This was the first week where the boys were in school on Monday…so guess what I did?! Yes, I was able to shop by myself!! I have to admit that I am loving these 9 hours of freedom each week. I have been so productive–it is so exciting!! It is a win/win–the boys are having a great time in preschool and I have been able to zoom around doing my errands!!
This week I decided to use a few rain checks while getting my weekly needs. While my total is a bit higher than my average, I scored items that made it worth the extra money! Just think, if I had paid full price for the four packages of trash bags and the four canisters of wipes I would have spent almost $50–CRAZY!!! So the fact that I got those items with all my other groceries for just over $65 is just awesome!!
This week I spent $65.65 for $168.41 amount of groceries. That means I saved 62% this week–works for me 😀
