I wanted to give you guys a reminder about Upromise. I am not sure why I always forget about this fabulous program. I just received an email letting me know that I had earned almost $2 from eating out last weekend!! Not only does Upromise give you money for products you purchase but they also have Upromise Dining rewards…how cool is that!!
I enrolled in Upromise when I found out I was pregnant with my oldest and while the money I have earned will not pay for college –hey it is FREE money!! All I have to do is shop like I normally would and I get money put back into my Upromise account!
There are tons of participating product and Publix is a participating store!! All you have to do is ask for a card at your local Publix and have them scan it at checkout!! You will automatically get cash back for any participating products you purchase!!
What is even better is that they offer eCoupons that you can “load” to your card each month. These coupons don’t come off your total but instead add money to your Upromise account!! Right now there are a couple of great coupons that go with some deals at Publix:
New York Texas Toast or Garlic Bread Sticks 10.5 to 11.25 oz (excludes 3 cheese) 2/$4
-$.50/1 New York Brand Frozen Product, Any – 04-11-10 SS
-$.55/1 New York Brand Frozen Product, Any Blinkie
-$.50/1 New York Brand PRINT (zip 32606)
-$.50/1 Upromise eCoupon HERE
If your store doubles use the $.50/1 manufacturer coupon to pay $1 and get back .50¢ in your Upromise account–like paying .50¢ per package!!
Fisher Fusion Trail Mix, reported 2/$2 at some stores

-$.55/1 Fisher Fusion Upromise eCoupon HERE
A manufacturer coupon makes each item FREE–the Upromise coupon pays you to purchase the item!!
I am kicking myself right now! I bought 18 bags of Fisher fusions last night! I always forget to scan my Upromise at Publix! I need to make myself a sticker for my binder or something!!!
Sorry but I’m a little confused, if they don’t take the ecoupon off at the register and they put it into your Upromise account then how can the items listed above be free or be a money maker after the Upromise ecoupon?
you pay nothing for the trail mix when you use the MQ and you get .55¢ of FREE money put into your Upromise account!!
did you guys register online? and did you put in your credit card information to get the resturant rewards? Im a little weary on that part, i don’t really want to put my card information in.
I like Upromise! I signed up for it years ago, and last year I was able to use $1000 from the Upromise account for one of my children to help with college expenses! It can eventually add up to be worthwhile!
Questions, I have been signed up for UPromise for 4 weeks now and they have added nothing. I have all my cards loaded. Can you tell me how long it takes for them to give you a credit?
I agree with Danielle Carroll…..how do you load coupons and such if I do not want to give my credit card info? will they send me a UPromise card to scan at the register? not really sure how this thing works. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Erica if you go to the site and log in on the right side of the screen it should show you your account summary. Under that there is a section that says recent transactions and any thing that you have pending or funded will be there. You can click “view all” and see if they are pending or funded. On the left side of that screen there is a link for contribution timetable. That tells you how long each company takes to fund your account. I believe it takes like 2 weeks after entering your credit card info for it to be processed, so not sure if you will get contributions for that time period. On the site there is a link that will explain how it works on the top of the page. I signed up back in 2001 and try to remember to go through their site when shopping online. I recently cashed out $300 for my sons college payments. It does add up but it will definitely not cover all college, lol. I have entered my credit card info and never had a problem with anything. I think they only need your credit card info if you plan to use the dining rewards, but I can’t remember for sure since I did it so long ago. You just enter your publix, cvs, winn dixie cards for what ever stores are in your area that participate. By cards, I mean the cards the store scans for you to get discounts, not a credit card or anything. It is nice to dine out at restaurants or buy groceries and get money back for doing so. You sign up online through upromise.com, and at publix just ask them for the upromise card and they will give it to you.
This is my first time but here lots of my friends that has been doing it for a while so hoping for great things. ..
