Every Friday I am going to put out a request for you all to send me your questions!
The questions can really be about anything…questions about couponing, how to use the site, where to buy coupons, etc… Feel free to ask away!! Then, every Wednesday I will answer as many questions as I can. I will then create a new tab at the top of the site where all the questions and answers will be stored for future reference!!
I want this to be both fun and helpful…so send your questions to contactiheartpublix@gmail.com and check back next Wednesday to see the answers!!
I was in Target last night I had a $4.00 coupon off of a product the product was $3.49. The clerk told me she had to adjust the coupon down to the price of the product. Will target recieve the full price of the coupon from the company?
Tammy, you took the words (question) right out of my mouth. Several weeks ago there was a manufacturers coupon where you bought trash bags and got $3 off Clorox wipes. At that time, the wipes were on sale for $1.99. The cashier outright accused me of coupon fraud and proceeded to throw the coupons in the trash can. I very politely told her that I was happy to accept $1.99 off the wipes if this particular store did not allow overage. She refused the coupons all together until I pressed her further regarding overage. She didn’t understand the term “overage.” In the end, she took $1.99 off my bill (very reluctantly) and when I asked her if Publix would be reimbursed the entire $3 plus 8 cents, she took a sharpie and marked through the $3 and wrote $1.99 on the coupon. Nice gal, huh?
So, will Publix get the face value of $3?
I must admit you showed alot of restraint. I would have demanded the GM when given the kind of atitude you were given. I always get great service a publix so I am sure to always leave a note telling them thank you and reconize at least one employee every time I go there. So when crappy sevice happens I am quick to say so.
It’s very frustrating to get to a blinkie, or tear pad and find them empty when you’ve carefully planned them into your budget – do they only offer a certain number, or is there a rain check?
how is it i can get 2 of the same sunday newspapers exactly the same one but the coupons can be different in them. like last week i wanted the vitamin water coupon and it was on the inside front cover of the rp insert well then i bought another same paper and this one had a acid relief coupon (which i did not want) this really upset me.
I have the exact same question because I have had the same thing happen to me! Also, I was visiting family in Mississippi recently and I picked up a couple of local Sunday papers (different papers but all local) and ever paper had different coupons in them!?
on average, how long does your typical grocery shopping adventure take? do you usually shop WITH your kids, or go solo?
How do you organize your stock of coupons? Do you use a binder/plastic sleeve system, coupon clutch or do you just file the insert by date and cut coupona as needed?
