It is Friday that means that today is the day to send in your questions for “Ask I Heart Publix”!
Your questions can be about anything – basic couponing information, how to use the site, finding coupons, other ways to save, whatever you’re curious about! Every Wednesday I’ll answer 10 of your questions. There’s also a new tab at the top of the site where all past questions and answers are stored.
Keep asking, and we’ll keep answering! Email your questions to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com. If it has been a while and your question has not been answered please resend. My inbox can be a monster and sometimes things can get lost 😀
Also, if you’d like to be featured on the new Reader Spotlight, email the idea for your post (or your completed post!) to contactiheartpublix at gmail dot com.

I hate toting my huge coupon binder into the store with me, but there is usually an unadvertised deal or an item on clearance that I have a coupon for in my binder. What do you do when you find a great deal but your coupon is at home?
At Kroger, they now have the deli ordering system. Something I have always thought supermarkets should have! Instead of standing on a line to put an order in (a painstakingly slow process) customers can place their order and continue shopping and return when the order is ready. Will Publix be getting this soon?
I know there is a Publix in Orlando, FL that does this. Wish the Publix near me would. That would be awesome!
Where exactly is this Publix in Orlando? Its not mine.
What would you say would be the top items that can usually be purchased for free? I am new and starting to build my stockpile, but am curious what are the top items that are often free or very cheap.
I love this idea I hope she will answer this one
About how long would you say (from your experience) would it take for a beginner in stockpiling to reach the point where they will not need to stockpile for a couple months on essentials such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc…
Also, obviously food is different, but again there are usually deals every week on Cereals and I know stockpiling on these items are up to us and our families needs but when is or how many boxes do you think you should stop buying and enjoy your stockpile for awhile before starting up again?
Thank you!
I love love love your weekly spreadsheet you provide us for the weekly ad. I hate to suggest more work, but are there any plans to provide a similar one for the advantage buy fliers? Thanks!
Could you help me understand how cellfire works with the store cards etc. I know it can’t be that difficult to grasp but for some reason i can’t figure it out.
Thanks!
Where do you get your Publix weekly sneak peak? I go between your site and another one, and the other one didn’t have nearly the sales listed as yours does. I do believe she gets her info right from Publix. I just want to make sure to take the coupons that match up with yours if your is indeed the correct deals!!
Im dying to know this answer! And if Publix supports what you do for us and them.
I have friends that clear shelves to stock-pile and then sell everything at yard sales. I know clearing shelves is just not nice. Is it legal to sell merchandise? They do not charge sales tax or report income to the IRS.
Where do you get your clipped coupons? Is there a service that you recomend. I have tried it before and was dissatisfied with the service that I used and I would love a recomendation.
I have used ebay for the ones i really want. But i have used http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com they have the whole inserts if you need them or the clipped coupons
I use the Q Hunter
http://www.theqhunter.com
she also has the whole inserts or individual coupons.
I am just now learning how to do it via eBay…
I want to know the area your in because a lot of the times I get excited that there will be a certain coupon or something in the “Sneak Peak” and I get so bummed when we have something similar in our area but not what you had mentioned. I know the are regional areas but I’m in Florida and I thought you were near by.
THANKS a BUNCH for what you do!!!
I noticed coupon clipping services selling tearpad coupons. Where do coupon clipping services get tearpad coupons that they sell? Are they cleaning out the stores, then turning around and selling them back to us?
