhaps try calling the store and asking.
The cashier called the manager on duty over to her register and they went threw my coupons together and both explained about meetings they had about coupons and what could be accepted and not accepted now at their store, the feel they are losing money on competitor coupons…per their meeting.
one of the cashier’s told me they we not taking the $5/$25 coupons anymore from competitors she said people were taking advantage of them. Again this is from the one on 69 south. I know that store is also not taking walgreens, cvs or rite aid anymore.
Hey guys. I was told about the change in the coupon policy at the Northport location & called Saturday to confirm. I had just shopped there on Wednesday & had no problem stacking. However, the manager confirmed that the policy had changed & that they were working on educating all of their cashiers of the change. No more stacking – they will continue to take the same competitor coupons but if you decide to use a competitor, then you can’t use a manufacturer coupon with it – even if it is a Publix store coupon. I emailed corporate as well. I look forward to the weekly post on here also but admit to not being as excited knowing that I won’t be able to stack those coupons for the deals. 🙁
I am still grateful that the one in Northport takes the $5/$25 but I have a feeling that it may not last long. I am just really not that excited this week because of all these recent changes. Now instead of doing all my shopping at one store, I’ll have to go to different ones to get the deals. I guess I’m just cheap and their competitors are really just right there anyway.
They told me this on Friday that they were no longer going to use 2 coupons per item and that they were not going to Winn Dixie catalina coupons or reward coupons if you had to have a card to get the coupon it would not be honored there, and I tried my best to explain that the Rite Aid $/$$ was not from having the card it was Video Values and anyone could watch the videos to receive the coupons and then print them out and use the Assistant manager had to approve it for me to use it on my purchase and they said that they would ask the manger but next time I would more than likely not be allowed to use it.. sad =(
My stores takes one Publix OR competitor with a vendor coupon. Maximim of 2 coupons per item.
Each store determines which competitor coupons to accept based on their locations. Mine is not close to any Target stores – yet!
My Publix in Central Florida will allow the stack with no problem, but will only accept other grocery store coupons as ” competitors” .. No Target, Walgreens, etc. We now have virtually no other grocery stores in the area, since Albertsons and Winn Dixie here have both closed. But I do love my Publix.
What area of Central Florida? I’m in East Orlando. They should accept Target Coupons because Target stores are all incorporating a full grocery section. And there is pretty much a Target store on every corner, just about. I know mine won’t take Walgreens or CVS. Some take Family Dollar and/or General Dollar while others don’t.
I am in St. Cloud FL and my publix does allow Target as competitor coupons. I hope they do not change that since I have pretty much given up on Target until they get their computers and coupons on the same page, lol.
Thank you! Is the colgate toothpaste for Total?
Thanks, Michelle for all you do. I enjoy Mondays! Always looking forward to sneak peek and sweeps….you rock!!!
Thanks!! Looks pretty good so far!!
There’s a tearpad q for $1.50 off Crystal Light 12 qt, expires 10-6-10
I alos have 1.50/1 Publix qs from cooking with Kraft. Yippee!!!
Me2!! YAY for FREE Crystle Light!
What store did you find the $1.50 off Crystal Light coupons?
I have several $1 off Cinnamon Toast Crunch coupons, from a publix booklet, but I don’t remember which one! but, yay!!
It’s the $15 one. I used those on the 50%off sale.
There is a blinkie for the Country Crock Spreads .55/1
Yes, and if you use the blinkie with the .55/1 PQ in the YAB flyer, it is a MM!!!! I’ve been pulling those blinkies hoping for this to stock up!!! Yeah
that publix coupon is for the much bigger size, which is not included.
