Okie dokie guys, here is the new ad that starts 1/1. This is going to be a short ad so we can get back on schedule. The ad runs 1/1 – 1/5 (or 1/4 in some areas). There are a ton of coupons expiring on 12/31, so be sure and look through your binder as many of you have told me that your store will accept those only a few days expired (my store does not 🙁 ) Looks like another good week!
If you find any additional coupons just let me know and I will get them added.
If you need help with the new format just click the help button to watch the video instructions.

Several good deals for me! 🙂
I think there’s a peelie for the Hunt’s ketchup that was on a box of frozen seafood. Sorry I’m so vague but my memory doesn’t always work lol~
Yes, it was $1/2 and was on a box of Seapak brand somethingorother.
There is also $1/2 in the January All You mag!! 🙂
Thanks for reminder!!! I have the magazine but haven’t gone through it! 🙂
It didn’t come in my subscription. I had to buy one from WM that had it in there because for some reason they sometimes put extra inserts in the one sold at WM. 🙁
Call All You and request to have the inserts included in the Wal-Mart issues be included in your home subsciption. I’ve done this.
Okay guys! I need your help to see if I am doing this correctly.

it figures that the vocal point barilla coupons expire the 31st…
I wonder if there’s a way for me to do this anyway – buy and return? or something?? hmmmm
Some stores will let you use the coupon if it’s only expired by a couple days. You should call your store and ask.
definitely call.. my store will take the 12/31, but only on 1/1 because that is their cut off for sending them in.
My store will take the 12/31 Barilla on 1/1….
I know, I was really bummed about this.
I found a $2/1 peelie on Post shredded wheat and grape nuts. Makes for FREE cereal! And if your store accepts expired Q’s there is a PQ for free publx OJ wyb 2 post cereals in the winter holiday savings booklet
Thanks, Michelle for all you do! There is a $.50/1 Quaker Oats coupon that you can buy off ebay!!
There is a $1/1 Quaker oats in the upcoming 01/02 Red Plum
Does anyone like to cook with the Al Fresca chicken sausage? What do you do with it? I would love some recipe ideas!
We absolutely love it! I like to slice up the Sweet Italian and add it to spaghetti or bake in in ziti. The sundried tomato is great as well (slice it lengthwise, grill it in a skillet and serve with mashed potatoes & veggies). So glad it is BOGO! 🙂
will go great with all that pasta that we (like every one else lol) have!!
I use this all the time when i can get it on sale. We are low fat, healthier eating family. I like to put it on the grill. I also take the skin off and use it for spaghetti with meat sauce. I don’t have any specific recipes to copy and paste but our family loves this sausage. So happy to see it on bogo.
Can it be frozen?
Yes, thaws perfectly!
Thank you!!
I’m wondering this too! Looks like a great deal, but I’ve never used it!
The Cassoulet Recipe that was posted earlier this week (I made it tonight and it is wonderful) would be a good recipe for this. I used turkey sausage tonight but I will be buying the chicken for next time I make it.
Can you tell me where in the store you are finding this. i have never been able to find it in the store.
It’s usually where all the lunchmeat-type stuff is. My store has it shelved with the hot dogs.
Check out the Al Fresca website. they have great recipes listed!!
We grill them up, make subs and add onions and peppers. They are sooooo good and fine to freeze.
Sun dried tom with whole wheat spiral pasta, sun dried tom alfredo sauce, and a box of frozen spinach drained…add cheese too if you have it – real shredded parm preferred…my guys EAT THAT UP like no tomorrow! We also love the apple for a breakfast sausage…its the sweetest sausage we’ve ever had.
AUGH! I have coupons for almost all the BOGO that expire the 31st 🙁 Oh well…over all a good year…Thanks for all your guidance
Same here….=(
I feel the same way! Do you think they plan this?? Makes me want to cry…
I called my Publix and they said I could use my 12/31 expireds on 1/1, that it was their cut off for sending them in. She said to call each time because the dates change…
yess some super cheap motts medleys juice!!
I’m confused where do you see the mott’s medleys?

Thanks
It’s listed under the Love to shop here love to save here
There were blinkies at my store as well for $1/1, so be on the look-out.
http://www.mybatonrougemommy.com/2010/12/high-value-100-motts-medleys-juice.html
1dollar off motts brick coupon
any idea how to find the .75 coupon on starkist’s site?
