It’s Friday and that means that today is the day to send in your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”! Our question stockpile is getting a little low so you’re going to have to help us build it back up again!
Remember, your questions can be about anything – basic couponing information, how to use the site, finding coupons, other ways to save, whatever you’re curious about! Every Wednesday I’ll answer 10 of your questions. Don’t forget about the tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.
Keep asking, and we’ll keep answering! Email your questions to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com. If it has been a while and your question has not been answered please resend. I try to keep up with my inbox but it gets full VERY quickly and sometimes things can get lost!!
Just wanted to say thanks for doing this blog. I check your page everyday several times and I use it to save tons of money at Publix. In fact the manager asked me yesterday afternoon if I used a website and I told him about yours and how you get the add up so early and that is why I can save so much because time is so valueable when you have 3 kids. My manager was very impressed with how much I saved. That is why I LOVE LOVE LOVE Publix. Not only do they have the best customer service but they encourage couponers. Thanks again! You are the BEST!!
I can not seem to find the coupon for
The smart balance milk??
I shop a Publix… Love this store…
Also, are there any classes I could attend
To help me understand how to use and
Get these wonderful offers?
Why is is lately that what is posted on Monday’s Sneak Peak, does not match what my store has on sale? I can see one or two things here or there, but it’s been more frequent. I’m in East Central Florida, Melbourne to Titusville area.
It used to match SO well. 🙁
Thanks!
I have noticed also that the ads are different (Tampa here). I look on truecouponing . com for my local ad (they are out of valrico). But the coupon matchups are so much better on here.
Michelle lives in Atlanta so sometimes the sale items will be different. Most of the time Publix keeps the same sale items through all the stores no matter if you live Florida/Georgia/South Carlolina.
That is the only thing that I can think of.
Can you recommend the best sites or locations to purchase coupons? If you purchase your coupons do you recommend purchasing by Monday or is there a cut off date that you think is too late to have the coupon shipped so that you can use for the current ad?
I am wondering how to find the best prices on meats, specifically turkeys right now
I have a couple questions:
1. When you sign up for Save-a-lot e-mail they send you a $5/$25 Q which my Publix accepts as a competitor. When you print this Q, it pops up your computer’s printer window and you can choose to print it as many times as you want. For coupons like this, is it okay to print it as many times as you want? Specifically on this Q, can I print as many as wanted and use them on each shopping trip until it expires? Does this become coupon fraud?
2. I thought I remembered this one being addressed at some point but couldn’t find in the Q & A. My Publix accepts Walgreens register rewards. They have said they are manufacturer coupons and most of the cashiers scan them in just like a manufacturer coupon but I was wondering if they will get reimbursed for those. I don’t want to be unfair to Publix as I get such great deals there. If I am already using a competitor $/$$ Q and then I have $15 in Walgreens register rewards, I don’t want Publix to lose money on that transaction, however would love to be able to use my register rewards to pay at Publix if that is acceptable. Do you know if they are reimbursed for those?
My question is: How do you determine what your annual grocery budget is? With a new year just around the corner, and my new found love of deal-hunting, I’m not sure how to decide how much to allow for groceries in the upcoming year. Any magical formula?
