Both Tanya and Taylor let me know about the $.50/2 Hunt’s tomato coupon available HERE at Start Making Choices. I think the site may be having issues…but I’d say keep trying as the coupon (when doubled) will mean 2 cans for .39¢
Thanks to Tanya & Taylor for the heads up!
My store had a blinkie with $1.00 off of 4 Hunt’s tomatoes.
I printed this coupon yesterday, and like so many others it said “DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE”. I have never had a problem w/Publix doubling coupons like this in the past. Last night however, my cashier sorted through my coupons and wouldn’t double the ones with that message on them. Has this happened to anyone else? Is Publix starting to be more strict with their coupons? Just wondering if anyone knew anything about this. Thanks!
My store also had a $1/4 blinkie! I grabbed 3 or 4 because I’ve noticed at my store that if there’s a blinkie for a sale item, it’s normally there on Wednesday but gone by Thursday…and then back up when the sale is over. Does this happen at anyone else’s stores or is mine just finicky?
The IP from Start Making Choices states “do not double” right on the coupon, so it cannot be doubled.
I’ve never had a problem with Publix doubling those coupons, regardless of the wording on them. The only ones they won’t double, are competitor/store coupons.

It just depends on the cashier. Sometimes my cashier just scans them and other times I have had one cashier go through each one of my items in my cart repeated times to ensure that I actually purchased the items I had coupons for. Kind of annoying. It is always good to get to know the customer service as well as cashiers.
John, thank you for the link. It worked!
my publix has started asking for the coupons before ringing in any of my items and going through the coupons to check to make sure they match the items im buying. they also dont double if the coupon says not to when they go through them. Honestly, it adds at least 3 minutes to my shopping time with a three year old who is past ready to leave. Last time it took the cashier 10 minutes and I nearly lost my cool on her over it. I avoid her line now. Correct me if im wrong here, but wont the computer reject coupons for items that werent rung up?
Your link for Hunts opens the site, but their link to the coupon isn’t working. Anyone else having luck on Saturday a.m.
All you lucky people with Publix’s that double coupons. We here in St. Aug. aren’t so fortunate. I think I may start an email campaign.