Wow, you are right. I totally overlooked that…probably because I wanted so much for it to be FREE!!!! Oh well. Thanks for clarifying my mistake
I couldn’t get the $.40/1 printable Q to work, can anyone else? Same with the $1/3 printable Hamburger Helper, site says that coupon no longer available.
hey are you wanting the shedd’s spread $.40/1? I posted just posted it and then I read your post. It’s the direct link. I had to hunt it out, but I found it. Here it is, if this is the one you were looking for: http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=zi2gdwt82441300&bt=vg&o=63611&c=UL&p=ish8QM5b
Thanks but I realized that I had some of the $.55/1 Qs from a blinkie that I will be using instead. If my store doubled then I would want the $.40 but since I live in FL, I don’t get that bonus.
Thanks Michelle!!Looks like a great week for me!!:)
Looks like free pledge
Yay! FREE Pledge, that’s exciting! Not too bad of a week for me. Some good stockpile prices on some items, with some good Qs. Time to start stocking up on Halloween candy. Though it makes me nervous it might get eaten prior to Oct. 31, but I will stick it in the freezer, hopefully deterring the sweet tooth.
Yes! I have already hit my candy pile!!! Every Monday I vow to start that diet!! Oh well maybe next week. LOL
Save for Halloween! If you can!
Don’t wait until Monday! Even if you’ve already hit the candy pile, you don’t have to continue hitting it until next Monday…you can start “that diet” now 🙂
Are we supposed to give this candy away? Now and Valentine’s is when I stock up on candy for me!!! Only times of year I allow myself to buy Reese’s and Candy Corn. I have to REALLY love someone to share them. Isn’t that terrible?
Not terrible at all. Mmmm.. candy corn. Most kids these days don’t get really excited about candy corn anymore. We’re lucky to be able to keep ours all for ourself. Ha! I’m also thankful that most kids don’t like those black and orange wax-wrapped peanut butter taffy thingys. I LOVE those! I wish you could get them any time of the year. There have been several Halloweens where I couldn’t find any in town because all of the old timers and people like me that love classic candies cleaned out the shelves. Wish me luck this year. Haven’t tasted one in about 2 years!! Enjoy your treats, Ms. Carrie. 🙂
Thanks!!
Can anyone help me find the .50/1 Fiber One Bars. All I am finding is the muffin coupons. Thanks.
I can’t find it either….I wonder if they’ve switched it on us. =(
There’s a $1/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch in the Better at Home Booklet.
Also, the $1.50/1 Crystal Light coupon from cooking with Kraft will make for a money maker.
I should add Cinnamon Toast is a manufacturer’s and Crystal Light is a Publix.
if your store still accepts expired PQ’s and you still have the Free Wheat Thins Q wyb Crystal Light Q (exp. 9/15, I think) you can score free crackers to top it off!
I wish, but they only take it a day or two expired…
There are .40/2 and .60/2 Pace Salsa or Picante Sauce 15 oz or larger in the inserts a while back. They expire 11/30/2010
I thought I remembered seeing Q’s for that somewhere. I’ll be going through my inserts again looking for those! Thanks!
Youre welcome! Glad I could help you out!! =)
my all you coupon for Hunts was for $1/2 so even better than the $1/3. Just in time too i am running low. also, the $2/2 publix coupon for pledge in the family favorites booklet, it says you can NOT combine with any other coupons.
Ask you should still be able to. All the coupons in that booklet read that but I was able to do that with other things in the book and MQ
I always thought that statement meant that it can’t be used with another Publix coupon but can be used with a Manufacturer coupon.
Even though the coupon says it, it is Publix policy to let you use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item.
Thanks so much,Michelle! 🙂
Thank you as well Michelle! You make my Monday every week with your sneak peak!!
I found a sticky on the Crystal Light for $1.50 OFF 1 yesterday.
There was a BOGO coupon on Facebook for Butterfinger Snackerz the other day. True BOGO means 2 free bags!!
It’s for the size you get at the check-out counter, 1.28oz.
I got excited too, then looked and realized.
i just printed this coupon and it wont owrk on the sale. Q is for 1.28 oz size and the sale is for the larger 9-12 oz pkg. darn!!
