Liza over at Addicted to Saving emailed to let me know that page 6A in today’s St Pete Times newspaper has a $5 off of $40+ Sweetbay coupon. If your store accepts Sweetbay as a competitor you might want to grab that coupon!
UPDATE: Shelby emailed me the printable version…available HERE!! Thanks to Shelby at Which Store 2 Now!
Katie emailed to remind us that Campbell’s is recalling millions of pounds of SpaghettiOs due to potentially undercooked meat. Go HERE to read more. Thanks to Katie over at Coupon Maximizer.
Michelle emailed to let me know of a great deal for those of you who can use Albertsons as a competitor: they have an in ad couponfor B1G2 Pork Spare Ribs (2 least expensive free). She was able to take the coupon to her Publix and use them on the advertised ribs for $1.99/lb, and she ended up getting approx 12 1/2 lbs of ribs for less than $9!!! Make the deal even better if you spend over $50 – there is also a $5/$50 Albertson’s coupon in the ad!
The Sweetbay coupon was actually in Saturday’s paper – not today’s. 🙁
I wish I would have read that comment before I ran out in the rain to get the paper and there was no coupon ;(
My Publix doesn’t take the Albertson’s Ribs coupon because they don’t carry the St Louis style that the q is for. They used to replace things so we could use the coupons but they have stopped. Bummer! 🙁
My Publix would not accept the B1G2 coupon stating that this was a price match and not a coupon! Tried to plead my case but customer service wouldnt budge!
Hi! I’m the one that submitted this deal to iheartpublix. It clearly states that it is a 7 day albertsons coupon, so I would email publix corporate. The regional manager for central Florida is very nice! The Q also states that they are for Louis style “pork spare ribs”. I wasn’t sure about this wording either, but an assistant manager was in the meat department when I went back and I asked him if they had any ribs that I could use the albertsons Q on. He knew exactly what I was talking about, and pointed to the ones on sale for $1.99 lb. He even asked on of the meat department people to put them in my Cart for me! When I got to the checkout, they were so busy, the manager was the one who ended up ringing me up. No questions asked! It sounds like a customer service issue at the stores you guys are going to.
My Publix (central FL) wouldn’t accept this coupon either. What they had was not “St Louis” style. I have used this coupon before but I am pretty sure that the package said “St Louis” on it. The cashier was very nice about it and checked with manager and they said not a match. Do you think they purposely no longer call them “St Louis” so that they won’t have to honor that coupon, since Albertson’s does run they special quite a bit? Just wondering… Bought one pack though for the Fourth and they were yummy!