NM – figured it out 🙂
How did you do it? I cannot figure it out!
I think I found it under “Products” and then “Pouch Tuna” or something like that. Memory isn’t so great at times.
Still can’t find it. If anyone has any other directions I’d appreciate it!
I had to sign-up. Confirm via their e-mail and then click on the coupon link on the same e-mail for the coupon to print. It was for 50 cents.
Of course. I just bought the Al Fresco sausage when it was $3.99.
Me too.
When things like that happen I just remind myself that it was still a good deal.
For all of you saying your coupons are expiring on 12/31, ask your stores. Two of the five stores in my area will take them up to 7 days past the expiration date because they only batch and send their coupons in once a week. All is not lost 🙂
Love the new spreadsheet format:) Now I don’t have to print from another site I can stay here thanks again”)
The Quaker Life Nutrition Bar coupon doesn’t show up via the link (is there a zip code I should use?).
I could not find it either and I tried several zip codes if anyone knows of a zip code that works I would greatly appreciate it!
Try 32174
It worked just fine for me. It opened through coupons.com kind of, but there were a lot of Publix coupons on the site for platters and deli trays. The list of coupons was not as extensive as the normal coupons.com site, but it was on the first page.
i’m liking the new spreadsheet. pretty helpful.
does anyone know if greens can be freezed without it being soggy after thawing? i’d like to stock up on the glory greens, but other than one dish i plan to make, i’m not sure how good stocking up on this fresh veg would help me in the long run. any ideas?
FROZEN not “freezed”
I don’t think you can freeze them raw. But we’ve always cooked greens and then frozen them in water and then we thaw and heat them up and eat them.
We have done this as well.
Open the bag, push the greens to the bottom, roll up tightly and freeze. Did it last time they were on sale and they froze well!
Thanks, Liz! I’ll give that a try.
Thank you all for your input. 🙂
No, problem Elizabeth. BTW, love your name!
we froze some on the last sale and they were fine i don’t eat them personally dh does but he didn’t have any complaints. 🙂
I’ve purchased frozen collards before, so I’m sure u can.
Are the Porterhouse or T-Bone steaks really BOGO at $6.99/lb, or are they in the wrong category?
Nevermind…I see the little BOGO icons now.
i have some target charmin peelies- $1.00 off…yeah!
I found a new -$5/1 Enfamil, any on coupons.com today under zip 90210, this would be a great match-up for the in ad coupon.
I have been looking everywhere for this but it’s just the toddler enfagrow.
The new format looks great, but I miss the little green checkmarks letting me know which deals are particularly super. Will these be comeing back? And the red for mnfr q’s and green for store q’s. I don’t mean to complain, though~ Thank you for ALL you do!!
Not complaining- I love, love, love everything you do for me but I0 am also confused- which are mnfr and which are store q’s? Could you make a legend/key that has the descriptions of each icon? Ugh, was that so annoying of me…sorry!!!!! You truly are the best!
there is a legend. Click help and scroll under the video. Also, if you want to see the best deals, go to “weekly ads/super deals.”
I agree! I find the checkmarks and the color coding to be very helpful!
Thank you! 🙂
Does anyone know if I can still get the $1 off of 2 nabisco from the target website or is there a manufacture coupon I can use instead?
I didn’t see it on there today. I have a tearpad for $1/2 crackers and also another tearpad for $1 off bottled water when you purchase 2 packages of 100 calorie right bites snacks.
love the new spreadsheet but it won’t let me print?? it just brings me back to the top of the page? can anyone help??
I, too, can not print. Don’t know why. I’m so sorry, but I DONT love the new spreadsheet. I appreciate all the time it took, and I’m sure it will work out for a lot of people, but I’m just bummed. Just bummed. I’ve been trying to convince my non-couponing friend to get started for months, and she finally agreed! Now this :-/. I was telling her how EASY it was! This doesn’t allow you to scan the ad and BEGIN your list and then come BACK to it a day or so later to add/edit. Also, all that jumping around! Zoiks!
I love it! What a wonderful addition!
There is a .50/1 Tasteful Selection bag of potatoes on Coupons.com right now – zip 90210
There was a blinkie of the Mott’s Medley’s $1/1 that I grabbed a few days ago. They were right in front of the bottles.