This facebook Q was posted when the last Publix BOGO on these was going on and I was able to use the Q even though the size was not right because you are buying a LARGER bag than the Q calls for. In this case, as I recall, the Q states “max value of $___) and the cashier just took off the max value.
If the FLIP Q is still current, you can stack it for an even better deal!
FLIPs are only good for 7 days now.
My store takes expired competitor qs! I already used all my FLIPs though.
Thanks, Michelle!
I have .55/1 Krusteaz cookie mix peelies in my binder – not sure how long ago I found them though. I think they expire 10/30 but I don’t have my binder handy at the moment.
if the breyers ice cream includes the smooth and dreamy bars there was 1.00/1 coupons out.
The Breyers ice cream listed is 48 oz. LOVE those bars and hoping for a BOGO too!
Just a heads up…when I tried to use the .75 Halls Refresh Q at another venue recently that had the 30ct bags on sale, it did not work out. The Refresh came in 20ct bags.
Thank you for doing this week after week! I sooooo look fwd to sneak peak Monday!!!!
the fuel for school booklet has 2.00 off school supplies wyb 2 sunshine cheez its.
Breakstone had a printable $1/2 coupon recently, as well as the Kraft $5/5 Q. Breakstone is a Kraft dairy item.
I believe the Kraft $5/5 for Breakstone requires a 16 oz carton or larger. Check it to make sure cos this weeks sale is specifcally for the 8 oz.
Julie is right – the Q is for 16 oz. only. Good thing, because I was about to have to figure out what to do with 5 more cartons of sour cream! =)
I know what you mean-I have 8 big cartons now! Keep your unopened ones upside down and they are good for a few weeks past their date.
That works with yogurt as well 🙂
okay…so what does the “upside down” part have to do with longer shelf life? Inquiring minds want to know! LOL
It keeps air from getting into the carton so it keeps longer.
LOL thanks! The things we learn here…. =)
I was just about to post about the Kraft $5 one, but that stinks the size isn’t right!
Do you mean the $5 off of 5? I have 1 coupon like that left and was planning on using it with the Kraft Cheese slices but I can’t find any size restrictions on it. Where did you find it? Thanks.
When you print out the Q, the size restrictions and brands are listed on the rest of the page.
That was my problem then. When I printed the coupon a few weeks ago, I just cut the coupon and didn’t pay attention to the rest of the stuff that printed. Usually, when I realize the printer has finished with the coupon then I just cancel the print job and don’t even see the rest of the stuff. Kraft should really have sizes listed (probably too long for this coupon)on the coupon itself. Out of curiosity, what was the size for the Kraft Singles?
there is no size for the kraft singles (=

I can’t find the Nature’s Own bread coupon anymore. What zip code can it be found at? Thanks.
90210
Apparently I had already printed it the maximum amount so they were at the end. I don’t remember printing it at all though. Hhhmm…
Sarah,
I had this same problem. My husband told me to clear my cache and after I did, I could print the coupon.
HTH,
Judy
How do you do that?
umm, is the size right on the kingsford? 12.5 oz is aweful small for the price, lol! PS i figure it’s a typo but just gotta have fun, :0)
Ok, question.
Coca Cola is B2 Get 2.
I have a coupon for, I believe, a dollar off 4.
Do I need to Buy 4, Get 4 free to use that coupon, or can I use it for the B2G2?
you should be able to use it on the b2g2.
I live in AL and don’t see the buy 2 get 2 free in the ad or marked on the shelves this morning 🙁 I so wanted to use my coupon on it too!!
Monday….one of my favorite days of the week on FACEBOOK…to see this ad!
FACEBOOK!!! HeeHeeHee…
There is a .50 off Halls coupon on riteaid I also think there was one in the ad this week for b1g1 not sure if they are the right size etc. There is also a coupon for $1 off 2 Progresso R&H Chicken Noodle, Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger, Cinnamon Toast Crunch (all these items are on the one coupon).
