To raise awareness about the national issue of hunger, Hamburger Helper® is partnering with GRAMMY®Award-winning singer, songwriter and actor Tim McGraw to help Feeding America deliver millions of meals to local food banks through the Show Your Helping Hand campaign.
You can help support the campaign by submitting codes from specially marked boxes of Hamburger Helper at Show Your Helping Hand or by logging on to make a donation. Hamburger Helper has already donated more than half a million dollars and will contribute up to an additional $100,000 to Feeding America through this program. Don´t think one code will make a difference? The 17¢ Hamburger Helper donates per code is enough for Feeding America to deliver one meal to a local food bank.
You all know how I feel about helping others in need. Sometimes a little effort can mean so much. This is a super easy way to give to those in need with very little impact to your budget. Be sure to check your pantry for specially marked boxes and be on the lookout for the boxes when shopping at Publix. You can check the I Heart Publix Coupon Database for coupons to help you score your boxes for a great deal.
One of my readers will win a prize pack that includes a box of Hamburger Helper skillet meals, a Hamburger Helper foam “Helping Hand” and a copy of Tim McGraw´s “Southern Voice” CD.
To enter leave a comment letting me know how you might encourage others to submit codes and join the Hamburger Helper/Feeding America fight against hunger.
I will choose a winner on Tuesday 11/23 around 11pm. Emailed comments and those left on Facebook will not be accepted.
Head over to Show Your Helping Hand for a chance to win an autographed copy of Tim McGraw´s “Southern Voice” CD.
Hamburger Helper and MyBlogSpark provided a gift pack for me and my reader. All comments and opinions are my own.
I plan on having my email signature include the website and a reminder to enter codes.
I would let folks know about the benefits of the codes!
you never realize how important it is to help other people out until you have been in the position where you are the one that actually needs help…..
Well, I’m really good at motivating people to do things. All I need to do is tell everyone I know, via facebook and twitter and face to face conversations, and I’m sure I could get lots of people to enter the codes. Most people don’t do these things because they’re unaware of it. I’ll make them aware!
Facebook or a face to face conversation!
I would talk about it around the water cooler with my co-workers.
I would email my friends to remind them!
Definitely would send a reminder along with a coupon,so they can’t forget!
Add an extra line to my email siggy! Thanks!

I usually pass my extra boxes (that I score so cheap thanks to your site’s coupon match-ups) to our college-age relatives. I’d tell them about the code and how far the 17 cents would go when I hand over the boxes.
i will call my mother to make certain she enters the codes. they eat the helper once a week but she may not be looking for the codes.

The best way to get this kind of word around is through my kids’ schools.