I even grabbed up a few more today for this sale!!!
I know you worked hard on this spreadsheet, but I’m sorry to say I don’t care for it. I don’t like having to go to another page and I don’t like having to open and close each category to see what’s on sale. I liked how you displayed the sale better than the other websites I visit, but I might have to go back to them.
Sorry
I love this website and appreciate all you do as well…. But I’m with Julie. I thought if I kept trying the spreadsheet I would like it, but it’s not happening. I really don’t care for the spreadsheet at all. The categories don’t open and close easily on my computer and it’s too much to open and close each category — I’m pressed for time and it just takes too long and I can’t print it on the go and take it with me! I always liked the way you displayed it differently than everyone else. I’m going to have to go back to one of my other sites as well to get it in a format I can use. I’m so bummed… this was my favorite site because of the way it was before.
I don’t mind the tabs expanding, but could definitely do without the bouncing of the screen in order to open it.
I check this site at least once everyday and I too am not liking the new spreadsheet. I need to scroll and see everything without opening each section and the bouncing screen is visually disturbing. I do love your site but not the new spreadsheet 🙁
I agree, maybe it’s because I am a creature of habit but I like to see everything at once as well. I dont do my list at one time, I use a spreadsheet on excel so I can add things as I think of them. I really appreciate everything you do for us & our budget’s. HAppy New Year!
Spreadsheet is too complicated for me. I don’t need to see my savings calculated, and anyway the prices used rarely match my store’s prices so that’s useless anyway.
The icons next to the coupons are too tiny.
We need to have the color coding for manufacturer v. store coupons so we can readily see stacking possibilities.
Those are my suggestions. Basically, return to the old format or make both formats available, please.
I love this site too, because of its focus only on Publix and because of the on-going posts regarding new deals that pop up during the week, via the Happy Report and other users’ input. So I will always come here, but I see myself going elsewhere to make my list. The only place I know of is SS — do you have any other suggestions? SS has taken to omitting competitor store match-ups for some reason, so it’s inferior to Michelle’s site in that way — my stores still take all competitor’s coupons.
I’m afraid that my computer will not open the various categories at all (on the spreadsheet). I live in a rural area with access to only the slowest and worst of internet services, and even on a newish computer and after 5 minutes of waiting, the category I clicked onto would not materialize. I will have to wait to get the sale info. Iheartpublix is great because you always have the new sale info. available before anyone else does, and often you have links to coupons that nobody else mentions.
I would like to know how to keep the entire spreadsheet list open (rather than viewing one section at a time and closing and opening as I progress.) I watched the tutorial and either missed it (or it may not be on there). A final scan of the entire list is important to me before I move to the printing stage.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
Ditto
I feel the same. I thought if I gave it some time I would like it. I know you worked hard on it but I loved the way you had it before.
I’ll jump on this train, too! I really love your website, and don’t mean to complain…..but I really don’t like this new format. I am having a very hard time getting used to it and learning to use it. The categories do give me problems when I open them on my screen, and I really like being able to see the entire ad at once. I know progress is a good thing, but I really wish the old format was offered.
I also am with Julie. I know it’s really tech savvy, but I don’t like the spreadsheet either. Don’t like the disjointed categories and the way I have so little control over how it prints. I used to copy and paste the entire ad into Word and go back to it later and delete anything I wasn’t going to buy. The price savings mean nothing to me as our prices always differ. Please make the old format available again, we would appreciae it so much and if you posted both formats, that would satisfy everyone! Thanks for all of your hard work.
I too was quick to say I didn’t like the new format but after using it for the second week I’ve changed my tune! It really is nice and I know how much work went into it and I appreciate it so much! Also, there are $1/2 Hunts ketchup peelies on the SeaPak frozen shrimp.
I agree – didn’t like it at first, now I can see some really nice improvements. Thank you.
FYI…I noticed on http://www.dollargeneral.com that you can print a $5 off $25 valid one day only 1/1/11. So for New Years Day if your Publix accepts these coupons or you use it at Dollar General you’ll get the discount.
Love, Love, Love the new spreadsheet! I know you worked hard on it – It was well worth the wait.