Just got Ultra Downy Coupons and sample from vocalpoint. Coupons consisted of 3- $1.50/1 and 1-$2.50/1 60 load bottle. Can not see the fluid ounces even with 2 pairs of reading glasses on. If the ounces are a go, then this should stack nicely with Publix Clean in Cart Booklet or the Target SS Q.
it says 62-73 oz, so I don’t know how many loads that is. I am hoping for the same deal and will use it for the free pink cookware also. I won’t find out until Thursday though, but my coupons are still good through Thursday, yippie! Fingers crossed the size is right for the coupons and sale, lol.
I will be traveling to Alabama this week (I am from FL) and I am supposed to teach a friend of mine how to shop at Publix. Now I remember the rules are different! How does doubling coupons work? For instance, on the Old El Paso Dinner Kits, can you use 2 of the $.50/1 and they both double, giving you $2 off? Is there a limit on how many can double? The forum isn’t working for me, so thanks for your help!
Jaime- yes thats right. I am in TN and I believe the rules are the same down in AL. They will double coupons up to $.50. So if Old El Paso is BOGO $2.95, then use 2- $.50/1 to get both boxes for $.95.
depends on what part of Alabama! For instance…LOWER Alabama (Baldwin County) does NOT double coupons & NO “penny item” & don’t forget that their cash registers ring up bogo sales differently than Florida. Alabama: 1/2 price– 1/2 price on a Bogo sale (versus Florida where it rings up full price– Full price– MINUS full price.)
What part of Alabama? The rules are different in each part… I am in Bham. The rules for me are half-price BOGO, doubling $.50 and under, and no limit on the doubling as long as the barcode starts with 5 instead of 9. But no drug store coupons as competitors. I would recommend calling customer service at your friend’s store to make sure that you are teaching her correctly 🙂
Thanks for the info girls! It’s a Publix in south AL. I plan on going with her, but wanted to get an idea first of some of the rules. Doubling coupons sounds like fun! 🙂
Hey, Jamie – If it’s in South Alabama, you probably will not get doubles on coupons. I know they don’t double in the Foley / Gulf Shores etc areas.
here is what im going to do for the $5/5 kraft cheese coupon
buy 4 pkg of chunk cheese 2.00 each
buy 1 pkg of kraft singles 2.00 each.
equals 10.00
use 2 1.00/1 publix coupons for the chunk cheese
use 2 .55/1 publix coupons for the chunk cheese
use 1 1.00/1 publix bread wyb 1 kraft singles
This comes to 4.10 off 10.00 equals 5.90
then use my 5.00/5 kraft coupon and pay .90 for all.
I need to use 1 of those 5/5 coupons before the expiration and this is the best i can come up with. So im stocking up on chunk cheese. Then i might need to stock up on some constipation medicine… lol. If anyone can come up with something better please post it. thanks.
Where are you getting the Publix coupons for chunk cheese?
Where are u getting the chunk cheese Publix coupons?
they were on cooking with craft a few weeks ago.
I have two bottles of Dulcolax laxative sitting around from some moneymaker drugstore deals I did a while ago…let me know if you need it 😉
hahahahaha!
That’s hilarious!!! 🙂
Woo Hoo.. I have been biding my time, waiting for Pace Salsa to go on sale to use my ‘free’ q’s from the online game a while back! They expire 9/30, so I will have to make sure and go on Thursday! Way too excited about BOGO salsa!
Me to!! I am so exited to get twice as many as I was going to get plus tons of overage with the $4/1! I have been saving up the ones I got since May (the last time Pace was BOGO!!)
I am not able to get the Target Lean Cuisine coupon…can anyone help?
I tried to print two of the Natures Own bread coupons but was only allowed 1. Anyone else have the same results or just me?
Same for me, only 1.
I couldn’t even get one 🙁 And there are about 3 pages of coupons that say I have reached my limit that I have NEVER printed. Weird.
Publix in Hoover alabaster and calera have the coffee international delights 16oz 2/3 with a $1/1 making each .50 each. The coupon is a blinkie on the door of the creamer!
