None of the Publixes here (Gainesville, FL) know anything about this event, and the website lists every Publix in town as participating.
I just returned from store #86 in Roswell, GA and there was nothing going on. I asked at Customer Service and was told that they have never heard of the Huggies event. Great! I just wasted 20 mins of my Sat. morning. This location NEVER has booklets, tearpads, and now advertised Huggies coupon events! Grrrr!
My store was on the list and knew nothing about it!!
Same here! They were totally clueless. I checked the publix website, the huggies website and the gerber website and there was nothing there about the event.
at my store it was back in the frozen foods. A lady with a table and she just asked if I wanted coupons, got huggies and gerber coupons then she had U kotex coupons 1.50/1 and a sample pack of U Kotex.
Last time I checked, Kotex don’t hold as much fluid as a Huggies diaper…:)

Me too! I was just at my Publix (which is one of the bigger ones around) and they didn’t have a thing! Bummed!
Soooo…does anyone know which company I can write a complaint email to? Is it Huggies or Publix? I HATE wasting time and I want my coupons (and $5000 gift card)!
I went to one Publix and there was nothing, and then went to another and there was a lady with samples and coupons. There was a coupon booklet with coupons for huggies and gerber products as well as 2 different MIR one for $5 GC wyb $25 of Gerber products in one visit, and one for a $5 GC wyb $25 of Kimberly Clark Products. She was standing in the back of the store.
I’m hoping they’ll have extras of the booklets when I go back again sometime this week.
mine is the biggest in the area and on the list, i called before heading out and they said no huggies event was there…grrrr
I just returned from my Publix in Montgomery, AL, and there was a stand in the back of the store with some coupons, but nobody was back there to explain what was going on. I was able to get the coupons though.
I went and there was NOTHING. I even checked and there was supposed to be an event at my store. I walked around the whole store…
My Publix was listed but they knew nothing of this event. Luckily I called ahead before trekking over with my two girls in tow! Oh-well!

Just watch out giving out all of your contact information with phone numbers directly to a marketing company. They are probably going to sell your information so many times, you’ll need to change your phone number in a month.
Thank you – I wanted to enter this – I really wanted to get the coupons and was disappointed when I went to 4 publix’s in my area that were listed as participating last week and then tonight they were not on the list.

Dear Publix,
I visited both Publix stores 86 and 626 this morning, 8/28, to participate in your internet advertised (in-storeevents.com) Huggies/Gerber 11:00 am event. Both stores were listed as participating, however neither stores had even heard of the event. Neither were giving away coupons or registering guests for the $5000 grocery give-away. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I was unable to pick up coupons or enter the sweepstakes – but even more upset that I wasted an entire hour of my Saturday looking for a participating store. As an avid Publix shopper, I was disheartened to find that my time was was not more valued by your company or its stores.
I am not sure how you are handling any complaints regarding the this matter, but at the very least I would appreciate if you could please send me a number of any coupons, coupon booklets, or mail-in rebates associated with the in-store events.

I just want to say, I don’t think Publix had anything to do with the event.
I believe it is Huggies and Gerber, and that they sent the information to the stores. On the coupon booklet it lists a company called Effective Marketing Solutions as the sponsor. There is an email to send inquiries about the order status for gift cards of promotions@effectivemktg.com. I would direct my anger to them.

It seems like one of those promotion girls, they just walk in and stand in a corner. More likely customer service don’t even know they are there. lol
My store WAS on the list a couple of days ago when I looked, but today it was not. I called the stores that are on the list, and they didn’t know what I was talking about! What a bummer!
This could hardly be classified as an “event”! We went to the smallest Publix in town as it’s the first one we came to, and there was a lady standing with a box of coupon booklets near the baby aisle – she looked like she had no clue was she was supposed to do or say! She handled me one pamphlet with Publix coupons for Gerber Good Start ($5/lg. can), Gerber Smart Nourish or yogurt baby food (B2G1), Huggies diapers ($5/box), Huggies wipes($2/184+ count wipes) and a manufacturer U by Kotex coupon ($1.50/1pkg). The registration for the $5,000 sweepstakes is inside the pamphlet as well as the forms for the $5 Publix cards if you buy $25 in Gerber products or $25 in Kimberly-Clark products. There were no samples or explanations or anything like that. Every Publix in the Tallahassee area was listed as participating, however we visited three more after the first Publix just to see if there was more to the event than the first Publix was doing, and none of the other stores had an “event” of any kind or had any idea what we were talking about! I’m glad to have gotten the coupons from the first store, but it was not quite what we thought it was going to be!
My store (Homewood AL) was pretty much the same as some of the others. A table near frozen food, a small huggies and gerber flyer, kotex u coupon and kotex u sample. Not what I call an “event”. And it wasn’t even set up until after 11:15. I’ll take the coupons, but this was just basically the same thing as any other sample table set up anywhere else. Definitely not worth a special trip. I’m glad I was out running other errands anyway!
I wrote an email to the company and they responded letting me know I would receive the coupons in the mail!

Check the ad racks ladies!!
I was frustrated as well but on my way our I checked the ad rack and found the Huggies and U by Kotex coupons there! Woohoo!! I guess either the store didn’t have a demonstrator show up or he/she was feeling too lazy to pass them out. Either way I was thrilled!!