There is a Q for the Maruchan noodles…………Maruchan Yakisoba Product, Any – 10-10-10 SS
Expires 12/31/10. So if your store doesn’t take expired coupons, don’t waste your time looking for it.
I can not get the fiber one yogurt coupons to print. All it prints is the cereal coupon. Does this mean there are no more yogurt coupons available?
I am having the same problem. I get cereal coupons at one site and “server error” at the others.
Also, on the yogurt, when it does print from the target website (not fiber one website) it prints with the logo “manufacturer’s coupon” not a target coupon.
I can’t get any of the Yoplait coupons. The Target website isn’t even showing one on there. 🙁
There is a yoplait coupon here:
http://www.couponnetwork.com/
I like the spreadsheet very much!
Getting better at this new format. I’m adapting to my own way of doing it and I’m sure it will work out fine.
I make a draft list from here and then fine-tune it on an Exel from the old system when I’m ready to start budgeting for the actual shopping trip.
I find that on my slow computer it’s tedious to open and close the categories, but on the faster laptop it’s much better to use.
Is it just me or has it been a while since they have ran Mott’s juice or Juicy Juice on sale?? I had a little stocked up now it is almost gone.
do some publix stores take expired coupons? i see some of your coupons are ones i have but they expire before the sale? am i missing something? thanks! 🙂
Tyson Grilled Coupon!
If you like Weight Watchers on Facebook and click on the calendar there is a Tyson Grilled Coupon for $1 on the 28th.
I love the new spreadsheet. I could never get the hang of the one before. For the people that wish to see the spreadsheet before you print- I dont know about your printer but when I send it to the printer theres a little box that pops up and I can click on print preview, which allows me to look at it before it prints.
Not feeling the new format. I don’t want to print any spreadsheets. I just want to view all the awesome deals. This format makes me phone and pad all screwy. Bummed out…miss the old way.
Wow! I think the new spreadsheet is fabulous! Thank you for all your time and hard work.
I am horrified by the people complaining about it and “threatening” to go to other sites. Shame on you! You should be thankful for all Michelle does.
Change can be a good thing if you are willing to accept it.
I totally agree! I can’t believe people are complaining when Michelle makes it soo easy for us to shop!
We are giving her feedback on a new feature, which I assume she wants, as she wants to keep her readers happy. I love this site and am thankful that it’s here, but you act like she does this simply out of the goodness of her heart. While I’ve been in touch with her and she has a very good heart indeed, you do realize this is an income source for her, right? And that means that our input is of value to her?
I do understand that our input is of value, and that this is a source of income for Michelle..but it’s just the way some people comment on it. I read your comment..makes sense..i actually agree with all you said..but you said it in a way where you were trying to help her see what might be wrong with the spreadsheet, not that you completely dislike it, and no longer will use her site as others stated. I just don’t understand how some people think it’s okay to type such comments…if you can’t say your thoughts in a nice way, then don’t say anything at all.
I LOVE the new spreadsheet!! Thanks, Michelle, for all you hard work!!
I meant your and not you. Sorry for the typo.
hey Michelle! You did it and I love it! thanks so much for the new format, it is more than I expected. Great Job 🙂
Dawn
Savannah
Just called my Publix here in SC and they accept coupons for up to one week out of date.
This is my first time using the spread sheet and I can definitely see myself using it again.
– I do miss the green check marks from the old list, showing the best deals-love that!
-Also miss the color coding of diff. man. coupons and store coupons
-Maybe, Happy went a little “icon happy” 🙂 – some are a little small/hard to read. I think it’s easier to read….the match up, source date, then x date (like you have been)
-I Like the “star” icon to show best coupons, good idea
-I love that I don’t have to write everything out anymore. No more loose leaf notebook for me!
-I like that I know what I am going to spend OOP. No surprises!!!You do all the work for me!
-Question, While I’m working on my spreadsheet and then decide that I need to add something from the sale list, how do I do that?
I appreciate all that you do to make this site happen!! This is a great site and great spreadsheet- maybe needs a bit more “tweeking”. Thanks 🙂
I can’t get to print spreadsheet! When I click the button it takes me to the top of the ad. So I clicked help and it did the same thing.
Love the Spreadsheet!!
Love, love, love the new format! And being able to click the products you want to view (produce, deli) So excited!