I found the same deal in Inverness, FL
Gardein has a $1/1 coup on their website
http://www.gardein.com/ecoupon.php
I cant find the Ragu taret coupon for the pasta sauce deal, does anyone know if it is gone or am I looking in the wrong place for it.
Here is the link to the shedd’s spread coupon, if anyone needs it. I had to hunt it out b/c the link that is posted was not working. http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=zi2gdwt82441300&bt=vg&o=63611&c=UL&p=ish8QM5b
is there no in ad coupon this week?
I went through the ad twice to check and see and no in ad coupon 🙁
(I get a sneak peek ad on Monday)
My store in McDonough, GA (south of Atlanta) is enforcing the limit on BoGos now. I think there’s been a big influx of couponers in the area so they are limiting the items to 4 deals (or 8 total items). Not a big deal to me – I figure if there’s somethin I really want more than 8 of, I can make two trips. Plus it always frustrates me when I want 2 of an item and there isn’t any left b/c someone is walking around with 24 in their cart or like the pancake mix that I wanted 1 of but they didn’t have in stock b/c after the coupon it was like $.15.
Is that the one at Lake Dow?
I am confused about the Target coupons. If I have a coupon for $1.00 off and it is a Target coupon, can I use the Mfg.coupon for $1.00 and get $2.00 off of a product?
As long as your store takes Target as a competitor- YES! 🙂
I’m in the Orlando area, shop at several Publix stores, but mostly in Winter Park ~ have always used a manufacturer coupon for each BOGO item if I had them, never a problem until last Wednesday, when the cashier told me company policy changed, she called over the manager when I asked her to take off all the BOGO items (everything but three items that trip), the manager said the same thing. They were both very nice and I certainly made no issue of it, but left with just the three non-BOGO items. Has anyone else had this happen in their stores? Is this a company-wide policy? What really bothers me is that we’ve been a loyal Publix family for almost 40 years, and when I sent an email to them asking about their policies, expected at least a cursory response – but a week later, still no response of any kind. Will no doubt continue to shop at Publix, but a much larger portion of my grocery shopping was done at Target and Albertson’s this week…..
I’m in SW Orlando and haven’t had that issue. Part of me is comforted that they’re working on a company wide coupon policy. It will probably eliminate some of the deals I get now, but I won’t be so nervous all the time that something has changed or someone will give me a hard time.
I shop regularly at half a dozen nearby Publixes, and have never had any problem, but am very careful to make sure that no coupons are expired, that they are for the specific item, etc., and truthfully, it’s a rare trip that uses more than 8-10 coupons. Do agree that knowing the policies would be nice, guess I’ll have to start with a visit to the service desk every time I go in, despite the imposition.
I just shopped at Publix in Casselberry on 17-92 today and here was what I was told. Corporate coupon policy is changing and they will no longer accept expired coupons, and you can only use (1) $/$$ off coupon per order. That’s all I was told. Stacked coupons today, including Target coupons.
I am in North Florida and have not been told this yet . I shopped at 2 different Publix on Tue and they both let me use 2 coupons or 4 with store on both B1G1 items . Hope it is not the case then it will be like shopping at Winn Dixie for me lol which I dont do much .
Hello!
I am glad to see that me and my friends are not the only ones who are experiencing some changes with Publix and the coupons they take and don’t take. I, like some of you , frequent a few Publix’s in the area.
Recently a friend who shops at the Publix on 419 and
Colonial was told by the cashier and customer service manager that she could not use a Target and Whole Foods coupon together on one item. I went and spoke with the Customer Service Manager of that store. She was very nice and informative. She told me that it is true that only 1 competitor and 1 manufacturer at a time per item.
She told me that this is something new that is
being rolled out in their district of stores. She told me that she could not
give me a written policy but that it has been given to all the cashiers and is
actually posted at the register to remind the cashier of their new policy.
The scarier part is that this is a pilot project that may eventually be rolled
out to other stores. The manager was very kind to give me the stores in the district where this policy is being enforced…there are ten.

