-$4.00 Off the purchase of Four (4) General Mills or Nature Valley Products, Assorted Varieties, 5-oz pkg or larger. Limit one deal per coupon per customer. (valid for the ad date)
I am thrilled about this coupon and many of you have emailed me with lots of questions…so I wanted to get a post up so everyone would be able to see it 🙂
Go HERE to see all the General Mills products! As you will see there are tons! The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the coupon requires the product to be a minimum of 5 ounces. I am not sure when I will get a chance to get to the store so if anyone is able to do some price checking I will happily find the match ups and get deals posted!
I have updated the Super Deals and here are some that I think will make for a good deal:
- Gold Medal Flour –$.50/1 PRINT
- Pillsbury Rolls & Biscuits –TONS of coupons available!
- Old El Paso Products (rices, beans, etc…remember the seasoning packets are not over 5-oz!!)
- Betty Crocker Warm Delights–should be FREE/cheap  with $.50/1 & Publix Q
- Betty Crocker Potatoes
- Totinos Pizza are relatively cheap aren’t they??
- Green Giant frozen & canned veggies
I think there will be TONS of great deals–I may do a lot of shopping this week 🙂Â
There are currently TONS of GM product coupons here on these sites (click each link for coupons)  Coupons.com, SmartSource, Pillsbury, Box Tops For Education, Betty Crocker and Eat Better America (Pillsbury, Betty Crocker & BTFE are connected and you will only be able to print two copies of the same coupon even if you see it on the other site)Â
I wonder if the 4 products have to be from the “General Mills” branded items (like cereal, that say “General Mills” on the box) or Nature Valley brand. That is what the coupon implies, but I could see how you could stretch it to include all the General Mills brands. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
I went on the Website for General Mills and found Fiber One, Progresso and Pillsbury on there. When they had the promotion to get a green bag per 2 GM brand purchase, they would not let me. So I suggest bringing a printout from the GM website of what their GM brands are.
Anyway, here is my scenario for Cereal:
Here is my scenario:
Buy 2 Total Cereal
Buy 1 Cookie Crisp
Buy 1 Honey Nut Cheerios
————————-
$10 for 4 Cereal
-$4 off 4 In-Ad Q
-$2 Target Print ($1 off 2 GM Cereal)
-$3.75 Manuf Q*
————————–
$0.25 for 4 Cereal!!!
*Coupons I have are:
$1 Cookie Crisp & Total from Better At Home
$0.75 off Total and $1 off Cheerios from Home Mailer
If you have two copies of Better At Home, then you just get 2 Total & 2 Cookie Crisp for FREE!
The coupon states a 5-oz. pkg. or larger. Would that include pillsbury since that would be considered a can and not a package? I’m confused on this coupon.
Wendy
You will have to speak to your store about the wording of the coupon. Package is a VERY loose term (definition: a container, wrapping, etc., esp. one in which a commodity is packed for sale) If in doubt ask your store!!
Anna, wouldn’t the Target coupons be considered Store Coupons? I’m not sure if you could use those with the Publix store coupon.
Can you only use one of these $4 off publix in ad coupons per visit?
Seems the coupon is a typo and should have read-General Mills Cerealor Nature Valley Products. You should check with your store to see how they are allowing this to be used. We should not get upset about this grocery ads always have the disclaimer about errors.
Where is this ad?? I’ve seen several things about it, but can’t find the coupon!! Please help!
Just so you know I went to publix this am and they are only allowing this coupon to be used on general mills cereals. Not all general mills products. I’m disapointed but agree that arguing with the best grocery store in town is only going to make them less likely to offer future promotions like this.
the manager tried to say the same thing that it was for cereal. But I told her it says “any 4 general mills or nature valley product” Cereal is just pictured. But the coupon comes off as $4 cereal
For what its worth, I just got back from a shopping trip to Publix. I bought 4 Muir Glen tomato sauces to use with the coupon in the flyer. When the cashier questioned it, I explained that General Mills was the parent company and she told that the product had to SAY General Mills. So it seems that it has to be from the General Mills line of products.
If you are planning to use this q to get movie tickets, from what I have seen, the boxes for the ticket promo are larger than the sale 4/$10 boxes. If possible get a raincheck today for the current GM bogo.
The Valleydale store said Nature Valley products and GM cereal only. The GM rep in the store said that was the intention of the promo.
Another place for a General Mills Cereal coupon (in case your store is only allowing you to use the ad coupon on cereal). This one has some of the less healthy (and therefore more popular with my husband and kids) cereals, $1/2.

Where can I find this coupon?
I haven’t been able to find this $4/4 in ad coupon that you are all talking about! Which ad? Really want to use this, but can’t find it!!!
THE COUPON WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE AD THAT STARTS TOMORROW 🙂
I checked my store today and the $4/4 coupon was in the weekly sale flyer at the front of the store, in the turnstile.
I went to Publix today and used the coupon on the Simply Coookies. Worked great!Got 4 of them for free. They had no problem honoring it. The lady actually brought it up before I did!
I bought 2 Toaster Strudels and 2 Pillsbury pizza crusts because my $1.00 off coupons were expiring tomorrow. (Total= $2.05) 🙂 I went in and asked at the service desk and the clerk said “There should not be a problem”. The cashier was a little confused, but once I showed her that the back of the box said General Mills, she agreed that I should be able to use the coupon. And then the supervisor had to come over because I only bought 4 items and had 5 coupons, but she ok’d it too. Guess I was lucky. I’m going back tomorrow for the Muir Glen.
You can also go to Publix’s website, click on weekly ad, then click on teh coupon tab. You can print the $4/4 coupon as many times as you want. That saves you from having to grab 4-5 ads just to clip the Q out of it.
Competitor Qs ring up as named, so it doesn’t usually conflict with Publix store Qs. I haven’t had problems with using Target Qs with CVS.
I really dont want to get cereal but other stuff. I called 3 stores in 2 states (were between AL and FL) and nobody seems to know how to deal with this coupon down here.
I went to 5 different publix stores today. 1 refused to let me use the coupon on progresso bread crumbs and GM flour. After that, I checked at customer service first. 3 of the customer service people (at 3 diff. stores) said ANY general mills. But, every time at checkout it was an issue using this coupon. They pushed it through for me, but they made me feel bad about it.
I wish the coupon were clearer. I don’t want to take advantage of Publix, but I also love to get a good deal. They need to make the language clearer so we can all play by the rules.