Was just cleaning out my binder and found these jewels. %1.50 off a 16 oz or larger GM cereal and free pillsbury ready to bake cookies when you buy 17 oz honey nut cheerios. All are peelies with expiratrion 3 or 5 2011. So $4 for 4 boxes hnc and 4 packs cookies!!! Happy New Year. Hope you have some too.
PLEASE EITHER GO BACK TO OLD WAY OF LISTING THE PUBLIX AD OR AT LEAST HAVE AN OPTION TO READ IT THAT WAY. ABSOLUTELY HATE THE NEW WAY. I HAVE TO CLICK ON EACH DEPT TO SEE WHATS ON SALE. TAKES TO MUCH TIME. I GAVE UP AND WENT TO SOUTHERNSAVERS.COM TO MAKE MY LIST. HERS IS DONE LIKE YOU USED TO DO IT. THANKS
I like the new spreadsheet…
However, it is not really a good tool for me because the prices are higher in my area. All of the great savings in the metro Atlanta area are increased by about 10 cents or more in my area. So I would still have to go back and forth to the weekly ad prices for my area and adjust the amounts. So I will stick to my usual routine- flipping from this webpage to the Publix area page.
There is a blinkie for $1/1 off Mott’s Medleys.
Yes it was still there today at my store too. The medleys were not marked on sale, but they are.
Don’t like that I have to click on each category to see what’s on sale. Love that it figures out my OOP totals.
There is a $1/1 Emerald nuts coupon:
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?bt=wi&tqnm=zl5wdom10971959&o=80571&c=EN&p=KkZMCrX9
Thanks for the coupon link 🙂
Yeah, Thanks!!!! 😀
Thanks 🙂
You are so welcome ladies 🙂
I wasn’t able to print the spreadsheet. What am I doing wrong?
Your new spreadsheet kicks tail.
went to store today and the scrubbing bubbles has a $2.00 off 2 peel off on them.
Can you use 2 $.40/2 (doubles to $.80) on 1 4 pack?? If so, you could get a 4 pack of chicken noodle soup for $.39!
Unfortunately, I think the q you are referring to has that it excludes Tomato and Chicken Noodle soup in the small print. 🙁
There are new Quaker Coupons up at Target.com. These can be combined with the Quaker coupons (RP) in today’s paper and the Publix BOGO Sale above.
You can find the details at My Best Printable Coupons
I don’t think the BOGO sale includes instant oatmeal. 🙁
There’s a Target coupon for the standard oatmeal too.
oops…sorry see it now Thanks so much!! 🙂
There’s a $1 off 2 Capri Sun at Krafts website.
My Best Printable Coupons
There is a $0.50 coupon for the Maruchan Yakisoba Japanese Noodles in my SS today. That would make these FREE plus OVERAGE! These make great food pantry donation items and you have to love the OVERAGE however small it may be 🙂
Which SS is it in? I know I saw it, but I cannot find it anymore! Is it in the pink one? What is on the opposite page? Thanks!
It is in the one with the woman on the front from SS 1-2. The opposit page had colgate on it.
I would really like to see an option to view the old format as well. I don’t waste printer ink by printing out a list. The new format make my computer jump around & is hard to see. I actually missed a couple of items listed last week that I found to be BOGO when I got to the store. Please make an option for the old way for those of us that have slow computers. Thanks!
Agree too. I like the new format but I usually copy and paste to Word, delete the items I don’t want then save it so I can link to the computers & print at a later time. I usually don’t have time to print everything in one sitting…or give us the option to save our customized spreadsheet.
Is there a way to see the final prices of these items?
I’m looking for the new Prego coupon that is supposed to be in today’s SS. I can’t find it anywhere. I had several inserts today, which SS is it? I’m in the atlanta region, maybe they didn’t include it? Thanks for your help!
There are lots on ebay. Don’t know if you could get them in time, though. 🙁
I looked all over for it too. No luck for me. I’m in Metro ATL too. Guess we lose out this week….
I found a -$2/2 scrubbing bubbles peelie. It expired 12/31 but my Publix takes expired:)
I have one of those….mine expires 12/31/11
so…..
Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, 22 oz can, 2/$4
-$2 Peelie
-$1 Target Coupons
=$1 for 2
I am having touble seeing the sale items on the new spreadsheet. Only some items come up and the others I only see half of the sale item. Is anyone else having this issue or is there a way to fix it?
Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, 22 oz can, 2/$4
-$2 Peelie Expires 12/31/2011 (Got this Peelie last time they were on sale and I bought them….)
-$1 Printable -.50 Target Coupons
=$1 for 2
Good deal?
I like that you can make a spreadsheet, but I don’t like that the subjects are pull down bars, I’ve missed several sales and had a hard time going back to find things a second time.
Shucks, no prego coupons in this weeks Orlando Sentinel. HEre’s to hoping they take the expired ones sinces it’s less than a week past expiration!
I’m confused…why aren’t you showing ALL of the deals from the ad? EX: Healthy Choice frozen meals are 5/$10 plus there is a coupon in yellow adv I believe:FREE HEALTHY CHOICE NOVELTY ITEM WYB 5 FRZN MEALS. Please explain.
Atually Healthy Choice is 3/$5 in the New Year, New Saving flyer.
Michelle,
I LOVE your new spreadsheet. The list is so easy to read. Because I have been on vacation during Christmas I am just now trying it. I viewed your video a couple of times. It seems so easy to use.
I am using Windows Vista, Firefox browser. When I modified the quantity, the price does not recalculate after I hit the button to do so.
In addition, can a new price be inserted to reflect local pricing?
Okay, finally went back and read the instructions (tee hee) and figured out how to get my spreadsheet to work. It is much easier to use once you read the instructions. Only comment is formatting now – the qty column and the price columns appear huge and might be sized smaller to allow more room in the item name column to cut down on lines printed. Really like being able to remove a coupon I do not have (less confusion when I go to my binder to get the coupons out I plan to use). Really like the total and “you saved” feature – wish I had saved more but it is a nice feature.
Not sure what I did wrong but it didn’t print in the order I expected it to – seems like it is grouped together by category – oops, just figured it out. my old hand made spreadsheet was grouped by aisles in my local store! Sorry.
Really like being able to click on the coupon link from the spreadsheet before I finalize whether I have it.
One question still remains – any way to “export” it to something else like Excel? for modifications only – I start my list at my lunch break at work, go home and do the coupon matchups but I would have to redo the process if I get home and don’t have a coupon I thought I had.
Thanks for the long anticipation and great product. You constantly think of things ahead of time for us!
Sherri
Is the quaker oatmeal the normal instant oatmeal? there is no picture in the ad
It’s in an 18 oz canister. Quick or Old-Fashioned varieties.
Thanks Sharon, I was looking for the instant oatmeal. Oh well maybe they will go bogo soon
There is also a $1/2 Campbell’s Select Harvest in the 1/2 SS if you are like me and already printed the others for the BOGO awhile ago.
The Nabisco 100 calorie packs are BOGO, and I have a Buy 3 Get 1 Free Coupon from Target. How does a B3/G1 coupon work with a BOGO sale? Does that mean that I could get 4 boxes but only pay for one of them?
Or would I have to “buy” 3 of the BOGO deals and then get one extra one (a total of 7 boxes)
Get 4 boxes and pay for one – in the land of true BOGO (FL)
Great, thanks for your reply Sharon. 🙂
And don’t forget to use a manufacture for all four!
Dont know if this has been mentioned yet BUT there is a $2 Crest Pro Health Mouth Wash coupon in the Walgreens coupon booklet found in their ad rack at the front of the store. It is on sale through today for $3.99. There is also a $2 off manufacturer coupon from the P&G flyer in the paper 2 weeks ago, it is mentioned in the breakdown here. If you use both of them you have FREE Mouthwash!!
Would love to see a select all on the printable spreadsheet. It is a lot easier to remove what you don’t want then it is to add every item. Just a thought. I really like the website and thank you!
Love the site…. here is what I found my Publix has Tyson refrigerated Grilled and Ready strips 2 for $5 target has a $1.00 off any one manufactrer’s coupon…. so that equals a gaood deal 2 for $3! My kids love to add these to salad!
Can’t find the Wisk Q from Target. I really wanted to get it for $0.49, but I will be okay with this. Thanks so much for this service as I am trying to get on top of the savings kick and stockpile along with family members. Thank.s