So, what does this mean? This means that at these stores that you will not be
allowed to use 2 competitors’ coupons in addition to a manufactures coupon on one item.
Has anyone that frequents these stores been informed of this?
Thanks so much!
Yes, I was told this about 2 weeks ago. They also now ask for the Q’s up front and scan them as they ring up the item(s). So if you are close to the $50 mark for a $X/50, they will not ring it up first, they do it last. The manager has been really great about the change in the Oviedo store @ Alafaya Woods and the store at Riverside gives you a hard time with one coupon…even if it’s one of their own…very bad management there!
This has always been the way it is supposed to be. if you read the couponing information on this site it will tell you that you are only supposed to use 1 MQ and 1 store Q (either competitor or publix) PER ITEM. The problem is that too many people are “sneaking” extra coupon in with a stack of coupons hoping that the cashiers don’t notice and it is costing the store too much money. There are plenty of ways to get a legitimate deal out there but as always a few will spoil it for us all.
I was not aware that the rule has been that you can only use 1MQ and 1 store Q. I have not been couponing for long but when I initially started, I spoke with the Customer Service Manager at my store that I most frequent and she did not inform me of this. I spoke with her prior to starting my couponing so that I would not be labeled as someone trying to be sneaky. I want to be honest with my couponing!
I shop every week and usually on some of my items I may use 2 store Q (Whole Foods, Publix and Target). I will have to speak with the Customer Service Manager again to insure that I am not doing something that goes against the rules!
Thanks so much!
Our store no longer takes competitor $x/$xx coupons, but the stores are only supposed to have been taking one store coupon (whether that’s Publix or a competitor) and one manufacturer coupon per item all along… policies ARE getting tightened up, but I would imagine that it’s in response to abuse of their competitor coupon policy (which whether intentional/informed or not, having applied two or more store/competitor coupons per item IS…). Hopefully we can all start making sure we are fully understanding the coupon policies and what constitutes fair use of coupons (NEVER copying them, being careful to read & follow wording, etc) so we are allowed to continue saving as much as we do.
This has been the policy for over 1 yr in NW Florida. You can only use 1 mfg and 1 competitor coupon per item.
My stores have never been able to use two competitor coupons together so there will be no change here in Jax.
At my Publix in Jax, we are allowed (and has been this way for a very long time) 1PQ, 1 competitor Q, and 1 man Q per item. They have changed some of the competitor Q’s they take, but mine still takes Target, WAGS, & CVS, and any other grocery locally, however not all the stores here in JAX take them all. I always check with Customer service to see if any changes have been made, or at my regular one, the mgr will usually let me know if they see me coming in.
Christy, which publix in Jax do you go too? I live on the west side of jax.
Yes this is also true at the publix stores on michigan and orange, south conway and curry ford, hoffner and south conway, shine and east 50, edgewater drive and princeton, and 436 and lake margarget. Near the airport this has been around since the change of coupon policies and which competitors they would take. Be kind they make NO money off of a target , winn dixie coupon… so doubling them in past we should be grateful for, I know I really wish they still did, especially now that I know what I am doing!!
I’ve always been under the impression that only one competitor coupon can be used per item, and I live in Orlando.
Me too, here in Gainesville Florida it’s been like that for at least 6 months, one manuf and one competitor per item, scared me too at first but really once you are used to it, it’s not a big deal.
That’s always been the rules at my Publix too, in Palm Coast, Fl
In St. Cloud (south of Orlando) all 3 of our publixes allowed use of a comp coupon + publix +mfq… they just changed the policy. I run my own blog and know the management very well and they were the ones who said this was the rule…so its not that people necessarily “abuse” like some posts above are stating, its that different management has different rules.
I’m in St. Cloud also and I have always thought and used one comp. Q, one Publix Q and one man. Q on one item. I have never had a problem. Kristina, what is your blog site? Do you have deals on it? Too often I look at blogs and the deals are for different areas that doesn’t apply to our stores here. I would like to follow along and see any deals you find in St. Cloud.
