Don’t worry, I’m in Bradenton, FL and I feel the same way. I think think there’s no competition for grocery stores around here, so they don’t have to give us the fabulous deals other areas of the country get.

Publix was started in Lakeland FL – so I don’t think they hate FL. It just depends on the management in that area. Tell the store manager you will call coporate if you don’t start seeing the Green Flyers and you will see how fast they put them out!!!
In the very early 90’S South Florida stores had the penny deals.
I do not know why they took them away but we sold so many of the item
all the time. I worked at the Customer Service desk at the time with Publix.

i totally feel everyone’s pain. i live in south florida (broward county), hardly any booklets. we rarely ever get high value coupons, and the stores are not very coupon friendly at all. to make matters worse, each store has its own policy and they change depending on the weather. i am trying hard to coupon as best as i can, but its quite a challenge. i envy those who get double coupons and penny items. 🙂

Low velocity trucks only come in two times per week.
The associate orders two days usually before the truck is
slotted for delivery so sometimes it will take the associate
a couple of trucks to catch up but you can always ask at the
Customer Service desk if the item has been “cut” or “out of
stock” in the warehouse and they will be able to tell you.