I live in Saint Cloud, too! What is your blog Kristina?
Yay! St cloud proud! are you speaking of the 192 publix or the canoe creek one?
Greetings Michelle!
There were hangtags out on select Lysol products last year, which I found tucked away in my binder. Stacked with the new $1/1 Lysol Wipes coupon on Rite Aid Video Value Perks makes them $0.99 for $50ea./$0.49ea.
Reaping In Abundance,
Kay
Halls Cough Drops…there is a BOGO MFQ within this week’s Rite-Aid sales ad that expires on 10/2. In addition to that Rite-Aid has also released a $0.50/1 Halls Cough Drop on the Rite-Aid Video Value Perks site.

-use (2) $0.50/1
makes them FREE plus overage, if allowed

HAPPY SHOPPING!
Priscila, I shop at the 434 and Maitland (Jamestown Publix). Which store do you sop at and do they always adjust the price to match the coupon price for albertsons? I have never used Albertson’s coupons at mine so i am wondering how it works, thanks!!
I go to the Jamestown Publix too!! lol
Yes, they accept Albertson’s coupons. I always use the $5/50 purchase one there. I was also able to get them to clarify regarding Family Dollar coupons and they accept those as well.
Per the reply below by Sabryna, I’ll have to verify how they handle the price match type coupons. To me, it would make sense that it would be BOGO, with the each being 99 cents… but one is free so you pay 99 cents for 2. But I’ll have to confirm.
They let you use Family Dollar coupons? I called this morning and a rude woman said no at Customer Service. I was surprised because this Publix is awesome with coupons!
Yes Nichole at the Jamestown Publix (a MANAGER) confirmed that I could. And I used 2 of them of my last purchase.
Priscila, unless your store does something very different from Publix’s policy, they do not price match, and “coupons” that are for say, “$.99 Sara Lee” (versus “$x OFF Sara Lee”) are considered price matching as there is no stated amount to deduct from the price of the product, just a stated price they have to adjust theirs to match. Just don’t want you to be disappointed…
Thanks for the head’s up. 🙂 I’m going to check how they handle these coupons at my Publix this Friday.
I have found inconsistency in enforcing this, which did lead to my disappointment. I didn’t know they didn’t price match and most, if not all Walgreens coupons (the only competitor my Publix considers), are for a price, even though they say coupon across the top. So, I used a price match coupon once with no problem. The next time they wouldn’t let me do it. Also, watch out on who your store considers a competitor. I asked my store when I started couponing and Rite Aid was included. I then took a $5 of $20 coupon from Rite Aid to Publix only to find out they had just dropped Rite Aid as a competitor.
My Publix handles the $xx. for an item treats them like a rain check & I just give them the coupon before ringing up the item so that they can adjust the price.
I wish I could use these kinds of competitor coupons at Publix!
I know my store takes Albertson’s coupons but since Publix doesn’t price match, they won’t take this kind like the Ragu you mentioned. It always has to be $X/item or a B1G2 coupon like they have for meats frequently. I wish they would take these though because I was doing the math and with my coupons I’m paying almost the same amount per ounce for Ragu at either store but I don’t generally need the giant 45 ounce jars – this would make them a GREAT deal.
I’ll still be picking mine up at Publix though to get my total up for my $5/$25 coupon 🙂
Where’d you get the $5/$25? I had a $5/$30 a few weeks back that I was used because it was set to expire on 9/20.
My $5/$25 coupon is from Family Dollar and was sent to me in the mail. Forgot to mention that it wasn’t also an Albertson’s coupon! Sorry for any confusion on that one 🙂
I also got an email from Dollar General with a $5/25 purchase coupon (Bricks, printed twice) that is good on 9/30-10/2 so if anyone else is signed up with them check your inbox!
I’m in Orlando and my store takes these coupons. I don’t see it as price matching because it SAYS “7 Day COUPON” on it.
Also- for the Ragu- the BOGO sale is for the 48oz size and the Albies q is for the 24oz size so it won’t work.
Publix has a pink breast cancer awareness store flyer titled “Save over $25 now”. It has a PUBLIX $1.00 off coupon on any Cascade item and expires on 10/17. Cascade is on sale this week.
Here if you use an albertson’s coupon that states the price they deduct the difference as a competitor’s coupon. For example if the Sara Lee bread is 1.99 at Publix and you use the .99 albertson’s coupon, they will deduct 1.00 off your bill.
When I have products that have weird differences I usually write the difference on the back of the coupon while shopping, so the cashier doesn’t get stuck doing the math(these sometimes throw the cashier’s off).
The Ragu coupon in the Albertson’s ad is not the same size as the BOGO publix sale.
Last night at the East Lake Publix in Palm Harbor, FL, there were $1 off peelies on Velveeta Mac n Cheese and Capri Suns. The mac n cheese was not on sale, but the capri suns were 3/$6. I am hoping they both go BOGO soon. I also found the “family” coupon book with the Glade coupons, so I was able with my Manuf. coupons to get 2 twin packs of oil refills and the warmer for free.
I was at my publix yesterday and they had the Pink bottles of Downy (I believe they were 60 load) on sale for 5.99. Better than the sale price that started today and I had the Vocal point coupons stacked with the Publix coupons making for some cheap Downy and supports Breast Cancer Awareness.
My Publix stores in Sebastian, Fl (we have 3 and we’re not even that big of a town) will accept Albertson’s as competitor. The closest one is 15 miles away in Vero Beach. I can use a X/XX and any coupon that states a price for a specific item. I cannot use Albertson’s meat coupons because I was told that Albertson’s meats came pre-cut and Publix butchers do their own. The insinuation was that Publix meats were superior, I have never actually been in a Albertsons. I have also used a 5 off 50 Albertsons and Winn Dixie on the same trip to a Publix. Things are definetly being watched more closely but I never have a problem (unless a cashier doesn’t understand something) but I am always very careful because I don’t want to cheat anyone or ruin things for all of us. Here Albertsons and Winn Dixie are the only competitors allowed. However after enough needling – my Winn will now take these other as competitors. (I’m sure it wasn’t me, of course but someone at corporate came to see the sense of it).
Hey I’m in vero beach, the publix by Target, takes Target coupons. Just thought I’d tell you.
I shop in Newberry, FL, just outside of Gainesville and it has always been (1) Publix or Competitor Q and (1) Manufaturer Q per item. I know alot of stores are really cracking down because so many people are abusing their very generous coupon policy.
Thank you so much for this website! Last week, I saved over $83!! I have a question for those who live in Miami-Dade County. At my local Publix, they do not accept any coupons from Target. Has anyone else experienced this problem? We do not have Super Targets in my area, but the some of the local Targets now have a grocery dept, so I am unsure why Publix will not accept Target coupons.
It varies per store/manager.
Cheryl
Ilive in Broward County and have been told the same thing.. the reason is supposed to be becuase Target is not giving them the money promised on the coupons.. however they still accept Albertsons even though there aren’t really any in the area.
Thanks, Sara for the information. Maybe one day, Publix will begin to accept them. 🙂
I have a question about the Old El Paso coupon link under the El Paso deal this week – it takes you to coupons.com but the coupon says do not double or triple on the manufacturer’s coupon, does this mean publix will not double it?
Any help on this is appreciated!
it will double automatically if your store doubles.
Some cashiers will actually override the doubling so watch out.
Does anyone know where to find the natures own coupon for bread or the ragu for this week or have one?
I have an extra bread one that I am not going to use…but it wouldn’t make it there on time for the end of the sale unless you get a “rain check” for it. Let me know Stephanie.
I just scored 6 bags of Butterfinger,Baby Ruth and Nestle Crunch for $2.48 there is a $1 off Nestle Chocoalte from Target you can combine with the $1/2 to score almost FREE!
